I am sorry, I still cannot control my laughter. I think I made a wise decision to ship NS and join only this site. God knows what would have happened if I had signed up on other websites you said.

I don't understand how SS can think of "Sasuke is jealous because Sakura ignored him and kept talking to Naruto" as a good thing. This statement itself is absurd, but even if it was true, shouldn't they be threatened with the fact that Sakura only had positive interactions with Naruto, even with Sasuke nearby?

I find it to be more realistic that Sasuke is talking to Naruto because he's jealous of himself....that alone makes more sense than him suddenly feeling clingy to a girl he's been treating like crap the whole series....except that one time in the beginning when he pointed out how perceptive she was but that was like back before the chunnin exams.

To me, there is no jealousy at all. Sasuke was just upset because Naruto didn't listen what he was told to do, as usual.

I've never taken any opinion of Sasuke having feelings for Sasuke seriously. It's ridiculous how desperate the SS fandom is. Even Sasuke even slightly looks Sakura's way, smirks, or says her name, it's apparently a Sasuke ---> Sakura moment. I bet every SasuSaku fan got excited just by Sasuke asking why Sakura showed up out of nowhere. And the SS celebration over 675 ... I feel bad for them honestly. Their ship just died and they don't even see it. It's gonna hurt like a mother**cker when NS's endgame. 

 

Anyway. I'm in a very good mood with the death of SS and how close NS is to canon now, but there is something I'm still questioning. It turns out I was wrong and Sakura doesn't have romantic feelings/love for Sasuke anymore. I can see that. Sakura loves him platonically now, but that still begs the question. What about 540? Why did she think of Sasuke over someone she loves being a great guy with a guilty expression??

 

SS may be dead, but I feel like things are more complicated than they look. 540 still somewhat contradicts Kakashi's monologue and that says to me that Sakura still has conflict. I think Sakura doesn't love Sasuke anymore, but she might still believe she does. That's why the NaruSakuSasu love triangle still needs resolution. I say this because lately I've been getting really confused and conflicted vibes off Sakura when it comes to Sasuke. Like she almost doesn't know what she feels for him. Maybe she's just anxious, but I really believe she's getting confused. Maybe being around Naruto and Sasuke at the same time is messing with her head a little. A lot's changed and she hasn't fully absorbed it??

 

What do you guys think? Is it possible that 540 proved Sakura believes she loves Sasuke still when she really doesn't? Because I feel as if Kakashi's missile at SS, though killing the ship, is making this all too easy.

I know it was a joke when I said he was jealous of himself I was referring to Sasuke being jealous of Sasuke (it was a joke directed to how full of himself he was)

I agree with you xxRomanceGirlxx. I've been saying this from the beginning. Sakura isn't in love with Sasuke, but she thinks she is. Kakashi's monologue only goes to show that it's clear from the third person's perspective where her feelings are, but the actual person herself doesn't realize it. Therefore, chapter 540 doesn't contradict with Kakashi's monologue. It's only the question of whether you realize it or not.

What do you mean Sasuke loving Sasuke is more probable than Sasuke loving Sakura? Sasuke loving Sasuke has been canon since chapter 3.

Kakashi's monologue sort of implies that she is aware of it. Otherwise he would have stated that she thinks she's in love with him or atleast saying it differently than doing it for the sole purpose of him being her friend and that its her duty.

Still Kakashi wasn't there for 540 so its not like it matters (I still think 540 is debatable and that people are mostly misinterpreting it like they did with the confession)

Yesterday's manga almost felt like the reverse countdown for NS to go canon has started. As in, now the canon time is coming nearer. The way Kishi showed Naruto and Sakura's interaction AGAINST Sasuke and how more or less he immediately gave resolution to her feelings, its something which cannot go unnoticed. She had Sasuke over there, her love(crush ) since god knows how many years and it was just Kakashi and Naruto there and yet she just interacted with Naruto! That too, we all saw how the interactions were! It almost feels like the manga/war has been uplifted to its last final stage now and its almost time for the resolution of feelings. Yesterday's manga was like a foundation which Kishi built to make NS canon in future. For Sakura its like she thinks/her mind says she loves Sasuke, but her heart is all set on Naruto. And that's why even now when SHE THINKS she loves Sasuke, she cannot speak a word to him and immediately when Naruto enters, he's the guy she was looking for! Sakura to me is a classic case of 'The heart clearly sees what the mind is unable to think'. Her mind tells her she loves Sasuke but her sub-conscious is already on Naruto. And the moment Sakura notices this, she will know whom she truly loves. How is it that the interactions with the guy she thinks she loves are barely mimimum as opposed to the guy she thinks she does not love are at a whole new level! Its just that her mind thinks one thing and her heart the other! When she realises what her heart seeks, she will realise her true feelings and with whom they lie!

Because, I loved Sasuke and he is not a great guy." How is it that you state he is not a great guy and you still love him? I mean if you really love him, he is great irrespective of whatever other people think of him. And I believe that was the moment, her love vanished/dwindled and that was shown to us through an image of burning Sasuke. The image of Sasuke popped up inside Sakura chan's head because the nin gave a mention of someone she loved which according to her was Sasuke! She did not knew her feelings for Naruto till then. If she is still ambiguous about Naruto or to be fairer, hasn't even considered that she might love someone else too, then how will his image pop up in her head when a mention of love is made?

Yes I agree. I'm also sure that from now on, the process to becoming canon will begin for NS. Naruto: Thinking before every move he takes like how it will affect Madara as well as the others and whether it will be a hindrance or an aid

Sasuke: This idiot will finally realise the importance of team work and hopefully he won't try to finish things off by himself since he now maybe acknowledges Naruto and maybe Sakura(Chances are slimmer than Naruto, but they are present)

Sasuke being the odd man out reminds me of the unpleasant experience I had in the Japanese site. When I went to the spoiler thread this afternoon there was a battle going on between Naruto (+Sakura) fans Vs. Sasuke fans. There has been a lot of hate towards Naruto and Sakura from (I assume) Sasuke fans. I wonder why they suddenly became pissed off when people were talking about Naruto becoming Hokage and Sakura supporting Naruto....Sasuke has a huge fanbase but they seem to be the odd one out too.

 

 

I'm a Sasuke fan myself but I'm totally fine with Naruto being the Hokage (implied from the start of the manga) and Sakura supporting that (implied from part one) just so you know.

Oh but didn't you see that Kishi purposely change the bubble of Sakura talking in  the  flashback compared to that time, so we can see how much Sasuke was red because of what she said about him. (it's ironical, i'm quoting SS fans)

Yeah because his facial expression totally shows how touched he is by Sakura's speach  I guess Sasuke just can't stand someone else being around his wifu just like in P1 when he told Sakura that he wasn't the one to save her from Gaara but Naruto and he was jealous because Sakura his wifu smiled at Naruto   .

Hahaha mostly on tumblr , other Naruto sites and the ASS thread at NF lol , but that's SS for you when something isn't according to their liking when it comes to SS which is the entire manga they turn to butchering Sasuke's character , the entire manga , the English literature and as always making false translations like we are seeing now  , their self inflicted delusion is over 9000  .

Pretty much this I loved how in this chapter Naruto & Sakura had a casual conversation and just completely ignored him like he doesn't even exist , Sakura was even more exited about what Naruto did to Kakashi and said to him "don't argue now tell me more about what you did" she was so impressed by him . Sasuke even when Sakura showed up from the Kamui was like WTF is she doing here and ask Kakashi instead he doesn't even bother to ask her himself jealousy my ass .

Yep. Excluding my friend, Lady GT's drawings are next to the orignals, perhaps orignals themselves and they really are hilarious. Her latest doujinshi or manga, I don't know what it is called(forgive me for that), but it was really amazing! YEAH ALL HAIL LADY GT XD. BEHOLD....THE NEXT KISHI XD

I've seen Sasuke getting jelly because of Naruto's power, twice, to imply that he's jealous now of him because Sakura doesn't pay attention to him is worth getting around this statement ,cause it's more than made up. I can sit all day and suck stuff like that out of my thumb and still it won't make any  sense with any of the canon matherial .

lol to ss fans and even NH fans who think from an unreliable raw script jap from tumblr that Sakura's love is even more greater than you can think. They just live in an distort parallel universe, where Sasuke would save Sakura with the only power of love in the kamui world (even he has no any ST justu to go there) or where Charasuke from RTN is really a nice guy and loves really her.
