So was Sakura atleast aware of her feelings for Naruto after the land of Iron arc?

I think Naruto's near death experience is what is going to be responsible ultimately for her realizing her love for him.

Well she should atleast be somewhat aware of her feelings. Aside from Kishi saying the confession was honest, and her actually going on dates with him and flirting with him when he returned to Konoha we know she at the very least has thought about it.

I don't think so. Otherwise, we probably be in panic instead of "Hm..." If she's aware and isn't thinking love, well that could be troublesome, now would it.

I don't think she completely realizes her feelings. During Naruto's near death experience, she might have started to realize them, but she hasn't had time time reflect on them, since she's been busy. I kinda pictured naruto complimenting her forehead( like he did in ch.3) and then her having flashbacks of all her moments with Naruto and realizing her love. You know since it's Kishi's favorite device to use.

His near death experience got her thinking very strongly at her words for Naruto, let alone determination. If she said it out loud, one would say, "wow...you really love him, don't you..." That's why Sai and Yamato caught on quick.

Agreed, if she said that outloud, we would be able to add Gaara onto the NS supporters list. However, I think the reason Kishi had her think it was because if had Gaara pointed it out then, she might realize her love at that point, but Kishi doesn't want that. Plus it's all about setting/mood and realizing she loved Naruto then and there, while they still needed to deal with Madara, plus Sasuke, plus other things would not have been the best time for that.

This might have been mentioned before, but i'll add it anyways.  I find some delicious irony in Kakashi looking back at Sakura's dream where she stated the person she liked, what she seem to want for the future, and comparing it to Naruto's near death scene where she ends up basically sharing Naruto's dream of him becoming Hokage.

My opinion so called Sakura fake confession  s diffrent. From my POV i think its half confession. Sakura did mistake in her motivation from begin. Naruto know Sakura well so figured out her motive easly and still that time Sakura feelings were same for Sasuke and Naruto. I think in Iron country arc love for Naruto and Sasuke inside Sakura collide so even if she truelly mean what she said to Naruto. He knew she s not settled and didnt accept.

 

Its so called syndrom of secone men. Naruto will wait till she figured who love most.

 I think since so many people helped her realize her growing feelings for naruto already, Kishi might have her realize she loves him on her own. Cause Yamato, Sai, Kakashi, and Minato, have already given us the impression she loves him and most named have given Sakura the idea that they are more than just friends, so Sakura realizing it on her own this time, is most likely how Kishi plans on doing it.

Yeah, through Naruto's actions is how she began falling for him and she will figure out who's right for her in the end.( Well she better, otherwise Me and Kishi are going to have a problem.)

It so happened that all of them are said in their mind and if not, interrupted. It's like "What's keeping it so long?" I don't know what's exactly is Kishi plotting with the recent events, but it's no secret that SS is displayed highly negative, while secretly or so has Kishi tried to be, NS is gaining huge momentum. Many have start to think perhaps Kakashi is right but Sakura don't know. It's possible but I wouldn't know if it's right. All I know SS moments in here are displayed negative for unknown reasons, and NS is continue to play as more than friends, let alone best friends.

If i remember correctly Kishi in inte said that 'one of onesided love will have happy ending' that s mean one of NS,NH,SS. If we consider that NH have 0% then we stay with standard NS vs SS. SS in part1 of manga have little development but if we put this on statistic. Naruto started from bottom and development of him make her take interest. Sasuke s diffrent case. Her affection toward him was on roof from begin. Reason why SS fall s part 2 of manga when there was downhill for this pairing. In case of NS . Sakura himself pushed by Naruto archivement was forced to become stronger. I think that training with Tsunade for sure also psychic training changed Sakura from fan girl . I will say that Sakura herself changed most in all charaters. Naruto only matured bit but she changed drasticly that s why i think she more or less now settled herself. She have answer right know but we have war so of course Kishi will not make scene out of butt

Definitely. Since the war began SS was displayed negatively and Sasuke is being shown as an indifferent shady character. There have been NS hints, but they have been subtle so far and I think your right, NaruSaku4life3g, it's gaining momentum for something big in the future.

I'm not sure exactly where to find this (you could ask James) but it was an interview back in 2009 and to add more to the confusion it was right before 540.

But moving along when exactly did this his dream becoming her dream come along? It basically came out of nowhere without any real buildup (this is why I think Kishi should have spent less team beating on the already half-dead SS and focus more on Sakura's feelings on Naruto mystery or not it would atleast be nice to actually get hints from her side aside from 343 and 245 there really isn't any)

Well the romance aspect of the manga is a small subplot that runs with the main story, so things coming out of nowhere aren't unprecedented and shouldn't be all that surprising.

I wouldn't say its a minor subplot, hell kitten motivates like nearly 50% of the story.
