I refuse to indulge in Kishi's bastardisations and arm-twisting. This series once held meaning to me, but it doesn't any longer, at least not to the extent that I'm going to continue reading it. Whether it's damning to other fandoms or not is irrelevant. Putting myself back into a situation where I'm following that man's work under the guise of ridicule and laughs isn't something that I'm interested in. 

That's ok but please don't call people hypocrits when they simply want to ridicule Kishimotos works and have to read the new manga to that end...

I never made any references to specific people in that post, Decius23. I accused the actions of being hypocritical, and you might think of me as being presumptuous, but it just seems unlikely that there isn't at least one single person out of however many people continuing to frequent this forum that may have retracted on their old self-assurances to not read the spin-off, at least according to the active users list which is showing that the "Naruto Gaiden" topic is the most active.

Expect that Madara was dead for 70~ years. Obito's story would be waste if he wasn't Tobi.

 

The Tobi/Obito story is dumb but I learned to accept it.

Sakura is a fictional character.   And I only said it out of anger, she is still my favorite character.

 

Anyway, I'm very happy that all those SS fanarts I've been seeing about Sasuke, Sarada, and Sakura being a happy family all instantly became OOC with the release of this one chapter.  xD  Happy and angry, because I am still mad that Sakura had to get this pathetic ending.  We all knew Sakura ending up with Sasuke wouldn't be a good thing but Kishimoto goes ahead and does it anyway.  He didn't care what happened to his heroine, Hinata and the fans were more important.

Tobi turning out to be Obito was complete asspull.  All evidence pointed to it being Madara.  The only thing that redeemed it was the Rin story but it was still stupid obvious fanservice.  Madara would've been a better final villain along with Suckske.
