Problem is there was nobody there that could bring it up except for Gaara...and I don't really see him kickstarting up a comedic shipping moment.

But honestly, my point of posting those manga references was just to tell you guys that CPR scenes in shounen mangas are quite significant in regards to pairings/progression.

You're right. I know about some other mangas that have made CPR significant. Often the characters talk about it afterwards and deny that's it's anythign beyond platonic.

Idk. Fodders getting killed left and right just doesn't feel like war to me. Maybe Neji's death, but that's about it.

So is everyone going into their own individual dream world or is basically gonna be like RTN where everyone has the same dream?

I hope its the first choice, it'd be nice to see the characters living their own fantasy for a while

actually kind of reminds of that Justice League episode where most of the heroes fell asleep and were stuck in their dreams because of Dr. Destiny (a dude who is basically freddy kruegar) and the only one who could stop him is Batman because...well kitten never sleeps.

I believe it's all in one world. If I remember what Madara said, he said that the one who cast the jutsu will be in control and make his/her own for all. So it's not individual world, rather under one person's dream.

So what exactly is supposed to be the difference between this world and the real world?

Judging from what he said to Obito and what obito said to Kakashi, it made it seem like everyone would be getting what they wanted (even though it ain't real)
