That is all speculation. There's not evidence she was born in the same year. There is just none.
Please, give me an actual indicator that she was born in the same year and I'll concede. The problem is right now everyone is just assuming simply because her birthday comes first. A birthday coming first doesn't indicate being born first, it doesn't work like that.
I think everyone was younger then 11 when they started the academy, in a flashback I remember everyone looking around 8 or 9 years old. I don't get what you mean by being 11.
Agreed. While it's possible she could be older, it's also possible she could be younger.
The databook saying Sasuke was already 16 could bounce to any side. I'm not sure since I've never read it, but did it say he was 16 when he first came back in Part 2, or when Naruto comes back into the picture? One could simply say that enough time had passed to the point that he recently turned 16 when he had first arrived. Now, this wouldn't work if Naruto was already 16 considering A LOT of time would of have to have passed at that point, and that much time hasn't. I mean, it's clear some things are missed, and days/weeks pass but it's really hard to gauge who's older than who without an official time line. I thought she was older, but I need more proof...
The problem is that there's no way to determine when does a Konoha academy year start. We can't just assume they put together all of the kids that are born the same year. We don't really know how they divide the age groups in the academy.
It almost feels like a school system. I was born ALMOST a year after some of the people in my class considering my birthday was in May. Example
July 21, 1988
May 21, 1989
And this is actually a real birthday. LOL Anyway, he was almost a year older than I, and yet we were still in the same year as far as school went.
