I did not read the last 80 pages of the thread. Is there anybody chivalrous that will tell me what the general reaction was? Were theaters full? are people flippin' angry? (please let them be angry).

 

What about Sakura? What they did to her? Had she any interaction with the Sauce? 

 

 

(No matter what, we are still the best fandom, and if this movie has garnered as negative reactions as I think it has this can only be positive for us)

Hinata becoming a silver medal was a better option than a main character being called a scumbag. Even Sakura haters are making semi-long posts of how they now suddenly feel sorry for Sakura and saying that she was only used for Naruto's ill fantasies and the real bad character was Naruto

Is making Hinata into an unconvincing gold medal worth increasing this hate on Naruto? Reading all those Naruto bashing comments gave me a headache

So much ill feeling over the lack of Kakashi and Sasuke exposure in the movie. They may be popular characters with consistently active involvement in the combat elements of the manga, but there are so many other faults, injustices, and inconsistencies to rail against with this movie. Naruto's inexplicable 180 degree turn in his personality, Hinata's horribly overbearing presence throughout the movie, and last but certainly not least, the heroine status - after so many years with Kishi having gone on-record as to defend Sakura's right to the status - being casually handed off to a girl who has never held the title and whose presence has spat on many years worth of narrative telling and emotional investments with the fans.

 

Edit: That is what everyone should be directing their frustration against, in my opinion.

You know Naruto's relationship with Sakura was always one of the best parts about his character. He just doesn't feel like Naruto to me once that part of him is gone. I can understand the hate towards him honestly.
