Wait, Sakura already knows about the Uchiha Massacre but not the part about Konoha ordering it. It would be a double edged sword and knowing Sakura just because Konoha ordered it doesn't mean she'll immediately feel for Sasuke. She might just feel anger towards both sides, but Sakura nearly getting chidori to the face won't help that pairing.

And the Madara has manipulated Sasuke thing doesn't help the arguement for SS at the moment. Konoha elders had Itachi kill the Uchiha because they were planning a coup. So in any event the Uchiha were going to look bad, they are the power clan after all. If you think about it Madara told the truth from all indications therefore Sasuke did everything on his own. He made himself crazy, it's his own fault.

I'm going with SasuSaku being reduced to a crack pairing. And getting Karin to talk about all of the things Sasuke has done will definitely not help their arguement, let's think back to all our moments with Team Hawk. I'd love to see that conversation about Danzo.

Karin: Danzo used me as a hostage then Sasuke called me a burden and stabbed me, he discarded me.

I don't know about Zetsu though, the black part could attack Sakura and she beats him(Heroine points) or he delays Naruto. He could also inform Madara but we don't know how he works without his white half. Don't see him controlling Sasuke though, but he can't be count out that's for certain. Zetsu does use spores to take peoples chakra that has the ability to give to someone else.

Okay maybe that is a little off, we have seen moments of Black Zetsu before, or else I wouldn't have known about the spore thing.

I believe that will be S/S fans for still believing their pairing will happen. They are expecting that Sakura will fall in love again with him if she finds out about the truth about the Uchiha massacre. Must I repeat that Naruto is a shonen manga not a fairy tale or bad soap opera?

You're right, Sakura will not fall in love once again just because she know all the truth and that Konona is responsible for it. No matter what that won't erase what Sasuke have done and almost done and yes, she might feel anger too because konoha was responsible too.

Of course, SS fan will always believe in their pairing but that doesn't change the fact that, even if Sakura might understand him better will make her love him one again. Beside, Sasuke never show any interest about love and it not ' love' that will save him, if he still can be save.

SS fan can say whatever they want but the true is still there, like you said, Naruto is a shonen manga and not some bad soap opera.

Good chapter - I liked Sakuras Inner thoughts on Sasuke. I'm also glad she hesitated when going to Karin. Lets hope Karin has abandonded Sasuke otherwise she may try to attack Sakura after she is healed

I am not going to pronounce SS Dead until Sakura actually says so. Its 99% certain but you never know with Kishi.

Lets hope for a full Chapter of Kakashi v Sasuke without Naruto interupting until perhaps the end.

I dont see Kakashi dying but i do see him getting Injured whilst Naruto looks on. This shows Naruto how powerful Sasuke and acts as a catalyst for his next training mission. Which i hope he takes Sakura on with him so that the bring Sasuke back together turns into the kill Sasuke together.

Looking forward to next week Chapter but i am more looking forward to the Next NS interaction

that'd be amazing and i'd enjoy every inch of that arc's chapters

With my serious hat on now, I've got to say, I'm not overly fond of how this thread has been going. Everyone's braying "SasuSaku is dead" and practically celebrating. Yet when the others did it - however misguided they may have been with their scene twisting - everyone cries and calls for a foul. The most recent example being a month or so ago. Not only does it make us no better than them it makes the entire group of shippers look like a bunch of hypocrites.

I'm disappointed.

I never said that SS was dead nor did I celebrate it. However, the fact that Sasuke have asked Sakura to kill Karin and have made the move to kill her, I say that it doesn't look good for the pairing. Of course, anything could happen but I doubt it will be on favor for SS.

You talk like this is combat and we're looking to kill them. For that matter, it may seem fatal to you or me, but really, we're all shippers here. We know full well this isn't any more of a "death blow" to them than Hinata's confession being outright ignored by Naruto was for NaruHina shippers. There never really is a "victory", since there will be believers even if the supported pairing becomes canon ("Oh they might not work out and then so-and-so can hook up with such-and-such and TRU LUV OMG").

People keep saying SS is not dead and "It is Kishi after all!" . What has Kishi done that is compleatly insane and unconsidered? There has never been one moment where I thought something was going to happen and instead something insane happened. Sure Kishi throws in some fun here and there but he is far from a mystery writer. SS never was and has taken more hits then any other pairing. Unless Kishi wants SS to happen (and he has not shown any plot to go with the idea of him wanting to) then he would have to write something incredibly random and dramatic and he is simply not that kind of a writer sure SS is not dead until another pairing happens but I would say the chance of SS happening is 3% at best.

To say it was not a finishing blow to SS would be correct. But it was never built up to tear down anyways. There is a way bigger possibility for NH then there ever has been for SS. People in this thread can say it's sad that people get upset then call SS dead. But I have never blinked once and thought NS was not going to happen. Or that it took a step back. Sure Naruto is a Shonen but to deny what has gone on would be insane.

The problem I think is here is that the "such-and-such pairing is dead" behavior is exactly the kind of thing the opposition has done, which folks here have complained about.

Personally, I don't think so. They're pretty parallel in basic structure. Girl has feelings for boy, boy is not interested, boy does not pay attention to girl, development never ensues. I'd argue there was even less chance due to the fact that Hinata pretty much never shows up and actually does anything not involving getting whupped.

You don't find hypocrisy embarrassing? It seems like it's one extreme or the other. Either we're doomed and the other pairings are picking on us or we've won and nyah on the others 'cause they're dead.

Anyways, I care more about Sakura's bad treatment, yet again. Wish she would do something useful outside of healing for once. Ah, but kishi is writing this manga

I do have some respect for Karin now. I could end up actually liking her character if she continues to be helpful. Really hope Naruto makes it there soon and this arc will come to an end. >.>
