It was pretty good. I actually laughed when my classmates were like "eww" at the nasty parts. (Yes, my teacher had permission to show this movie to us.) I liked how it ended where the Spanish arrived. But I'm wondering whatever happened to the other people that got captured. Meh, I guess they're gonna die anyways.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children-5/10
Fantastic visuals and music, lame plot and character development.
Yup
Forbbiden kingdom 3/10
A stupid movie. lame fights, jacky and jet lee are really bad, just plain horriable.
On the plus notes, monkey king was cool and when Jet lee and Jacky chan quotes bruce lee I was preatty touched...

Eh, it would've been better if it had some sort of theme to it and an actual plotline to be honest. I mean it wasn't even about the 'old man' through most of it and what else there was was just a bunch of psycho murdering and this other dude running from the psycho. Plus the murderer even got away in the end. Personally I didn't see much point in going through all this blood and gore and pointless suspense just to have an old man retire and decide that this isn't a country for him.

10 years before Shaun Of The Dead, a pre-Lord Of The Rings Peter Jackson directed this classic horror-comedy about Zombies that is notorious for being the goriest movie in history. I've seen it at least a dozen times and my stomach still wrenches a little every time, especially the lawnmower scene. But this is still better than most of the Zombie flicks that have come out these days and is one of Jackson's best films.

If by one of the best you mean greatly cheesy, than yes I agree, if by serious film then... wow, you must be drinkin the Walrus' cookies from 'Meet the Feebles'. Wow, I remember this movie

This is one of my favorite Bond-movies ever, and I have to say they did a great job even back then. I'm watching every movie from 1 and up to the Craig (not really, but trying to be a..-) Bond-movie, and with Dr.No I feel I'm off to a good start once again. Sean was, and still is God damned awesome and a great actor... and lets not forget Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder and her love for seashells?
Oh yes.. the Bond-girls... How can I not love them?
Also... Casino Royale? Pishposh... a letdown if you expected Bond, but a good action-flick.

I really enjoyed this movie a lot. It was kind of sad and I almost cried at one point but it was also very funny in a lot of parts. I haven't really watched very many foreign language films but Almodovar is one of my favorites when it comes to these kinds of movies.

Suprisingly entertaining and funny, this is the best cgi animated film Dreamworks has put out since the original Shrek. Jack Black is hilarious and the supporting cast including Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman and Lucy Liu are strong as well. This is the biggest suprise of the Summer and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a hell of a good time at the movies.

A fun film that got me to laugh as well.
However, one thing I didn't like:
That said, I'll definitely get this film when it comes out on DVD/Bluray. (Lucasfilm, PLEASE release your films on Bluray!)

Still mixed. The script I thought was extremely thin. There was plot, but not much dialogue which doesn't make for bad film.... it was just weird to see a film with this little dialogue. I'll have to let that simmer some more.
All the actors are good, except for Liv Tyler. The breathy thing she does feels put on, and while it worked wonders when she spoke with an Elfin tongue in Lord of the Rings, it robs her of believability sometimes. I just saw her in "the Strangers" and she was pretty believable in that, so, I did see a difference.
All the cameos are great, even Bixby (the guy who played David [Bruce Banner] in the TV show, makes one. And no he's not a walking corpse, but don't blink. You'll miss it.
Not a huge Hulk fan, but let me tell ya, what they missed out on in the first one, they worked right here. This is the super hero fight I've been waiting to see on the big screen!!! People do get hurt, buildings get crushed. Mass destruction. I liked the fight in Spider-man 2. Batman is great with it's realism, but I felt slightly bored with Superman's action, and X-men was basically a middle ground betwwen Spidey and Batman in terms of style. At this time I don't think FOX'es the Thing 'Ben Grimm' would stand a chance against this Hulk.
The problem with any Hulk film is the hero, what I think makes most people usually connect with the Hulk is very primal form of satisfaction in his destruction, this is a problem for the other main character, because regardless of how deep and interesting you make him, once people catch a wiff of the Hulk they star counting down the time till they see that shirt rip to reveal the green giant. So the problem is do they do a good job of making banner as interesting as the Hulk.... sometimes.... but in the end I was kind of just like.... meh.... score with Betty, Bruce and get it over with.... not sure still..... His relationship with Betty is very poorly written, i think, but this makes me interested in seeing Norton's cut of the film, which the director promised would come out on DVD, with over 70 minutes of movie cut out. Also.... wonder what they're going to do next for a villain if they do a sequel.... the leader? sheesh, one of the reasons I never liked the Hulk comics was the fact that he had boring villains.... or just characters that made poor enemies for the Hulk's type.
Is the film as great as Iron Man, no. But it's a good Hulk film, and I think marvel is building great momentum going into it's supposed Avengers movie. Going into that, it's unfortunate to hear the rumors of Marvel not wanting Favreau back for the Iron Man sequel maybe true... he was thought of to also possibly helm the Avengers movie.
Kung Fu Panda 8/10
Very sweet. Jack Black is just right. Hoffman is great. The other major voices for the five warriors are under-used. The animation is rich, and the fight sequences are actually exciting.

What the hell has happened to M Night Shyamalan? He's directed 3 stinkers in a row (this movie, The Villiage and Lady in the Water) after directing 3 great films (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs). This movie was a nonsensical, poorly acted, long, deranged, retarded mess and is an early candidate for Worst Film of 2008 (up there with Meet The Spartans, Superhero Movie and Speed Racer). His next film will be a live action adaptation of Avatar The Last Airbender, if I'm Paramount I'd reconsider.

Much to my own surprise, it was actually pretty funny and I enjoyed most of this movie. I didn't really expect it to be much and really wasn't planning on seeing it, but was dragged along anyway, and I didn't think it was too bad. A nice animation when you're not feeling like any serious and complex plot points, and just want something to entertain you, I think. Of course, Jack Black is always funny
