Why is it so hard to believe this was A NS moment, and not an SS moment?

I get the feeling that would be lulzy, but I could see several people getting mad over it. XD

Don't I know it. I even had NH/SS's commenting on my profile, saying bull like ''Sakura got pwned'' and other unecessary things.
This week's gonna be hell, but in the long run, I still have faith in NaruSaku.

That was the most luzl worthy comment ever thought.

I might just be a lurker just to see the augments that people come up with.

I can understand annoyance easily, ofc. Both NS and Sakura's character are on a thin rope here.
Facts that we know at face value from the manga:
- Sakura still loves Sasuke(easily debateable, but I did say face value)
- Naruto loves Sakura
- Sasuke loves revenge
470+ chapters and nothing has really changed.

Waiting sucks. Even more so when we get chapters like this, but just sit tight, the pairing is far from dead.

Oh man, I would hate that. It hasn't happened to me personally, but I've seen all kinds of stupid wank like that on other NaruSaku fans' profiles/works.
I think it's that kind of immaturity that makes this fandom fail. This week is going to suck for sure ugh.
But I definitely still have faith in NaruSaku.
I don't think I'll stop loving them even if they don't end up together :3

Shoujo mangaka know how to use it better, even if they sometimes fall into the shoujo version that aggravates, where is clear the girl definitely loves both boys but she swings back and forth way too many times between them- "The who does she/he love more" trope.
The shoujo version is a lot less irritating, because it doesn't feel quite as akward a stalling technique, and people who ship either pairing get a bit of what they want to see. I've noticed that really shuts down the shipping wars too.
I don't recall much of any hostility amongst the Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) fans that shipped Rui/Tsukushi vs Tsukasa/Tsukushi shippers. People would state their reasons why, and make critiques of the other guy, but it didn't go like it does when the writer does the shonen version of that trope.
I'm in Shugo Chara fandom right now and there's not the shipping wars there between Amu/Ikuto vs Amu/Tadase shippers. Peach Pit will do a bit with one then switch back to the other. Heh, just when you're sure Amu will choose one for sure she has a moment with the other. I'm thinking it will probably be Amu/Ikuto eventually from the more intense emphasis their interactions get, Amu/Tadase tend to just have smaller innocently sweet moments.
In Peach Girl readers as well not much animosity with the shippers. Poor Momo was put through the wringer, but eventually she ended up with the guy I guessed and shipped her with Kairi/Kiley the playful, slightly pervy boy who fell in love with her, rather than the bit judgemental popular boy Toji who she had a crush on

I'd say, "Hey, how's Hinata's confession going? OH WAIT, that's right, Pein killed her and Naruto couldn't hear her. Goo Goo G'Joob, Henry the VIII."

When have I ever panicked?

I agree, it would be awesome to see Nate being panicky, BECAUSE he never panics from what I have seen.

This all started cuz of Madara.
Just look.
No Madara, Sasuke is still in Konoha, Orochimaru wouldnt have chased after Sasuke cuz he wouldnt have met Itachi, cuz Itachi would still be in Konoha, and Minato and Kushina would still be alive, not to mention Naruto wouldn't have the Kyuubi.

While I'd obviously prefer NaruSaku over SasuSaku, I would not forgive NaruSaku if it came at the price of Sakura's dignity.
The one thing I really don't like about this fandom is how we expect Sakura to flipflop from Sasuke to Naruto. Yeah I know that she realizes all that Naruto does for her and that Sasuke is being a big jerk. But I do believe that Sakura, now especially, realizes how scarred Sasuke is. She knows that she can't ever understand him, but loves him anyway. It's a much more mature feeling than her fangirling at twelve and a heck of a lot more mature than her just forgetting that she ever liked him at all. It would be an insult to her resolve if she just gave up on Sasuke cold turkey.
Half of her motivation for becoming strong was to catch up to Sasuke and try and be his strength. You don't just put those kinds of feelings on the back burner when things hit the fan.
As the series has progressed (at the end of Part 1), Sakura realized that Sasuke was not perfect and her idol worship turned into a love that was focused on healing Sasuke, but now, she also values the well being of her world over him (which is a big step towards her eventually moving on.)
Her choice to take responsibility for her part in supporting this villain, is pretty much her shining moment. (I don't think she'll win, but hey. It's better then her sitting at home doing nothing.)
Speaking as a girl, sometimes you can't help who you like, so I have come to take comments like, "She's so stupid for still liking him," as really ill informed about how life can be. (It may also be my preference towards love stories in which feelings aren't reciprocated, leading to a growth in character speaking here, so take that with a grain of salt. XD )
In conclusion, I'm a fan of Sakura's character first and foremost. I used to be a SasuSaku shipper, but when I saw that her character would not benefit from being with him, I sought to find a pairing that would, and now, I kind of think that her character may benefit from having no romantic love at all. (Oh crap! What have I just realized!?! XD ) At least for now. >.> <.<
/rant XD Sorry just wanted to add my two cents
tl;dr: I hope you can actually kill him Sakura! XD

But I a key point I'm seeing some people missing is Sai says Sakura has moved on from Sasuke- meaning romantically her feelings are in the past (which fits with everything we've seen from Sakura's actions, and Sakura's words in 469-70 and remember Sakura's angry words to Naruto when he doubted her- only I know my feelings. Sai sounds certain when he says she's moved on from Sasuke, but in that long confusing set of words he's uncertain, he breaks off his first sentence before he continues, he also mentions about not being certain about something else. Sai has much more difficulty completely reading Sakura like he can Naruto.). So you have to take that into context with the rest, because Sakura loved Sasuke romantically and still is struggling to complete moving on emotionally where she has mentally. The words she says to Naruto about Sasuke is her own inward argument. She is prepared to take out the monster he's become, that poses a threat to Naruto's life (we know from her own thoughts that is foremost in her mind, she has to protect Naruto from Sasuke) and in a wider focus her friends, family, village and the ninja world itself. Sasuke along with Madara is the locus of the threat to all.
Sai does make a couple of slight references to Sakura's feelings for Naruto during that confusing scene too. It's kind of odd that Yamato doesn't put things together like he did in 297 though. But I'm really seeing set up for a parallel of Tsunade's decision to take down Orochimaru alone. Remember, even Shizune and Jiraiya believed that Tsunade might heal Orochimaru's arms and they knew her quite well, Orochimaru believed it too. Again, only Tsunade knew what she she felt and what she planned.

If she is going to kill Sasuke because she cares about who he used to be, that would seem to imply that she does not care for who he is now. (Travis shoots Old Yeller because of how he used to be, not because he loves the idea of a rabid dog.)
