i thought i wouldn't be interested in recent chapters seeing little to no kagura.. :(
but it's still interesting to see joui fighting harusame captains. and i'm glad abuto survived in yoshiwara

Gintama is good with or without fans favorite. Unlike Naruto where you begged for one and overstay their welcome or Bleach where they take forever just to serve one character.i thought i wouldn't be interested in recent chapters seeing little to no kagura.. :(

I get the feeling the studio is going to branch all "love" based stories all in one set. I noticed that's what they skipped.

i'm afraid of bad animation like sakamoto's recent episodes.. i'm a big fan of the shinsengumi (and gintama in general) but i can't help but feel that the studio is a bit bias.. what with the difference in budgets...

What I meant is not entirely based on romance/love, but it has somewhat involve with it. Still waiting for that Ramen Arc dammit.Love based? You mean the love arc?
Well, it's a bit early to call but this series is going to need to save money for that arc and really, it's crucially necessary. This is "You mess it up and I'm done with anime" arc. Much like with Naruto fans with Pain Arc and boy, does it show. That arc needs full blown movie treatment. So it could be a coincidence or it is what you say. It wasn't really bad, it was just one of those episodes and bias? Yes. The fight will be terribly animated, only *insert favorite character* gets a specialized filler treatment with great animation, the epic moment becomes Tom and Jerry, and well, overall mess. You never watch Pain Arc animated?Pain arc treatment?
