So, the division leader of the NFC South is 4-7. Yikes. It's like nobody wants it.
Shades of the 2010 NFC West Division leaders... A team with a losing record hosts a playoff game....
don't mess with my boy steve smith.
Ice up son. Ice up.

Alright Foolish, I guess it was foolish of me to suspect the Lions to play better... any who need the Patriots to beat Green Bay now just cause lol.
Come on Detroit, gotta get your act together 2 days from now against a very beatable Chicago Bears team

So completely out of the blue but I just wanted to post this article here about RG3 and the Redskins offense:
http://www.washingto...dskins-offense/
I played high school football and coached during my freshman year of college. I can't really believe he would miss those sort of reads.
As a football fan, I'm always interested to hear others opinons. If we have any Redskins fans on this board please chime in! Would love to hear your thoughts.

Damn Packers... Anyway, pretty good games on Thanksgiving imo and that's not just because the Lions won. Didn't think the Eagles could march into Texas and literally humiliate them that bad. Seahawks vs 49ers is always a fun match up, Seattle one up them yet again.

Some good games this week. Looking forward to all of them. A lot of playoff seeding implications as well as division leaders....... Hard to believe there will be a possible 6-10 team hosting a playoff game

I doubt Dallas will be so I'll prepared coming into Philadelphia in two weeks. However, we've played well at home this year. So hopefully, we can win a close game.
All the Dallas fans I know expect to lose that game. Sanchez is looking like a competent QB again. Maybe the real problem is Rex Ryan doesn't know how to run an offense.

Rex Ryan and offense should never be put in the same sentence ever again. Dude is gonna get paid as the best DC in the league though.

Wow interest weekend for Football... Lions win, Packers lose, 49ers out of contention. The only obvious is the NFC South still sucks

Did anyone stay up last night to watch the Chargers in OT against the 9ers? What a game, gotta love Saturday night football.
This week the Vikings head into their last two games of the season, and I think if they win the last two, they can be proud of their season. No, an 8-8 record isn't a high mark, but considering what they've had to go through, I was expecting it to be like a roller coaster and that record would be progress when compared to last year.
Making that record would mean the Vikes did it without their starting QB which forced them to use a first year rookie QB and arguably one of the best running backs in the league. For them to come out at .500 and adding to that the development of Bridgewater and the defense guys like Floyd, Barr and Rhodes all getting success would be good to me.
I'm also hoping for a Pittsburgh Steelers win today. Yes, they are my second favorite team in the NFL and I hope they can snag a playoff spot today against KC.

If the Lions win the Super Bowl (yes I know of how highly unlikely it is)... Does that mean Armageddon is upon us?

Lions have a good defense, and that travels
Two great WRs and a QB who has a knack for gamewinning drives. It's the NFL, anything is possible.
If they figure out their running game they could be a dangerous team moving forward.

Would certainly be surprising. When was the last time the Lions had more success than the Wolverines or the Spartans in Michigan? XD
I think their game vs Rodgers and the Pack will be a preview whether they can make it in the playoffs.
For the Vikings, they might as well lose their last game and try to get a speedy wide receiver in the draft. C. Patterson sure hasn't worked out.

Yeah but they are still the Lions. If anyone can find a way to blow it they can.
