Lets say Sakura realizes her feelings for Naruto then what ? How can Naruto accept her love after seeing her doing a confession for the other guy ? He already didn't had any confidence that Sakura will ever love him and with this is even worse  not to mention how disgusting this is . Remember the time in 631 when Naruto referred to Sakura as his "girlfriend"  and you all thought that she hear it and how pathetic is he for still loving him after that well guess what this is the situation that Naruto is now and I don't see a way how can this be redeemable in any way for NS  this is one problem .

 

The second problem is Sakura's feelings for Sasuke once again were presented as something divine and admirable by Kakashi  thus confirming 675 from SS point of view  . So why was it done like this  why was it presented like this like Sakura's romantic feelings have matured in loving Sasuke in romantic way and that this love is unbreakable  its true love  . How can this be any good for NS I ask you  ? When and how the kitten did her love grown and matured ? It makes zero sense .

 

All in all I don't see how some of you can excuse this writing and that it doesn't affect NS and its image even if does happen really this is beyond ridiculous .

Nothing is positive for SS in this chapter, hell even Sakura downright makes it obvious by saying it's pathetic while Kakashi states how much it hurts her. Everything in this chapter was anti, even despite Sakura's own words or confession however people may call it, which she herself calls downright stupid... Just let Ss fans be, really.

LOL. If I was a SasuSaku shipper, I might actually interpret their actions like them too but I'm not.

Me too.I think Kishi just gave her a reality check and if we are to go by Jiraiya's book as a parallel Kakashi will help her realize who she truly loves

I remember back when Naruto & Sasuke first woke up with their new power-ups, there was an interview in which Kishi said that he still didn't know how Madara was going to be defeated and that he'll need to talk it over with his editors in trying to find a solution. And we all know how that turned out: Kaguya. I guess till this point, Kishi couldn't figure out a way to solve the romance triangle complex and he must've started brain storming with his editors and this was what they probably came up with: "Sakura needs to come to terms with her feelings once and for all and realize the truth (Naruto is in fact that right choice) but it'll be through Sasuke's actions that'll make her understand. After she wakes up, the healing process can finally begin." To Kishi and his editors, this is an acceptable way to solve her feelings, but obviously to not just NS fans, but anyone can see that this was a horrible way and that it just makes Naruto look like a rebound.

The saddest thing about this is that I still have no doubt that NaruSaku will be canon.  This chapter further cemented the idea that SasuSaku is a horrible, demented, and dysfunctional relationship in about every way possible.  But, even though NaruSaku, I believe, will still happen, it's credibility will be horribly reduced.  I mean, how in the heck is Naruto ever supposed to believe that Sakura loves him when he just saw her crying out for Sasuke?  It's so disappointing, because I always envisioned Sakura, especially this late in the game what with the evidence of her getting over Sasuke recently, having her attention on Naruto for most of this last arc.  But the fact that she, in front of him, confessed her love to another guy, who she has recognized as being horrible in recent events, just makes no literal sense.  It's one thing being annoyed with something, but then being able to justify it because it flows with the story and character development, but to me this was the opposite.  This was horrible writing, and I am very unimpressed. 

 

I have no idea if Kishimoto can turn this around and make NaruSaku believable anymore.  I know that's what he's aiming for, and that it'll happen, but I don't know when or how he'll pull it off. 

 

I am saying all this under the impression that Mangastream's use of the present tense in that scene is correct to the raws.  Someone please tell me if they're not correct because a) I'll be a lot more optimistic about this chapter and b) the story involving Sakura's development will make a lot more sense.

 

On the bright side, I really liked everything else in this chapter.  I like Sasuke and Naruto fighting in the Valley of the End.

Oh yeah let's take a moment and talk about this. Like in my review I saw it coming, but just seeing them come here of all places is so nostalgic. The sight where naruto lost to Sasuke is the same place where they fight now, and quiet honestly I'm kinda expecting something to the storm games. You know similar attacks and have a flashback of the same panel from part 1.

Though if there is one thing I have to say it's that those statues better be destroyed during this fight.

Besides people here dont seem to realize that Naruto is a guy who NEVER gives up so am I to accept he gave up on Sakura and will just go to Hinata when he hasnt shown any chance of reciprocating to her romantically?

Well the drawings are good and it's true it's bringing back memories, but I find it cliche.

IMO Naruto also loves because of that. I still believe Kishi will do something for NaruSaku to shine brightly, but right now, I don't understand what he is doing. I'm impatient to have a full clear translation of the raw, and I'm impatient to see what happen next.

It really is amazing. How did they get there in like two pages though? Weren't they supposed to be in the Land of Lightning or smth...

Excellent post. I don't want to believe Naruto will be the rebound guy, but it's certainly heading into that direction. There's no way Kishi can mop this mess up and make NS believable. He hasn't shown the skills as a writer to be able to clean up his own mess. So why exactly should I believe he can clean up the mess that is the romance?
