Ikkitousen (All 3 Series): 0/10
Poorly animated, horribly acted, terribly written clusterduck of Anime that doesn't even work as fanservice Anime (despite their best attempts) and should be burned in a fire.

I wish that I'd checked this thread earlier. I just got it through Netflix. I don't disagree with any of your critiques (although I might amend it to say that the fanservice doesn't work because of their best attempts; it was way overdone). I would've graded it a bit more generously though. Maybe 3.5/10. It was good enough that I didn't fast forward through anything and watched it through the end of the disk. Haven't seen the third, but I might sometime. I have 75 in front of it on the queue, but I suppose that it might eventually work its way up.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

6/10: The manga was so much better... The anime was really poor; bad animation, terrible voices and it just lost its originality.

B gata H kei: 10/10

Simplely, one of the best anime series I had ever seen, funny, original, and with likeble charaters.
I just love how they make fun of sexual themes and anime romance steriotips.

While I'm not watching the anime, I am currently reading the manga of Rurouni Kenshin, and I'd give it an 8.4

Deep in the jungle camouflaged by all the fallen leaves
A hand holds up the sky while shamefully I make my plea
The alter's callin' but my legs won't seem to stand
Guess I'm a coward scared to face the man I am

Well, actually I finished watching them but, meh? I really want to recommend it smile.gif

I got them recommended by a friend as well, so why not recommend it by myself?

Shakugan no Shana - 9.5/10 And it's sequel, Shakugan no Shana 2 - 9.5/10

I could go on spoiling but I won't do that, only saying that you might get addicted after the second episode. The only thing I can say though, is that presents two battles, one with the "evil dewers" and the other one for love.

Dance in the Vampire Bund - 9.5/10

Wonderful and amazing series, I loved it from beginning to end. A very good blend of action, suspense and intrigued, and a romance that stands against all odds and the test of time. Fantastic series, I highly recommend it a_thumbs.gif

Gurren Lagann 8.5/10
I finally got around to seeing it and I gotta say it didn't disappoint. It's dramatic, farcical, and inspiring all in the same go, not always an easy mix. It's also the master of overkill and power ups. tongue.gif I saw the english dub only, gotta say I wish they had used a different voice for Kamina, it only reminds me of Saiyaman from DBZ.

Angel Beats- 9.5/10

Amazing anime, great music the reason the .5 was reduced is because it's so short. (and because it didn't show more about TK)

I agree with you a_thumbs.gif

Anyway, right now I am watching Rave Master and currently on episode 12. Right now it has an 8.5/10 from me. I really like it seeing the resemblance with Fairy Tail, as well.

EDIT:Uff...watched Elfen Lied and it has a 10/10 from me. Really, there isn't anything to say about it...

Try the manga, its 10 times better (and longer).

Millenium Actress 10/10. It's not series of episodes but a film, and God, I gotta adimit, in the ending scene, it's so emotional, that I must had sheded a tear.

I already read it and I loved the ending as well...I hope I could see something as near with Natsu and Lucy in Fairy Tail biggrin.gif

By the way, I right now I am on an anime watching frenzy laugh.gif

I finished watching (re-watching) Angel Beats 9.5/10
B Gata H Key(Real comedy) 9/10
Arakawa under the bridge 8.5/10
Elfen Lied (re-watched) and now it has an 11/10 --> I definitely recommend it because it is the best anime I have watched until now. Warnings:Uncensored-violence, gore , nudity and hard, psychological scenes. However hard to take it may be, it is also very beautiful, and with the last 2 episodes I bet you will fight a losing battle with your tears after seeing the rest of it.

EDIT: Meh...forgot to tell it has a great soundtrack with it as well...

And currently watching Pandora Hearts which has a 9/10 until now biggrin.gif

High School of the Dead

9.5/10

Maybe it's because of the lack of other quality anime this year, but this show is following the manga step-for-step thusfar, and the manga is outstanding.

For an ecchi zombie flick, there is a whole lot of depth to this story. The main cast is very well-rounded, and easy to root for. A lot more thought was put into this story than you'd think.

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes - 8.5/10 so far

There are currently 4 episodes up for this series. And so far the story is engaging, and the characters fun to watch as they interact with each other and the story's plot. I recommend it for anyone to start watching a_thumbs.gif

I am into 'romance' stuff lately after getting hurt again over a girl...

Pandora Hearts 9.5/10
Elemental Gelade 9/10
5 centimeters per Second (quite short, but quite great) 9.5/10
Myself;Yourself 9/10
Rec (very short -90min- but quite a 'slice of life' since it really presents a 'life scenario') 9.5/10

Starting watching Bleach (9/10) and I really wonder when will I finish it laugh.gif

Fairy tail- 9.5/10
This anime/manga is awsome (i read the manga) it has a good blend of action, comedy, adventure, and MANY plot twists
Summary: A mage named lucy wants to join Fairy Tail, a carfree guild full of strong mages. Her dream comes true when she meets Natsu dragoneel (AKA salamander), a carfree mage who has the power of the dragon slayers, and his cat happy who help her join fairy tail and go on many fun adventures.
I wrote that myself. Anyway you should read/watch it laugh.gif

^And I double your recommendation wink.gif

By the way, today I am going another recommendation because in my opinion it has grown to my first place in the anime summer season.
And the winner is(3 episodes remaining bu whatever)...Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi which has a 10 after episode 9 laugh.gif
This is one of the most terrific 12 episode series I have ever seen. You find everything from small puns to big jokes. It is an anime with big fan-service all in all.
haha, another one --Click here to view--
Episodes 8 and 9 for example have big combos in terms of Yuri and as we're closing the end the relationship between Ryoushi and Ryoko is evolving wink.gif
One thing is for sure. The parodies mixing in this show make it very funny(in my opinion anyway) and is a must be for any comedy-small romance otaku out there biggrin.gif
