Oh, there's no question that Kishi is reciting a party line for the sake of the film and the future spin-off. My comment was only meant to indulge in the newly behind-the-scenes "insight" into his writing methods.

Off the record, the theory that I'm remaining by to explain this horrible twist is that he either succumbed or was forced into a pact with the executives/publishers/Pierrot for the sake of future licensing of the series with a concept that they believed would be more appealing to readers and viewers than what Kishi's original vision might have been.

My brother believe ( he don't even follow Naruto just seen a few episode, but I make him read the ending a give him information about the movie, he can believe how this story turn out  OOC character, and all the Hinata promotion in the movie lol) that if the movie don't sell so well and people react negatively toward it and if their spinoff or part 3 series flop too, if Kishi got a little pride as an author, he might do the ending he did intent for Naruto.

 

I answer him that I don't believe that would be the case, though when you mess something up and people react in majority, who knows.

 

Movie mess up badly to make it a bad romance plot instead of a story about the character and kickass ninja action. (Naruto is still a shonen, not a bad shojo to justify a bad idea to begin with)

Probably. Since it was the Kakashi and a Sasuke fans who were trolled the most and they have the biggest fanbase.

I didn't read much about Junko's part. They say that she was a NS fan and she was forced in doing something she didn't want to do or something like that. They were also saying something about her comment saying she doesn't understand how guys can like that type of girl(=Hinata) or something. I didn't read thoroughly so I'm not so sure.

A potential thickening of the conspiracy theory? It's no lie that Junko found the ending, both in the movie and manga, to be appallingly different than what she probably assumed would happen. We know that there's certain bits and pieces from her interview that seem to give a more ambiguous impression towards the movie like the writing off of Hinata's affections as "cute" and "single-minded". There's no profoundly expressive speech about what she thinks of the romance between NH. She may not have even wanted to give the interview, but she might have been under some pressure to give a positive reception about the movie's plot.

I can't remember where Junko gave such an open remark about her true feelings regarding the movie though. Whether it exists or not, the fact that Japanese fandom has picked up on it is a clear indicator that Hinata's irritating moe archetype isn't being held in such high regard as some circles might lead others to believe.

Nah, Kishi's self-insert wish fulfillment character has always been Sasuke (which is why he got the girl in the end).

I wouldn't have anything against Kishimoto confessing that he somehow (wether it be through coercion or because he had a lapse in judgment) kittened up and intents to recitify his mistake. In fact i would say that he even gained a little respect back.

 

On the other hand i'd rather like that Kishimoto completely rewrites the story into something more mature and complex (ie. multiple romances and not 'one true love'), a bit darker but still keeping the lightheartedness of the original. Without powerescalation and mokuton-cell clones or moon aliens (Kaguya and her ilk) but it's 100% sure that that will never happen.

Omg! That's what I've been thinking (click here). The difference is I want "true ending". All these years and he twists it like that.. it's still unbelieveable. But better not be with SJ or SP.

is all based on a rivalry. Where is the logic in this? Fine so emotionals aren't always logical, where is the catalyst for these feelings? If he gave up then why give us 631, Databook 4 and the CPR? If she never loved him than why the "Honest" confession, the Naruto is close to her heart, and the moments where Sakura showed romantic feelings for him A.K.A. the intro of part 2 where she thought he looked handsome and blushed, yamato, the feeding scene, the hug, the jealousy whenever she noticed Hinata's feelings?

The lie was when it said Naruto love Sakura for rivalry. You're right, t doesn't even make sense even if I tried to believe it. I'm not taking the NS development into account.

 

Why Sakura then?

Last time I checked, Naruto was the one wanting Sakura before they were even in a team.

Sasuke never care about Sakura or any girl in the manga. But here's the killer .

Sakura wasn't the only girl aiming for Sasuke. (If she were, that would make some kind of sense)

If it were for rival purpose only, Naruto wouldn't need to  focus solely on Sakura. He would have tried to won Ino over, Karin Over and every fangirl of the manga for Sasuke over. At least once . That is kitten.

 

Kishi just plain lie in those interview, just reread the bench scene, where Naruto is in his mind( you don't lie to yourself in your mind, he was thinking about, I nailed her before Sasuke, he understand why he like her, because she was like him. Smell the rivalry here right? )

 

Kishi just don't get that the worst time you can lie is when you written everything on paper. Nothing make sense meaning, it's change for the worst because he didn't follow his original idea and lie he way .

2 weeks ago he believe he said they were both in love but he didn't want Sakura to be cruel to Hinata. (though e portray in pain scene how Hinata was smiling at seing Naruto with her. If he believe that, he would have drown the same expression Naruto has whe Sakura ask him for the POALT. Naruto was hurt there, we can al see it and feel it. But he try to help her anyway. ) Plus Sakura may have talk directly to Hinata like what, once in the manga, possibly twice.

 

Then a week later, NS was meant to be a bro/sis relationship. Bro think about their sister in their dream, imagining themselves kiss her, tried to peek during they are in the of spring. Sis ask about how they look as women to their brother, while blushing with that kind of expression or directly confess to him.

 

I believe those are the lies of the story. WE'VE BEEN CHEATED :(.
