I doubt this will be the final movie. There will certainly be another after the manga series ends, at least.

Beyond the shipping aspect, I think Kishi just wanted to show Naruto and Sakura working as a team again. It has been awhile since we've seen them work together as part of Team 7. Plus, Sakura needs some attention on the heroine aspect of her character. I'm just glad he's not leaving her in the background again.

I agree. The one thing I love movie 3 (Shippuuden) is the fact they worked together, regardless everyone was against them in the beginning. I like their interactions, trust, etc. Heck, that's one of the reason why I like NaruSaku so much. They're perfect match (not just romance). Imagine, Naruto does all craziness, then heal by Sakura as she kicks butts, then repeat. It's awesome. I will get that movie on Blu-ray. That's how much I love that film.

@sushi. Lol. That's a good question. Maybe Kishi will tell us in one of the future interview. My guess is Naruto would've been smart, dress nicely, polite, and so on. Think as a man in tux. Sakura would be not so smart, way too nice (no inner Sakura), and so on. But I could be wrong.

yeah, i just remembered that. poo, that would have been so cool though. so i guess the movie will be a seperate continuity like all the other movies then even though kishimoto is doing it. oh well.

Well, not change. But pressure. The editors often pressure the authors to do things their way or what they think will benefit Jump the most rather than let the author take the story where he wants it to go. Some are more lax in letting the authors do what they want, some don't. Which is horrible, because it hinders the author's creative talent. Sometimes this can also lead to Sakura's case here.

Is it me or does Minato look allot like a younger Jiaraya in the pic? Also wonder what's with the light and dark Kyuubi, is it possible than the Kyuubi sealed in the dream world Naruto is the Yin Chakra instead of Yang so it's darker instead of bright like Naruto? Or maybe Dream Naruto gave into the hate and that's why it's dark...the more you see the more this movie intrigues me.

Not much to say, but it's a nice looking set. One comment though: Kushina is in her Jonin outfit. I hope we get to see her in action then. That will be awesome.

OMG!!!! Sakura is queen of hearts and Minato is King, that thre is clear proof of SakuMina is canon!!! lol....sorry had to add that for all the crazy SakuSasu claims just because they are Queen and King of Spades. Yeah Kushina in battle gear looks cool...wanna see more.

In the teaser trailer, the rough sketches showing her father I presume, since he had the Haruno sign, read 元ヤンnear him.

I thought those sketches were actually Sakura from the dream world? I find it interesting her father, I can totally see a pink haired kid getting teased for his pink hair and becoming a rebel, like Ichigo from Bleach who used to beat everyone who made fun of his orange hair.

I think it's because Japan signed a law concerning copyright so I believe no one from YT can upload videos with copyright material from TV Tokyo or the video will get remove the person's account suspended and the person might get sue leading to jail I think.

You actually can, if a lawyer is hired for serious enough accusations. It states in almost every ToS that there's a chance of jail risk or a heavy payment fine if prosecuted. I'm not aware of it happening to people a lot especially for a youtube clip, but I'm aware of it happening and ToS stating it very clearly.

Do you think it's because of the series may be coming to an end within the next year or so, and this will be sort of the 'last big thing' besides the manga and anime?

I think he saw the reaction to Oda doing Strong World and decided that he would like to try something like that himself, any One Piece movie is big Big BIG so it is nice seeing Road to Ninja getting the same treatment. as for ending in a year I think it would take at least two lots of stuff needs to happen for closure to occur.

Haruka Kanata was simply the best Naruto OP EVER.

Never liked "Haruka Kanata"- too much a headbanger song. I know fans who were turned off by it. For part 1 Flow's "Fighting Dreamers" is much more liked- it always gets an extremely enthusiastic response at anime cons dances/raves and if requests are allowed is often done so, where I've never heard any requests "Haruka Kanata".

And from the looks of it, he's also using that song to set the bar for this movie's theme. So I guess we can expect for the song to be just as good as Haruka Kanata or even better. Let's hope Kishi manages to convince them to do the final OP song for the anime. THAT would be epic!! (if not them, I'd like SID to sing it)

Yeah I saw that article.
Just making the point that some fans disliked the song and preferred another, people have different tastes, and take away different things from even the canon story. "Fighting Dreamers" expresses the more overarching theme of the manga rather well-which is probably why it's so well liked. Hopefully the closing song will be by a group that has a style that appeals to those that like more melodic songs that touches on the tone of the power of familial love.

It's interesting to know though, what song Kishimoto liked best in part 1. I'm wondering if it's because it does relate to the less obvious part of the tone of part 1 of the manga- the emotions hidden beneath the surface inside Naruto. The lyrics do make some sense in connection to Naruto's more hidden side in in part 1:

Hopefully they'll do a non headbanger style for the movie song. Headbanger seems rather contradictory with a movie that's going to have such a theme of the power of familial love...
