There's three categories of people for hating Sakura, sadly:

1- Those who doesn't know that the main female characters has a Tsundere personality.

2- The ones that continued to hate due to part 1 effect and still not shaking it off.

3- Those who are seeing her as an obstacle to their pairing.

Sakura has changed since part 1 but she still loves Sasuke, and that alone is fuel for hatred. It's actually even worse now with the murder attempts and failed assassination. She betrayed her teamates and lied to Naruto. Again, all fuel for hatred.

Of course they will, hating Sakura is mainstream in western society, and as a direct result people flock together with the common interest of hating Sakura. Sakura haters have their own community, and a large one at that. It's quite simple if you really think about it. It's just human nature.

Funny thing is that Kishi asked if she's popular in USA. I guess he's aware on how people sees him in the west. I really wish he wasn't the one to be in this conflict.

She wasn't very useful in fights and ended up being a burden on team 7.

Probably most see her as weak and probably being NH shippers think Hinata is better suited to assist Naruto in his fights.

This coupled by the fact that she is a medic nin and probably adheres to Tsunade rules of not engaging an enemy, made her seem like she only waits for Naruto to get hurt and then intervene. But Naruto is a fast healer and even thou he was in serious injury he still fought back with what he had. Sakura was seen healing Naruto I think only about 2 times. When he went 4 tails and when he used Rasenshuriken.

So who would win in a taijutsu fight? Sakura Naruto Sasuke or Rock Lee?

True but it should have stopped after the first time. Naruto learned his lesson after his first encounter with an enemy ninja, Sakura only learned hers near the end of part 1. She simply didn't try hard enough to get stronger, and she didn't have the mental strength to fight like a shinobi should. If she put in more effort after the Zabuza arc then this wouldn't be a problem. In fact if she did then she would likely have become an expert in both medical ninjutsu and genjutsu.

Rock Lee. Sasuke copied Lee's basics, but in the two past years he's trained on his sharingan and lighting affinity. Sakura should be on Lee's level IMO, but I don't think she is. Naruto may win if he uses Sage mode/frog taijutsu.

But Hinata is more like an attacker, not a supporter. Say what you want, but two attackers doesn't necessarily make the combo perfect. Heck, they even do this in card games. Attacker and supporter is the best combo, depending their perks. Now I know you may thinking, "Well she has those eyes" but those are like for far distance and then what, she's no sniper. Plus, Naruto uses Bunshin to track down anyway. Karin works because not only she can detect easily but she can heal. Works well with Sasuke or anyone who has trouble to find and damage repair. Sakura matches well with Naruto because he's too hothead to not defend himself. Yes, he has Kyuubi, but perhaps something will tell us otherwise in the upcoming chapter. Oh, and she got a monster strength, so she's covered. And damn smart, which Naruto lacks, even though he has been doing well, no one figured out Tobi but her and well thought theory.

Yeah it feels like the K11 is filled up with taijutsu or close ranged specialists. Thou the one who you can call pure taijutsu is Rock Lee the others can beat him only with their special abilities.

Lee is an interesting character though he's always ends up on a situation that he can win against everyone except one guy however it's the guy that he has to fight.

Chuunin exam, Lee would win easily against everyone except Gaara, then he gets to fight Gaara.
Sasuke's rescue would win against everyone except for Kimimaru and ends up having to fight with Kimimaru.

I'm pretty sure that Neji would have beaten him, after all the only real way to beat Neji is genjutsu.

The first impression is that matters, i also hated Sakura on part 1 seriously dude, Naruto saved her and did everything to her and she was about to abandon Naruto to go for the guy who treated her like trash.
There's no words to describe the rage i felt towards her character on her confession to Sasuke.

It doesn't really help that Sakura is often compared to Hinata, who is usually perceived to be "perfect." Both is body and mind. The one flaw that is most noticeable in Hinata is her lack of confidence, but many fans share that trait with her, so they want her to succeed. I think that's why she has such a large fanbase. So when it comes to pairings, you see a lot of people putting Hinata's feelings over Naruto's.

Sakura is the heroine, and she actually gets enough panel time to have flaws and be able to overcome them, but that's just not enough for Anti-Sakura fans. It's like they hate development. I get tired of people looking at Part II Sakura as if she's the same fangirl she was in Part I. It's not fair for her character or Kishi. Although I must say, her confession to Sasuke right before he left makes me cringe every time I see it. I bet she gained at least a quarter of her haters from that one scene. But she's come a long way. There's no way in hell she would make the same speech now.

I cant say that she's the same fangirl towards Sasuke as on part 1 but i cannot say that she's a fangirl towards him.
Sasuke is still her weakness and the fact that she put her friends to sleep and had doubts about killing Sasuke at first glance before the second attempt, pretty much shoves on the face her feelings towards Sasuke makes her take stupid actions.
In case you have doubts if wasnt Naruto she would have died.
