Yes my username reflects the sacrifice that Naruto has made for Sakura in respecting her feelings at the cost of his own.

Regarding Sasuke's return I don't think it is a purely negative thing for either the story or for NaruSaku. Even if Sasuke ends up doing something heroic or touching on Sakura's behalf. It would not be in Sakura's character to suddenly rush to his side and forget her feelings for Naruto. Yes she still loves Sasuke but I strongly suspect at this point she loves Naruto more. She is simply unaware of her actual feelings.

The Sasuke she loves is a ghost from her past that she needs to exorcise. She needs to see him in a state of redemption and clarity and understand deep in herself who she truly loves and who has been there for her in her moments of greatest pain and need. Naruto as well needs to see this, for until he does he will forever be unsure of Sakura's lingering feelings for Sasuke.

Let's also not forget that Naruto has made it clear that he will not even attempt to confess his feelings to Sakura until he has accomplished what he promised and brings Sasuke back. That is his ninja way. Sakura may have forgiven the terms of the promise but Naruto has not forgotten them. He feels he owes it to both Sakura and to himself.

While I understand why you did this, it is kinda getting annoying now. Bag over did it to the point where I don't want anybody joking about jumping ship anymore. I understand. I guess you can just ask rather make a roleplay. But sometimes, doing a roleplay can get us to put more effort on writings. It's as if he were to convert to something else, we go all emergency mode and pull out our post skills in action. It's not to say that we must convert that person to NS, but we like a challenge. I didn't mind this, though no need to roleplay. Just ask and we will reply.

Not sure how all the avatar stuff can be used an analogy but ok?

I mean there is better out there though for making analogies though they don't count as evidence, even then the manga is in our favor for development.

I think Chatte recently put up some info about the actual Chinese mythology for heaven and earth bringing order to chaos. (and we see this chaos as the ten tails in the current setting)

Heck there is a line from the halo series which kinda fits Naruto's whole relation and love for sakura: "Never make a girl a promise if you know you can't keep it." Not saying its evidence, just one that can highly relate to Naruto's character and situation for Sakura.

For NaruSaku, its the struggle Naruto and Sakura and how they have heavily impacted each other and should Naruto succeed with Sakura and Sakura accept Naruto as more than a friend that makes it all the more rewarding, I feel that their relation is just strong already because they feel unworthy of each other which just makes it that much more rewarding should it come canon, they would realize that though they cause each other pain, they also are sources of each other's strength and do more good than bad on each other. Heck there are too many reasons to enjoy NaruSaku you cannot count them all.

It was a nice read. Thanks for sharing. I think that was played when he fought Gaara because Naruto talked about the ones that saved his life and he will never let them go. Each panel with them individual represents different bond. You can reread it and it's true. Once he finished talking about them, he went head on and suddenly got incredibly powerful because Sakura was the one in danger as well as his love plays a heavy role in there. Always have. I didn't notice but Naruto was really quick to action when Karui stick her sword at Sakura. Anyway, it's always been this and nothing is going to change. Heck, her big fear is to let her down according to Itachi's genjutsu. I don't know, nothing is convincing me about other pairings. Sorry.

... but I agree with him / her, I think Konohamaru will surpass Naruto in some way, because "the new generation will always surpass the previous one" and we all know that Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon are like the new team 7 (without all the drama, of course), Naruto will be the one who will break the curse of hatred, save the ninja world and put his name in history ... he will never be forgotten, but that doesn't mean he will never be surpassed. He will leave the way open for Konohamaru make his legacy too, because in the same way that Naruto wants surpass all the previously hokages, Konohamaru wants that too and I think he will succeed at it.

but this isn't just avatar stuff, this is about the 7 chakras (a subject that Kishimoto must have studied hard to be able to write Naruto) as he/she said, he/she used the avatar quotes because they are easier to understand. I don't think it's just a coincidence that every hokage is equivalent to one type of chakra, as I said, Kishi must have studied a lot about this issue so I really don't believe that all this is just a coincidence. I think this post adds more understanding about the story as a whole, but it's good to know that Sakura, somehow, it's the one that can help Naruto in his weakness.

Well, of course. Why do you think I will rage if other pairings happen? It's not just NS fan in me, rather the general fan in me. It's been proven dozens of time that NS flows with the story perfectly well and hardly feels force at all.
