As I think about it I wonder if Kurama's other chakra half really is inside of Minato.
If I recall correctly in 618 Orochimaru got his arms' souls back from the Shinigami before he was able to summon the Hokages. That means that his arms' souls were completely separated from Hiruzen's soul.
By that logic Minato's soul isn't fused either with Kurama's chakra. Whether Kurama's chakra got out or is still inside the Shinigami is up for speculation, but it acutally doesn't make sense that it's inside of Minato. Then again Kishi could make it so any way just for the hell of it.

But if Minato's present maybe isn't the chakra then what could it be? I think Rikudo said that maybe Minato was referring to himself as the present, but that he wasn't too sure.
I would love if the present was actually Edo-Kushina, and then Naruto could have a complete family reunion. Minato would probably figure that Kushina would re-kill him once they meet in the afterlife for being able to see their son while she stayed there, so he'd rather bring her along as well.

Of course unless they randomly find themselves a Zetsu I'm not sure if it would be possible. Oh well.

What was your theory, that Sakura would have to spend the rest of her life keeping Naruto in check or sakura would take the other half of the kyubbi chakra????

Not really my theory but a fun one. Can it happen? Who knows.
Let's just say hypothetically, if Naruto and Sakura did take out Juubi together, with maybe after one powerup for Naruto, courtesy by Minato, would could give the other half or something, and Sakura is like glue to Naruto to keep healing 24/7, how would you honestly feel? From general fan and NS fan pov? I know it's unlikely, but let's just have with it.

Hmm if it did happen... I guess I wouldn't mind it, but again, it would feel a little forced.

I would feel that it's very, very much like the story I'm writing.

Lol don't take it too literally. Basically I'm saying she got his back until the battle is won, hence like glue. Ok, remember that chapter where they all split into two teams and medics were like on their back and all. Well, if Naruto can maintain the force (here it comes), then Sakura won't leave his side. Get it? Lol 24/7. Everyone needs a break from anything.
Good to know.

Ok. Don't worry, I made it confusing. Let's see:
Minato saved both Naruto and Sakura since Sakura tried to heal him before Juubi kills him. Minato gives him something (insert anything). Naruto is all fired up and Kuruma is ready to take it out. Sakura suggested that she will be on his side so he can always feel fresh after doing a jutsu or two. If he gets damaged, he will get recovered thanks to Sakura. Think as auto-regen.

From episode 235 of shippuden, though its a filler, Naruto mentions how he is still in love with Sakura, why he fell for her, and how he wishes she would choose him but all that matters is her happiness and he does not have the ability to confess to her yet (the promise and Sasuke not being back).
Now this gave me a good question: Someone once said that when the anime team makes the fillers, they need to do so long as it does not conflict with the canon material. The only conflict between Manga and Anime is when Naruto first met Utakata, he knows him in the anime but the manga he meets for the first time with the others like Yagura and so on.
We know why Naruto was able to explain his love in this filler, it was just a situation and he could confess to a filler character. But the fact that the anime team did this, does this mean that if they had done otherwise, such if Naruto referred to his love in the past tense, could that have been taken as a conflict with canon? No clear answer has come from the manga and this is not trying to make a filler into proof (cause it does not count) but isn't this a rule the anime team must work by? No conflicts to canon material? So if they had put Naruto as used to loving Sakura, would that have been an issue?
Any thoughts?

The whole "gift from Minato" thing got me thinking too. To me, it probably just means that Naruto will get too see his father again, not get any power-up. Either way, why would he need the other half of Kurama's chakra?

And I think the sealing of Kurama was different than the sealing of Orochimaru's arms because his arms' souls were actually sealed, instead of just his chakra. So since Kurama didn't lose his soul, just his chakra, perhaps Minato has the other half inside him.
@StriderC I think KnS is referring to his story Wilderness. I could be wrong though.

So Sakura would be the equivalent of the infinite health cheat codes.

Well, the anime team did say that Sakura used to love Sasuke as well as SJ magazine, but I don't know. It's hard to say for now because of the situation we're in. If Sasuke come and somehow Sakura says outloud that she's no longer in love, well then, I should take anime into consideration then. That said it does sound like the anime knows the situation of the manga, but maybe they don't. Still, they do know what's up and they do know what's considered important, which as of late parallels is a legit thought into consideration. They are truly sold on NS, that I do wonder why. Could it be that they know it like how Fairy Tail anime knows it, even though it's easy to tell? I don't know.
I'll be honest, even if anime does go all anti-NS, I'll still think the same thing as above. I'm no hypocrite on this stuff. But what's funny is that the anime studio got interviewed about their work and they say that they are doing their best to keep it consistent to the manga and so far they claimed that nothing hasn't gone wrong yet. So what does that mean? I have no clue. I will say this: every media I see, it points to NS. So are we missing something or are we just getting lucky with nice fanservices? I don't know. The best answer is really I don't know. Can it change? Yes. By the end of manga/anime.
