The superficial ones will be happy, everyone else who had thought that the movie was there for Hinata's character development will be...pissed? Disappointed? Confused? Grobsmacked? Brainfreezed?

those 30000 tickets sold in in preview alongside the naruto/sasuke/kakashi's jacket books were really a cheap shot.

So the movie is successful?

On the first day yes, due to FRAUD.

Kakashi and Sasuke has the biggest fanbase in Japan and they made an advertisement that looked they were the important characters in the movie before revealing about Hinata. The Kakashi and Sasuke fans bought the merchandises and the tickets. Now that they know they were being cheated, they asked for refund. But unlike the previous movies, the LAST is the only movie that doesn't allow refund. Hence people are raging that this is a huge fraud :zaru:

All those years of showing Naruto's love for Sakura and all those hints with Minato and Kushina was done for what? Misleading us, calling it a red-herring.

News flash you moron that's not a red-herring. That is called development and foreshadowing.

You don't do a red-herring for years. You don't spend that much time on a red-herring.

In the end he really did sell out. But not to the NH fanbase. Because they kittened as well even doubt they became canon.

He sold to part 3 and upcoming movies. Which will fail.

Incredible in my entire life I haven been screwed by a "story" (if you can actually call it that) so much than this.
