Alright, there was no 3rd fight. Krazy pwned me. XD He was very awkward to fight, no matter how I countered, he would react first. Definitely the most challenging Ryu I have ever met.

I HATE fireballs. DX I just kept eating them and couldn't get the timing right for the counter. XD; EX Spiral Arrows also kept coming out as EX Cannon Spikes instead.

Oh well, I'll just have to practise against Hardest CPU Ryus!

Btw. Derock. I'm pretty sure the lot of ye can beat me =D. Hell.... Shauna almost beat the crap outta me with Bison in our sparring match after our fight.

Great tournament all. It worked because I think all of us were about equal in skill. Tournaments are ruined sometimes because you have one or a couple people who are just way better than everyone else. I'll probably get the game in a month or so, so please don't do another one too soon, okay? =P

After watching the vids of Me vs Smiter, I realized that I forgot all about Bison Warp. >< It might have helped in avoiding certain attacks or putting the pressure on Smiter even more. XD (Still can't believe I took Gyro Dive Smasher four flippin' times in that last one =_=)

Hey, at least it also was a growing experience for all of us who competed, Daniee, and it was great to also test our skills and learn a few new things. If anything, I'm glad this tourney happened. We need to consider doing it again sometime. Perhaps get a few more people in on it so that we can expand the tournament even more!

Gonna have to say, Krazy was the best SFIV player in the tournament, not in H&E. He hasn't fought against everyone here. ^^ That being said, congrats Krazy on your win.

I actually blame the controller and my fingers. If you pull something very fast when using the D-Pad, it will come off something very differently. It took me during one of the Hard trials to actually thought of that (want Spiral Arrow, instead Cannon Spike was pulled off).

Now for fireballs, dodge or block them. Jumping over them is tricky, especially when jumping forward towards your opponent to counterattack. If spammed, well, punished them with EX Spiral Arrow or Spin Knuckle, regular (Heavy version of that move will go through fireballs) or EX.

lol. he already knows that now Derock. the 2 of us have very different styles from that video now. btw. derock. forget the d-pad. use the analogue. i can do any move 95-100% of the time due to it now.... the d-pad is a lot more erratic.

It's as Krazy said, we played another 10+ matches after our final and our styles are now very different. I decided to try dropping the Hori in favour of the gamepad analogue, and Cammy's moves now come out a lot quicker. I also employed more dashing and have changed into a rushdown player instead of just hanging back and waiting to counter.

Krazy is still very hard to defeat, but our fights are generally getting closer all the time. I even beat him once!

Derock, countering Krazy is difficult because he employs fireballs at varying speeds. So, even if you pull off a Spinning Backfist/EX Spiral Arrow, he's usually already blocking, jumping back, or will shoryuken you in the face. So, it's best to get in his face from the bell.

Well, I'd better update the tournament chart and info.
