Could it be that Byakuyo is a mixture of Uzumaki sealing techniques (chakra gathering + it's sealing) plus modified Slug Sage Mode?

I think Byakugo is a weaker version of Slug Sage Mode. Kind of similar to Jiraiya's sage mode. Jiraiya wasn't able to balance his chakra with natural energy which lead him to use imperfect Sage Mode. The perfection of Sage Mode was left to his student Naruto. 

 

I think the similar can be said here. Sakura, with her perfect chakra control may be able to perfect Sage Mode that Tsunade wasn't able to complete. If she ever uses Slug Sage Mode that is.

The reason why I think Uzumaki's techniques can be involved in creating byakugo is that pic of Mito, who has the same diamond symbol as Tsunade on her forehead + she's her grandma. While Hashirama was teaching his granddaughter to ramble, the grandma could've taught her something useful, lol.

Rikudou Mode. Basically, what Naruto has. There was a set of fanarts of Naruto thinking he's great with that mode until his dad showed off. Then, Sakura left a cliffhanger of her ready to show off something new, which turned out to be Rikudou Mode as well.

s I said before, it's a mixture of Uzumaki seals + Senju regenerative abilities.

In the seal you keep the chakra needed to activate the jutsu and then, well, you activate it.

 

And as I said, yes, Byakugo in terms of Sage Mode, so to speak, is a copycat of Hashi's wood sage mode.

Probably Tsunade didn't master it or didn't want to, or it was too late given her history of how she wanted to quit as a Med. Ninja but then she came back and wanted to do something quick. Hence, Byakugo.

And Sakura getting SSM well... that would ocme into full circle with the previous generation surpassing the old one.

The fact that Minato also has Rikudo mode tells me that the Rikudo's soul is sealed inside Kurama. Both the yin and yan chakra, and not Naruto himself. But it would be cooler if Minato's form was different than Naruto's because their chakra are opposites.

 

It makes me even more confused, how is Naruto the chosen one now that Minato looks the same.. Maybe it's another plothole. XD

 

And I have kind off gotten used to the idea of a SSM for Sakura. It will increase her overall abilities, and her destructive power is already great. I can picture Naruto being impressed and frightened at the same time lol! XD

Maybe Namikaze is Rikudou's bloodline! I don't know but yeah, I thought Naruto is unique with that mode. So yeah, I'm a little confused there.

You know, I heard a theory that Rikudo's chakra is sealed inside all the tailed beast, and the reason the Juubi reacted so disraught is because it felt Rikudo's essense manifesting itself within Naruto, as you remember that Naruto received chakra from the tailed beast...excluding the Hachibi, and the reason it hasn't manifested itself is because the other half of Kurama's chakra is within Minato [Ironically he showed up, so maybe he will give that half back to Kurama] and the other is that the Hachibi wasn't present during the conversation...but you know Bee, he will probably be willing to share with Naruto considering how tight those two are. Ounce this happens the Rikudo will manifest itself inside Naruto sub, and will tell his tale, and give him the key to seal the 10 tails back.
