Today's episode: 8.5 out of 10

The animation- meh, like always. SP better step the game up soon.

I feel for Takizawa. His breakdown was well animated in my eyes.

Izumi and Koma! For some reason, this episode made me care about them a lot more.

I cannot believe that Touka is coming to Anteiku. Literally one of the biggest changes b/w Anime and Manga in my eyes. This can only mean that she will meet Kaneki one more time.

... So will we ever find out why Kaneki joined Aogiri?

EDIT: Btw, I think Touka's voice actress did an extremely good job this time.

So we all know that Touka is not supposed to be there at the Anteiku Raid. I just read a comment from one of the youtubers, and what he says makes actually sense

This was the first promotional picture for :re. That person predicted that it is actually Touka he is holding in his arms. What do you think? What's the possibility that Touka will die? Now that I reflect back at that Touka scene, I feel like her contemplating about the people in her life... set up a deathflag for her. The reason why I believe Touka might die is b/c there will be no season 3 for sure if Touka dies. Like, :re ain't gonna make sense w/out Touka. Ishida purposely creates an ending that will allow a true adaptation in the future.

Animation was good during some points tho in others it looked sh*tty as always, SP will probably use the rest of their budget to make this ending look amazing ( I hope)

 

Yoshimura is an epic old bastard too, his speech made me shiver

 

Touka's death flags are really high, that picture of the promo too, man I have a bad feeling about this. But Ayato isnt half killed in this one, maybe he will play some part in the raid

 

I think its obvious why he joined Aogiri, to make the story more adaptable to 12 episodes. Its annoying because even if he joined we didn't got any information on what they want/ how they work...guess Ishida wants to leave this for :Re

 

Tsukiyama voice actor also was amazing ( as always)

The animation was definitely better, but overall, it was mediocre at its best. I love the music in this episode though!

Yup! Deathflags set high for her. I completely forgot about this promotional picture until I saw that comment. I'm sure to 70% that Touka will die- which will be sad but a very interesting move from Ishida.

I honestly was hoping to see more of the inside in Aogiri Tree, but nope. I don't even feel for Kaneki in this anime. I felt so distanced from him- it's sad, but I understand what you were trying to explain.

That's Mamoru Miyano for you. He always does a good job.

Haha I know, truth is I actually watch Miraii Nikki the week Obito's death came out, odd timing but I was geniuenly sad when he died so I needed to watch something else to escape from the sadness. and Miraii Nikki helped the funny thing I was this close to watching Tokyo Ghoul during that week too, but stupid reason back then I held it off because I guess the way it was animated and from what I heard about from various people were watching the anime said it wasn't that good. Which I'm not gonna lie it wasn't that good was it out right disgusting, no I think if we're counting Season 1 it's decent at best, Season 2 so far has been kinda sub-par at best but who knows these final 3 episodes could change my verdict on how I've been feeling about Season 2.
