Do you see why I have a problem here? As far as the rest of the world is concerned she's not a hero or a infamous villain, she's at most a master in medical ninjutsu with jounin level skills. Naruto and Sasuke right now are on equal standings, but Sakura has been overcome by them long long ago. I might have been okay with this if it weren't for the fact that Kishi hyped up the legendary sanin and gave them almost the exact same story as team 7. I expected that Sakura would be a great and influential character that was on par with the rest of team 7.
Now this doesn't mean I wanted Sakura to be an expert in combat, that isn't always the most important thing a character can do. All I wanted was for her to surpass Tsunade and be respected as a member of team 7, the squad that has changed the entire shinobi world. But she's not, and Kishi has disappointed me enough that I don't expect him to make things right. I guess we'll all have to remember Sakura as a character who gave the hero strength by caring for him and ended up falling in love with him. I just wanted more from Sakura, and Kishi apparently didn't find it important.
Normally at this stage I would reread my post and fix anything I didn't like about it, but instead I'll just let you all hear the first thoughts that flew into my head.

Exact same feelings here. Why have the legendary sannin shown as a former team 7, and then not finish one of the characters? If Kishi doesn't give Sakura all of Tsunade's abilities and then some, Sakura won't be seen as part of the legendary sannin 2.0 that reshaped the entire shinobi world forever.
Even if she is the greatest medical ninja alive and is married to Naruto. People will look back at her and how tough she fought to reshape the world, and be like "..uh... what did she do again?"
It's terrible writing, and should be an insult to the female viewers who have to watch Sakura and a lot of the other female characters being destroyed or tossed aside.
PLEASE KISHI! HAVE MERCY!

At this point it would be silly if she were on equal standing with Naruto and Sasuke. You won't find me complaining if she gets to do a bit more in this battle though. Her scenes have been greatly lacking the past couple years.

Sasuke is still her weakness and the fact that she put her friends to sleep and had doubts about killing Sasuke at first glance before the second attempt, pretty much shoves on the face her feelings towards Sasuke makes her take stupid actions.
In case you have doubts if wasnt Naruto she would have died.
She did put her friends to sleep , but wasn't that because she wanted to protect them , to take the burden all on herself ? Naruto does the same after he meets Sasuke , he realizes how strong he is and does not want any of the K11 to face him , knowing that they do not stand a chance and would die .
Let us say she would have killed Sasuke then ... would that not have been worse for NaruSaku ? Could Naruto have forgiven her for something like that back then ?
Sakura is the same as Naruto , if he had been in her stead he would not have been able to kill Sasuke either . Considering the state Sasuke was in at the time , Kakashi would have been able to kill him (white Zetsu and all) , but Naruto stops him . Guess that same can be said for Naruto then , that he is weak when it comes to Sasuke , but in my opinion that is not the case

But no, what am I saying? It only applies to love since that way it can benefit your pairing.

Naruto is NOT blaming her or Sasuke. He's blaming himself for not keeping the promise. They need to wake the damn up. Sorry if I sound rude or make you think I'm yelling at you, which I'm not referring to you at all, but I'm sick of being sick of hearing that.

Yeah especially considering that even if Naruto doesn't have any answers he isn't perceived as being in the wrong ever. Once he finds out enough about something his decision leads to the best outcome.

Bolded, exactly. From this, waking up to the true fact will never happen, only if shipping goggles are off.

Because he's way more strong than he's friends and he feels that he's the only one who can do those things.
Doesnt not matter if she had killed Sasuke or not, he deserved death after all he did if it's worse to NaruSaku or not, pick up Obi/Rin or even Jira/Tsu.
And the question is would Naruto forgive himself?
Naruto would not have been able to kill Sasuke and that's the reason he brought up Kakashi and Yamato, Sakura went there alone for unknown reasons, if she really wanted to kill Sasuke she would not had doubts and decided that after he asked for her to kill Karin.
She thought that Sasuke cared about her as a teammate and would allow her ot join him(wishfull thinking) and take advantage of that to later if he was really evil would kill him or not, which would probably the later, does not matter which scenario would be because on all of them her death was certain, it just prove Kakashi's words (she's just marching to her own death).

Hmm if you mean the bath scene I remember she being embarrassed. When did she giggle?
Anyway Naruto acts pervy when he wants to check Sakura out. But Kishi never developed this side of him. Probably fear beats libido when we are talking about Naruto

Did she giggle? I just remember her putting her hand in front of her mouth because of how shocking it was what Sai said.
I don't know how much sexual attraction that constitutes. Besides, this isn't some harem comedy so that kind of thing would be rare. It doesn't even matter anyway since at the very least NS has the mutuality that NH and SS so desperately crave.
I still find it funny how some people speculated (and still do) about Hinata getting some golden byakugan. They were hoping for some amazing NH team up in 616 that was apparently own the Juubi and solidify them as the greatest couple in existence since Hinata was getting some exclusive power up that only she could handle because she was Naruto's chosen one.

But no, then comes next chapter and it turns out it 615 was all about Hinata's development and that Naruto immediately gave the same treatment to all of the alliance. Oh I do so remember the disappointment of some people. But hey, that's what you get for getting your hopes up that a side character is going to suddenly take center stage when there absolutely no build up or any necessary reason whatsoever for it to happen.

I still remember how so many reviewer where trying to hide their disappointment about not getting their absurdly speculated NH combo. They kept calling what Naruto did as unnecessary and yet praised Hinata getting that power in the previous chapter.
And now after 628 comes out not only are some wondering why isn't Naruto addressing Hinata, as if she's now some key character, but they're claiming to the heavens that the only reason Sakura appeared now is because Sasuke is coming. I mean, seriously, we see Sakura back and the first thing she does is to keep worrying about Naruto pushing his limits, which was the central theme of that chapter, and yet people have the audacity to conclude that it's related to Sasuke. How far up their... sorry, I let myself get a little carried away there.
How twisted can some make their believes that they assume everything about Sakura has to be related to Sasuke, do people really so easily forget that Sakura has an important bond with Naruto as well? That regardless of their romantic outcome that they want to take care of each other?
It's just sad that for some people all Sakura means to them is the girl that loves Sasuke and nothing more. It really is selective reading at it's finest. But hey, Kishi already showed that NH isn't what people hyped it up to be, so I'm sure that SS will end up being the same.

Here's the thing, Sakura ususally gets development only if Sasuke is involved. Personally i also believe shes only appeared because of incoming sasuke-kun.

They say that Sakura appeared now because of Sasuke ???!!!
I mean shouldn't all the readers know by now that when Sasuke will show up at the same place he's going that has one of them, Naruto or Sakura, or one of them going to where Sasuke is, that those three will be shown together in the same chapter/s ?

Yes, but she should appear. Team 7 reunion like always, and beside that, it's her time now to appear after the side characters appeared in the last few chapters for developments and stuff.

Tell me about this Sasuke exclusive development because I do not know of any. If you can think of any development that doesn't involve Naruto in some way then I'll concede. Think about it very carefully.
