QUOTE (Dαrkrєrsŧ @ Apr 30 2013, 03:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
It's both, Naruto is not to blame since Sakura did a lot of stuff right in front of his eyes and proved to him that she really loves Sasuke, no matter how Naruto hates the way that Sasuke treated Sakura, first part was her desperate hug at the bridge, then the hospital scene and the final blow was her selfish confession, which makes him hate Sasuke because the suffering he cause to Sakura.
And when Sakura display those things for him he's fainted, like the bridge scene, and even the confession were Sai suddenly pulls off that she's doing that because she loves Sasuke.

And with Sakura is her innability to perceive that Sasuke is not the type for her, the "thank you" was mere a illusion she thinks that deep inside there's a "nice" and "warm" Sasuke, it's like the thank you was a display that Sasuke's cold attitude is just a shield that inside he's a nice guy like Naruto.
It's all based on wishfull thinking, she thinks that someday he might change and became a nice guy and affective but what she doesnt realized is that she's not the girl and that Sasuke has his own team and there's other girls that also want his affection and love him for the same reasons as her, that someday he might return to team 7 and they could be like that again, but what she didnt realized is that the old days would never come back because Sasuke has his own "team 7".

I'm iffy on your post. I agree with some parts, and I don't with others given it's never stated or shown. I don't think Naruto hates the way Sasuke treats Sakura for one. I also disagree on the thank you. If you feel she's holding on to this, why not think she's holding on to what was at the bench scene then? I'm just curious.

The problem with NS isn't Sakura or Sasuke, it's Naruto himself. Because of his obsession for Sasuke he can't see the bigger picture that Sakura loves him and she has chosen him above Sasuke. The ball has been on Naruto's side of the court since Sakura's confession he has to figure out how much she loves him and what she's willing to go for him. Sakura has already chosen him for a long time and she doesn't have to push herself on him, it's Naruto the one who has to push himself to Sakura and tell her how he feels period.

Naruto is certainly part of the problem but in a way sakura is just as stubborn as he is. If this were a more realistic tale the two would likely be able to confess their feelings for one another and vow at the same time to save their best friend from the darkness. The way it's going is far more dramatic though. Sasuke will be seen in a good light yet Sakura will still choose Naruto. If Sasuke is still evil then Sakura giving up on him would diminish the dramatic importance of her choosing Naruto. Like I said, not very realistic but much more dramatic.

It's shown on the fight on part 1 between Naruto and Sasuke on the vally of the end.

I dont think it's hate but surely he doesnt like it

She's holding on this because the flashbacks state it as the most important part that relies her love for him(emphasized with a big panel)

On her most desperate time for Sakura it was the "thank you", for Karin it was the part where "Sasuke smiled at her" and on Ino's part was her memory of Sasuke on part 1.
What all those stuff has in common is because it's bull... yep it's all because on wishfull thinking.

This is off topic but I find it funny that despite Pierrot's love for Hinata that they're still consider NaruHina as a side pairing on the same level as LeeSaku.

It's funny because when you think about it the Rock Lee show focused a lot on Lee's attempts to gain Sakura's affection, with Naruto sometimes preventing it, and also with Hinata's attempts to get closer to Naruto, while Neji sometimes preventing it.

To me it seems that Pierrot thinks that LeeSaku = NaruHina

The only reason people have a perception of NaruHina being a big deal is because of Hinata's popularity in the studio, and not because of the connection Naruto and Hinata could have as a couple.

LeeSaku left the impression that it became canon.

Sakura agreed on going on a date. Besides, it was Lee's show so at the very least he could get that much from Sakura.

Sakura was blushing and before the scene they explained that the hero always gets up with the girl he loves.

As I said, it's Lee's show so he gets Sakura to have a momentary change of heart in order to give him a nice moment.

If I remember right during the second half of the episode it was business as usual, including Sakura. tongue.gif

Exactly. I don't even care if the show gave Lee a date with Sakura. It gave NaruSaku so much. And even if it didn't, all of it wouldn't be considered canon. tongue.gif

Are we talking about the same episode? huh.gif

The first half is the Lee vs Sasuke and the second half is the cherry blossom party. What do you mean Sakura wasn't there? You say she was there to blush but then you say she wasn't there at all. You're not making sense.

It was good fun. I find it funny how much pairing match they were doing and it's always Lee, Naruto, Neji, and Chouji. Anyone noticed it? Anyway, I'll think of a new topic soon.

Now i remember the first part is the ending of the anime but the second half is just an episode animated from the manga.
This is the reason why the second half is not a continuation of the first one.

it's stuff like this that should be asked in an interview.
"did you base the hokages in Naruto off of the 7 chakras?"

that kind of stuff is actually interesting information, much more interesting than some ridiculous pairing question like "What kind of powers will NaruHina babies have?"

unfortunetly the reality of it is that most likely nobody will ask this question.

Oh God, I hear that question all the damn time and it's just annoying now. I just can't see Naruto's child having a Dōjutsu, or really any sort of Kekkei Genkai. Perhaps this is some of my NS bias factoring in here, but I think Naruto's kid would probably work for his power instead of relying on a bloodline. Plus, Pink-Haired-Blue-Eyed babies > NaruHina babies. pictureem0.gif

And I know this topic isn't necessarily fit for this specific thread, but many NH fans seem to think that the NH child would have the Rinnegan. I thought that only Uchihas with the EMS and Senju DNA can get the Rinnegan, not just a combo of Uzumaki + Hyūga. unsure.gif What do you guys think?

NaruHina is the equivalent of LeeSaku. smile.gif

Many fans like to deny this, but Hinata and Lee both play the same roles as far as the love triangles go. They're the side support characters for our hero and heroine. Both have unconditional love for their respective interest, and both want to do what they can to protect them. Sure, NaruHina has had more development than LeeSaku, but given that the series doesn't focus much on Sakura and even less on Lee, that's to be expected. But essentially, they are one of the same, just gender switched.

That argument could be made for SasuSaku too. Part One Sakura, at times, felt like a side character who's only purpose was to give support and unconditional love for Sasuke.
