How, exactly? All that did was show that no matter what Naruto did for Sakura or how close they were, she would never fall for him.

 

1.) After the Land of Iron affair you'd need a confrontation between Naruto and Sakura. Naruto in his anger does let his love for her slip while Sakura admits that she loves both Naruto and Sasuke and doesn't know what to think anymore (which is apparently true).

 

2.) The love letter scene with that kumo-nin. All you'd have to change is adding Naruto to the brooding-sakura part (where she thinks of Sasuke, right before Zetsu-Neji makes his entrance).

 

3.) When Sasuke declares his grand plan for "Revolution" and Sakura spills her guts. Change it into Sakura's view of Sasuke completely shattered, that he truly isn't the man she loved anymore or even never was.

 

4.) After the Naruto-Sasuke fight. Sakura forgives Sasuke in the end but it will be a long time until she can trust Sasuke to even guard her back on missions. NS happens.

 

There. A passable NaruSaku ending. I think that was too easy or to obvious for Kishi to make it so (probably because you'd need something like 1.) and Kishi is too awkward for romance).

what trully kill it is there are no continuation. it's part team seven drama. like sasuke madness, naruto wimpiness, and sakura lieness lol.

that's why i believe it will solve in the war arc. oh boy how wrong i am.

 

that's i said, if kishi intend to kill ns, do it in sakura confession. 

by making naruto neutral(doesn't romantically love anyone) will not damage the romantic subplot. and he doesn't need to make retcon the movie.

That's just ignoring the fake confession happened, not using it as a catalyst. The right thing to do is have none of that drama, just wait for Naruto himself to confess once Sasuke was back. Then she would be able to choose properly.

特典ポスター詐欺なんて今までもそうだったろとは言うが、今までもそうだったなーうん納得したとはならん
特典もポスターもナルヒナにすりゃいいのに売れないからとか、売れないもんが最後の映画のメインになってるってことになるんだが

People say that the privileges fraud always existed but you don't go "Yeah, I accept it!" by that
They should have made all the privileges into NH but they say they can't because the tickets won't sell. But that means that they are making something that doesn't sell into the main of the movie.

特典をサスケカカシにしたなら
こいつらを使えば売れる出番があれば喜ぶ奴が大勢いるってことは分かってたわけだよな
それをわかった上で出番2分と文字通りのカカシにするって悪意すら感じるな

ポスターやメインビジュアルでもヒナタと同じ大きさでサクラや同期が書かれてて
最後だからと見に来る層は同じとはいかなくてもそれなりの活躍を期待したろうに
ヒナタにだけ原作にもなかった設定盛ってマフラー編みで無駄尺取って
他のキャラは添え物かカップル応援するだけの役で原作の謎は放置って
これ最後と銘打った映画でやることじゃないだろ

They knew this and they made Sasuke appear only for two seconds and that Kakashi scene.
I feel like they had ill intentions.

Even in the poster and the main visual the rookies were drawn in the same size as Hinata
The people who are going to watch the movie because it's the last would have expected more actions
They made only Hinata have some story that was not in canon and made her knit a scarf which was a waste of time
The other characters are just there like ornaments and they ignored the unresolved plot points of canon manga
This isn't something you do in a movie you call the last

サスケファンとカカシファンがかわいそうです、さすがに
前売りやグッズでお金使わせておいて登場時間が90秒とか棒立ちとか
ブックカバーの台詞もムリヤリ売る為に持ってきたと考えると笑える

With such an ill intended way of sales, even though they fixed some parts due to the bad response from the people watching the screening, it would have ended badly

ポスターに出て前売りグッズに出て
映画関連グッズには大体いるキャラの
登場時間が一分程度でセリフは一言だけとかさ
他の作品では当たり前なの

Of course they won't realize the difference of personalities and settings with the canon version so they are happy in their own thread

Well to be honest I think that's where he decided to kill NS. I just don't know why he wanted to keep misleading us until the end.

If that was the case he should have clarified in the manga, that the confession and subsequent speech about Naruto being closer to and not wanting Naruto to save Sasuke was mutually exclusive. But I forget..... He was too embarrassed to write romance  .

 

Having Naruto say "I hate people who lie to themselves" after they professed their feelings for you is just asking for a misinterpretation. Which, lo and behold, is exactly what happened. When you drop a bombshell of "I Love You", it's a friggin' bombshell and naturally everything the reader interprets is through that lens. Ergo Sakura Confession -> I hate people who lie to themselves -> People thinking Sakura is lying. I feel like any halfway decent writer can see possible future pitfalls when writing fiction and adjust accordingly. It's like taking a step back and overseeing the world, somewhat of an out of body experience, where you see things as a neutral entity that is not biased towards anything. I try telling people this and am astounded by how many individuals lack this ability as it is critical in evaluating one's self. This also kind of ties into the fact that Kishimoto has been drawing this manga for 15 years straight and has never truly taken a hiatus, to "self scout" and see how the story is developing and if it matches the ending he planned out in the beginning. 

 

With all this being said I severely overestimated Kishi as a writer.

Sai was a liability to NS. He screwed us over so bad by him saying that to Sakura, which triggered the fake confession. It should have been Naruto's place to tell her that he loved her.
