Why does it seem like people make the assumption that Sakura couldn't be in love with both boys at the same time? I mean, the way people are expressing their thoughts it seems like they have this underlying factor that Sakura either has no feelings for Naruto and all feelings for Sasuke....or she has no feelings for Sasuke and all the feelings for Naruto. It is possible she loved both of them, but was unable to let go of Sasuke until she saw him for herself. Until she knew that Sasuke was not the right person for her.

 

Both Jiraiya and Sakura herself have both expressed how complicated a woman's hearts are and that Naruto never really understood that.

 

Look at Tsunade. It heavily hints that she loved both Dan and Jiraiya, but Dan was the first to be with her.

Honestly, I think if Naruto were mentioned here, only saying that he and Sakura are now good friends, I would think that no pairing chance would increase a lot. So I'm happy it didn't get mentioned.

Are you sure the painful expression was because she was about to kill Sasuke which Naruto won't like and not because she played a false confession on him? But the other way round, if 'I love you Naruto' is true then that rules out the later part I mentioned! I think, we should be patient for some more time since I feel that the way things will unfold, it will give answers to all our questions.

Well she was about to do something that would maybe made Naruto hate her  "the sorry" comes after Naruto says that he still wants to save Sasuke , and like i said imo the confession was true what convinced me of that is her facial expression as she hugs him and says why she loves him and most of all the moment as she's about to say "Naruto from the bottom of my heart I......" while she's doing this she looks so peaceful and she's blushing like crazy not to mention this moment also gets cut of as well as the many other moments plus that the entire confession starts with the second time when she says that she loves him the first time she said that wasn't shown to us it was again cut of . The lie was that she didn't care about Sasuke anymore which is confirmed even in this chapter by Kakashi The reason why Naruto didn't believed her was also because he didn't see her face while she was hugging him and blushing and saying why did she loves him but guess who did see her face and who made comment upon it ? Yep that's right Kakashi which is why i think that what happen now in 675 is connected from all that happen in the land of iron and its all coming to a full circle its also the reason why there was no comment from Kakshi about Sakura's dislikes that part wasn't brought up on purpose and we all know why . All in all i think the confession was true but she still had some lingering feelings for Sasuke but at that point she wasn't in love with Sasuke anymore imo. But as you say its better to wait and see how things will unfold but for now this my interpretation .

 

Not sure. They are meant for something that we put the clues for ourselves. They're meant like a kiss scene almost happening, only for one person to disrupt.

Yes I know that they are meant for the reader to put the clues as you say , but I don't know why but i have this feeling that all of the important cut of NS scenes like the Yamato,Sai comments and the Bench and the confession scene will be brought up again when Sakura realizes her feelings you know it will be like a flashback of all those scenes all of them coming to a full circle . I guess will wait and see how things go on from now on .

It's possible because in here, doing a huge recap of everything usually result in a revelation to the character. Like Sasuke, when he had a huge recap of Itachi, all the developments amounted to keep the way things are rather than tarnish everything. For Sakura with Naruto, it's possible to do the same. I mean it's a hell of a transformation.

To keeping the love triangle status quo alive, kishi need to make any point arrow toward naruto->sakura and sakura->naruto remain ambigue.

Yes that is what i initially thought like Sasuke's flashback of Itachi  if it were to go page by page then dear god that would be material worth of one or two chapters .

I think Kishi's made it pretty clear

She is in love with Naruto and is atleast slightly aware of these feelings (since Kishi said her confession was honest)

She doesn't trust Sasuke but still considers him one of her closest friends and believes I to be her duty to save him from darkness (like Naruto)

No matter how Kishimoto set it up, how it unfolded, or whatever Kishimoto said he was depicting a honest girl. I don't know why people continue to debate over it, but it doesn't change the fact.

I just find humor in the irony of things. It's one thing to "play it safe" I guess, but what happens when "playing it safe" causes you to see things that aren't what they are supposed to be? Like you are too paranoid to the point that you start reading things wrong. Any way you feel about this manga, whether it be optimistic, pessimistic, playing it safe, not caring...all of it tends to lead down the road of paranoia and illusions. I think it goes too far when one keeps automatically jumping to the negative aspect if things without actually really looking at something.

Am I the only one here who thinks that Sakura isn't in love with Sasuke anymore, not because of how dark Sasuke has become, but because she gradually fell in love with Naruto?

I have a hard time believing that she fell out of love with Sasuke because he is bad. Naruto and Sakura are characters that won't change the view of their loved ones because they became 'bad'. I tend to think that Naruto's existence is what lead her to fall out of love with Sasuke. Naruto's existence in Sakura's heart became so important, so big, that there wasn't a place for Sasuke anymore.

That's just my interpretation.
