Let's try and look on the bright side of things guys -
We have no idea what Naruto thinks she's lying to herself about in this scenario - if he's referring to all of what she said, or part of what she said.
I believe there is a very good chance that she was only lying about no longer caring for Sasuke - it was obvious by her crying in 453 that she still holds some pretty strong feelings for him, regardless of whether those feelings are romantic in nature or not.
About Sakura being in love with Naruto - she may be confused about it herself, but if we look back on her past actions, isn't her claim that she now loves Naruto supported and backed up by the way she's been acting around and towards him in the entirety of part 2 and the latter parts of part 1?
If she's not truly in love with Naruto, what then was the purpose of Yamato's cut off speech, Sai's comments about her being gentle to Naruto, and Sakura's hug in 450?
If he really intended for Naruto to turn down Sakura, why show the flashback reconfirming his romantic feelings for her?
If Kishi was really truly intending to go with another pairing over NS, why would he all but ignore their development for NaruSaku? Even looking at this objectively, I have trouble believing that all of the development Kishi has put into the NaruSaku bond is just to add more drama to NaruHina and/or SasuSaku becoming canon while practically ignoring said alternatives for the vast majority of part two.
So while this one moment may look bad now, I have trouble seeing this ending on a bad note.
