So I've finally decided to read the manga and catch up to the story of One Piece. Caught up with the anime about 3 or 4 years ago, but I never felt like reading the 30 chapters that the manga set itself ahead of the anime with. I would always make sure I never got too behind on One Piece if I didn't watch it a few weeks in a row or something, but about 2 weeks ago i decided it was time I just caught up with the series.
 
I must say if Luffy doesn't have at the very least 600,000,000 on his bounty by the end of this, then this series has finally done something wrong (well 2 as they already just did something wrong as I'll describe later in this post). Several of infamous pirates (one with a bounty of 500,000,000), and an entire country, AND an admiral of the Marines, AND a warlord named Law, all put their fate in Luffy defeating one of the most powerful men in the world. Obviously after this Luffy and his crew has only one direction to go. The Emperors. Big Mama was threatened by Luffy, and Law said that Kaido would probably direct his anger towards him and the Straw Hats for destroying his underground partnership with Doflamingo. Cavendish also said that if they pulled off killing Doflamingo that Luffy and Law would become the eye of the storm that Doflamingo's death would bring across the entire world. The rest of the Straw Hats bounties should all be doubled. Maybe a little more than doubled for Zoro and Sanji. 350,000,000 for Zoro? HE SLICED THE PICA THINGY IN HALF LIKE 20 TIMES AND THEN CUT THROUGH HIS HAKI!!! Pica was definitely the strongest of Doflamingo's executives. 230 for Sanji? He went toe to toe with Vergo and Doflamingo for a minute. Made Vergo go crashing into the wall, and got Doflamingo to admit he was a strong one.
 
Now for what they did wrong. I hate how Luffy just passed out before he could land his final blow. It was a complete dominance one-on-one when he went into is gear fourth. I hate how Doflamingo started using that shield crap and then a panel said "20 minutes later", and Luffy said "I have no time left" and then choose to just shoot through a shield. LIKE WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT 20 MINUTES AGO!? Because he passed out, he needed help to finish off Doflamingo. That's not cool. When Luffy would use his gear third in part 1 of One Piece, he became very small, and he had to just deal with it in the fights. Remember his fight against Lucci? So what if he had to wait 10 minutes to use haki, and he was slower due to running on fumes? Get beat up from Doflamingo! That's the risk of using an ability you have that makes you stronger than him! Luffy shouldn't of received help to beat him. When Law did it, it was when Trebol was still around, and that was fair. But Luffy isn't the type to be strategic and run from a fight. Gol D. Roger "never backed down from a fight". Same with Whitebeard. He never had any wounds on his back because of it. But Luffy is gassed out and runs to recover? Stupid. I understand that he'll master his gear fourth later in the series, and this stuff won't happen as fast, but right now it does and it's his responsibility. Heck, Luffy even said "I'll put all the responsibility on my back!" Stupid.... And I want to watch Luffy fight Doflamingo. I don't care about Sabo vs Burgess. We all know Sabo is 20x stronger. Sabo is a top 20 fighter in the world. Burgess might be top 50. The fight is pointless. I can't be the only one that kept putting my hands on my forehead every time I started the next chapter and it was another random pirate fighting one of the executives. Like... cool. Let them fight, but don't make it a 40 page fight.
 
Okay I'm done! Beat him up Lucy Luffy!

Pretty sure Luffy will have around that 600 million berry bounty. I'm sure that Zoro's will go up, maybe way up. 350 to 450 million would be about right. The entire crew might see a boost in their bounties for the combination of being back + fish man island + punk hazard + dressrosa. It just depends I guess. Wonder what's gonna happen on Zou though.

The cover page is each crew member dressed in something from a different country. Like Nami is wearing a cowgirl getup from the USA omg wet dream of my life kill me now robin is dressed in an Indian outfit (Indian as in India), etc. looks good:

Oh, he'll have way more than 700 EOS. Shanks' bounty is 750 million right now. Pretty sure WB was at 850, and dragon was at 800. I expect Luffy to have at least 900 or even 1 billion. 700 million is childs play in the new world lol

I just can't see Emperors being as low as 700-900. Doflamingo would be at least 600 if he wasn't a warlord. Doflamingo for all his self pride still didn't even want to think about fighting Kaido. If your thought process if that you're the greatest thing ever, the margin has to be hugeeeee for you to be really afraid of a guy. Especially when you're aiming at becoming the pirate king.

Ace was a Logia, that accounts for some, then whatever the hell he did with WB. He had Kings Haki and Armament Haki. Not sure about observation though.

Shanks doesn't have a confirmed bounty yet. I'm 98% certain. And I just checked wiki just to make sure.

 

To put Ace at 550 is like saying he is almost or just as strong as Doflamingo. And we all know Ace would stand no chance against Doflamingo. And if Ace had armament haki.. why didn't he use it on his back against Akainu so he wouldn't be... split open? Man bounties are so unfair...

 

New chapter is called "Heaven and Earth" xD!!!

 

When does mangastream come out with the weekly chapter? I hate mangahere translations for One Piece. They make me die a little inside every time I read them.

I haven't seen the anime in a long time but this whole moment needed to be handled greatly because it really felt like do or die feeling that I missed from this series. It has that episode 12 of AoT requirement to make it impactful.

It looks we will learn D soon.

I think since the town is as big as the island and the bird cage shrink the size of the town. So I thought when you said luffy could split the town, I assume he could split the island like wb.

I believe luffy will be able to split island with his bare hand in the end of this manga.


Anyway, oda shouldn't feel inferior to kishi when Guinness book of record give the most selling manga in the world.
Take that kishi!!
