I'm actually pretty excited for the next chapter. If a SS moment happens, then it happens. But, I'm pretty sure it'll be more of nakama-like feeling than anything else. Sakura's not the same girl she used to be, so we shouldn't worry so much about her being so close to Sasuke. The more they interact, the more Sakura can finally get her closure from him, so that she'll be able to move on from him, and eventually get with Naruto

What I mean is if this moment is just a moment of "job well done." Let me give you an example. Let's say chapter 686 goes SS route:

Sasuke: Sakura...Thank you.
Sakura: Eh?
Sasuke: And sorry...
Sakura: (All this time, I doubted him. I couldn't trust him. I thought he has forgotten about his team. But I was wrong. Sasuke has always care about me. I know that one day, we can be together at last).

Or what if 686 goes to the other route:

Sasuke: Send me back to Naruto now.
Obito: Right....
Sasuke enters the portal. That's it.

Why can't it be more like this?

Sasuke: Thank You Sakura,Obito.

Sakura: That's what teammates do, you seem to have forgotten .

Sasuke: I....

Sakura: Naruto always believed in you and I want to help him to the best of my abilities. 

             He's fighting alone. We go there, now!

That works too. Falls under otherwise though, so no SS moment as people would want it. You get the idea.

Lol that's a good question. Come to think of it, what about Konohamaru. Probably thinking of him entering all strip club and such at his own age. Surely, the awesome power of IT won't stop anyone.

Dude, it is but natural to get tensed! Everyone is excited/worried about the outcome. If you think that everyone should be cool and calm and stuff, then sorry that's not happening. No one is losing faith in their ship! We are all just tensed about what the outcome will be and I don't think its not normal...

 

 

Here's the thing: it's been almost a decade ago since SS got something. No negative, no one person thought, just something positive. It's like seeing someone win a title after losing for over 2 years. In a way, some of us don't know what to think of it. I mean it feel like the first one ever. So you can built the credibility for romance side or just a platonic moment as it can get.
 

Yes, you right now I know  why affect so much SS, but still took me for surprise. Before I enter to this forum I was undecided if  I want or not to enter for my bad confident in my English however, I was watching you how you stay strong when NS was in problems while new users  were in panic and I saw 1 or 2 leave the forum and not reading the manga, the last person leave the manga because the Naruto reverse harem jutsu, now some are taking a break.

You only need to consider the OOC-ness in the two possible scenarios that you posted and you'll reach the proper conclusion.

Now consider it from the story point of view. If Sasuke and Sakura patch up everything here and now, that means Sakura did Naruto's job of redeeming Sasuke! What would happen when Naruto and Sasuke fight? Can you not see this creates a problem? What would Sakura do and who would she support ?

IT is the person's biggest desires right? He'll dream of having a marriage with Tsunade with Minato, Kushina, Nawaki, Hiruzen, and Orochimaru happily standing in the background.

I bet he's still strong! He is just...tensed! I'd like to illustrate his condition using this example. You know, how much ever you have prepared for your exams and how much ever good you write your papers....there is still some tension, the night before the results, right? Its not that he is unsure of his pairing, it is 'just' that tension like the one which comes before the results are out!

No one is losing faith in the pairing!

I see. I'm always a patient guy, though many of us aren't. I often complain to myself, "My goodness, is there a timebomb? If not, why the hurry?" I am still calmed as it is. It just me being a bit crazy for fun, though I am nervous. That's just me though, it's usually the case with every week, depending on the situation. However, I did culminate the movie announcement as well, so got me nervous. Before it was minor, now just nervous.

I really don't see any over-confident/cocky posts as  far as prediction of the next chapter is concerned TBH. Just sarcastic posts at the expense of SS. And isn't SS taunting always done here? I'm a new member so I wouldn't know

Isn't it more likely that Naruto will try to sneak in again in the dimension where Obito , Sakura and Sasuke are now ? To get Sasuke to Naruto Obito still needs a lot of chakra because he again has to open portal between Kaguya's dimensions . And unless Saskue has suddenly learned how to transfer his chakra , there is no one else that can give Obito  enough chakra to open a new portal .
