Not all movies, let alone anything, can meet its demands. DBZ latest movie failed to meet 4 billion yen, so why all the sudden Naruto got a major shot. It has a chance, sure, but if it fails, it fails.

So how the kitten is this Momoshiki someone Kaguya feared? I thought Kaguya was the original last bad guy before Toneri showed up, but I guess Kishimoto has to make sure the female characters are weaker then all the guys, so this is where this Momoshiki and Lurch come in.

Also, only a few went to the screening just to inform others of how it went and still didn't like it

Not that early screenings are all too important. We underestimated the potential earnings of TL, believing that it would collapse into failure so incredibly that it would have one of the lowest financial profits of any in the series, at least lower than RtN's, and yet the final turnout saw it earn over 2 billion Yen, iirc.

Personally, I'm not going to underestimate this film's ability to ensnare potential viewers like before. I expect it to at least reach 3.0 on the YJ review site with a profit margin somewhere between RtN and TL's.

I'll be honest when I saw the chapter title True End that was my biggest indication that NS and SK would be canon. Especially since they were pralleling each other from like Panel to Panel. That's what still drives me nuts to this day.

It's weird for me to say this, but I use to that NS and SK were like the Renton x Eureka and Dominic x Anemone of Naruto; For those who've seen Eureka Seven you know exactly what I mean when I say this.  They were just perfect for one another and hey unlike NaruSaku and SK who should've been canon at the very least the two main pairings in Eureka Seven actually did become canon.

The same. When I saw the title for that chapter and how it was, it was a clear sign of the future. It was obvious as hell. However since the ending; I have this feeling that Kishi called it The Real End because we lost control and couldn't write the ending that we wanted. So in the end he left us a clue to what were his real intentions. Of course we can just be over thinking it all but the truth is all the things that happened after the ending make no sense. It's all wrong.

And no matter what lies they say about how they planned this from the very beginning, the more stuff that comes out the more we see it wasn't planned at all. The cat is slowly getting out of the bag.

Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.

These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

Yes, I got the same take on this. Let's not underestimate the potential viewers.

At least now we know one measurements of success from the producer: At least 2 million viewers (judging from the freebies they are willing to give).

Correction a bit on statistics: The Last didn't made it to 2 billion yen marks in Japan (as of end of December 2014). It made ~1.75 billion yen, or roughly USD 14.76 million by that time (source: https://en.m.wikiped...aruto_the_Movie). Less than half of what Metantei Conan latest movie made...

The difference this time? This movie will be a true measurements on how many have decided to stay supporting the series and the author, versus how many have left. In addition to how many new viewers started to pick up this series...

Naruto will most likely always have a following, but many seemed to have moved on, with how bad the ending is. I think it will do the same as a regular Naruto movie.( though maybe with less profits because this animation is of a higher quality, plus advertisements.)

It all depends how many people still care enough to actually pay for the movie.

Am I the only one wondering why the hell Naruto, the guy with a crap ton of stamina (plus a big  demon fox inside him giving him it's chakra ) is exhausted due to a normal day of work? I mean, the guy didn't get "tired" when he was fighting for his life back in the war and now he is tired because he's been moving a lot and doing things a normal mayor does?

This movie is a joke

Oh, and of course there would be a good reaction from the early screening because most people there are of course, people who still associate themselves with the series

At this point, there are way too many inconsistencies, unanswered questions, and plot holes to start listing....and the pile keep getting bigger too.

The only question I have left to really sum it all up is this

"What's the point?"

The same. When I saw the title for that chapter and how it was, it was a clear sign of the future. It was obvious as hell.     You forget The Last isn't a financial failure because it didn't make money it that it didn't make enough money. Have you every read gaming news where games sold millions of copies but were still consider a failure because they didn't sell enough? RnT was a success because while it only made about 12 million dollars it only cost to make it was about 4 million. They as far as we know put 12 million dollars if not more into The Last production and were barely able to break even. When they originally hoping the last would be this huge international money maker to make back any money they put into it if not more. Instead SP had to lower the quality of their anime shows to handle the financial lost. As far as we know they desperate for Bolt to be a success because they are still reeling from their financial losses. Once again not a failure because it didn't make money but it didn't make enough money.

By the time it left the theaters in Japan it made about $16 mil then made a couple hundred thousands in a few countries.

that healing and punching mooks are side characters duty.

in kishi's story the heroine have a duty to fail for drama's sake.

which is worse?

I don't think healing and punching mook is a side character duty.

Wait how would that item Bolt use to mimic lighting jutsu be consider cheating? It's a weapon. The rules seemed very loose on what you can use as long as you don't have another person helping you in battle. Wouldn't it be consider to be a good thing to use weapons like to surprise you're opponent and give you the edge or something?

So um....the movie basically shows Naruto as a bigger loser than the genin tests where he got himself tied to a log? Seriously he can fight an entire army with multiple S class enemies, dies get revived in a 24 hour period without sleeping, yet a bit of paperwork gets causes him to collapse? I'm sure Shizune said he also had a habit of fainting as well.

Boruto spends the whole time wanking over Sasuke making him another person who fall for Sasuke for no reason whatsover? Cheats dispite getting training from his dad, Konohamaru (who i'm guessing taught him Rasengan) and Sasuke)

Hinata is a housemaid. Sakura is...still a fangirl?

The enemies that Kaguya created an army for seem to be weaker than Kaguya.

Orichimaru is Mitsuki's mother or father or both, Seriously the son of the most notirious criminal is allowed in the same team as two children that have DNA of families he has shown interest in? Yeah that makes sense....typical Kishi the bigger the criminal the more he tries to make them out to be a hero.

think about it, Kaguya actually appears to be doing what she was for a noble reason, yet she's portrayed as a heartless kitten, yet Madara, Obito, Orichimaru are all made outto be misunderstood villains.

I didn't think the movie could sound worst than the Last but from the spoilers, Boruto sounds like it makes the Last look like an oscar winning movie.

Man, I really hope this is the truth.

To quote well myself " When you take in consideration how disconnected the movie is from the actual manga, it’s not really that farfetched to say that Kishi was doing his manga while SP were busy doing the movie, and one day the two collided. SP showed him the movie and Kishi was like "What is this?" and SP's answer was "Well we already did the movie so STFU and adapt to it.” And Kishi being the coward that he said “Ok” and went along with it. I mean for God’s sake they went to the moon.  In the movie Konohamaru has blue eyes, he has blue eyes. Konohamaru doesn’t have blue eyes."

Yup using a Ninja Dog is allowed, using performance enhancing drugs is legal, using a weapon to enhance your element is allowed, carrying a scroll with thousands of weapons sealed in side is allowed but a element mimicking weapon is not allowed...that makes so much sense...not.

This is obviously a rule written by the pure blooded snobs who don't want their advanced bloodline limits be shown up by the latest technology.

If i were to guess Bolt movie was probably original just going to be about Bolt training for and taking the chunin exam in order to get his father's notice. In order to do that he asked Sasuke to take him as an apprentice and from there we go. But after all the negative reactions they been getting they kept editing it by adding it a new villain, adding more focus to Sasuke, and adding more action scene in general till eventually it became an action movie with a heavy Sasuke focus that take up much of the screen time.

So for the truth I think Kishi has got increasingly bitter over the months and if Bolt flops he may eventually just reveal the truth out right.
