Ok, so I can't for the life of me remember if anyone's posted these yet, so I'll do it here. (not to mention this is a good excuse to bump the thread =D)

Worst case, if it's a repeat, the third one DID update like yesterday.

Basically, here's the deal with these:

The first two are one shots that are basically parts 1 and 2 of the overall story.

The third one is the current, multi-chaptered fic that the author is writing and he claims this will be the last one in the series.

The first two are pretty angsty, but the third has some wickedly funny moments.

okay, so lately, i've been on a naruto craze -- it happens about twice a year. i get totally hooked onto every pairing with naruto. i call it NOCS -- Naruto Obsessive Compulsive Disorder :thumbs: ... anyways, so lately, i've loved NaruIno. so what do you guys think? i'm thinking of starting a fic on it, but don't know. is it too far fetched, or what? B)

NaruIno has resurfaced IMO as good crack pairing fics.

You guys should check out:

Despite my obvious NaruSaku obsession, I have found that everyonce in a while, when I am feeling open minded, I can read a good NaruIno with tearing my skull open in frustration. I wouldn't define it as a crack pairing though, they actually are quite nice together. And the have a whole lot more interaction than Naruto and Hinata. Why isn't that a crack pairing? What is the technical definition of a crack pairing anyway?

A crack pairing is just a pairing that has no chance of happening.
I've always viewed NaruHina as a crack pairing, with a lot of obsession by a lot of people.

Anyhoo, thought I'd throw my hat in here a bit once again.

These will unfortunately be link free as freakin FFNet is yet AGAIN having problems and i can't log in to get to my favs.

Well, onward and upward:

"Broken Hearts, Shattered Dreams" by pudgypudge is now a-finished. This story was absolutely excellent from beginning to end, even if the end did make me get a bit emotional (but in a good way).

"Blonds Have More Fun" by EroSlackerMicha updates roughly once a week. Another awesome story.

Incidentally, both of those authors have also written stories about other Naru/girl pairings that are also very worth reading. Pudgypudge has ones with NaruTema, NaruTen and NaruSaku, while Micha has ones about Naru/harem (one of the only good ones i've ever read), NaruHinaTema (and it works too), and FemNaru/? (I THINK this one's going toward Sakura but it's a damn good story nonetheless).

Ino telling Naruto Sakura doesn't deserve him because she doesn't acknowledges and she's a Sasuke's fangirl (geez, she did the same thing. And Sakura acknoleged Naruto way before than Ino in CANON)? Kakashi not caring at the least if Naruto won or lost and never believing in him despite manga evidence stating the opposite? Kiba like a rapist? Come on!

Character bashing really ruins fics for me. I absolutely can't stand it. I don't like seeing fics bashing characters I dislike (like Sasuke). And most certainly I hate Sakura or Ino bashing.

I agree. I'd be laughing my butt off if it ends NaruIno (specially after hearing the shippers of a particular pairing claiming screentime is different than development).

Sometimes I have thought of opening a new thread including link to all NaruSakuIno fics I've found, but it'd need being in the Adult section due to the mature nature of many of them.

EDIT: Oh and NaruIno is a very interesting pairing but just like any pairing, it needs to be written somewhat believable and well.

I guess you won't be interested in his latest fic, 'We Are' which is a Naru/Saku/Ino which I can't link as it is most definitely going to be a M.

I don't mind Sasuke bashing, as I find him an annoying piece of ....monkey poo, and Kakashi bashing I can handle in small doses but not really a big fan of it myself (I let Kiba part go as I was more interested in what was happening with Naruto at the time) , and will admit Micha fics do overly bash but they are quite different and fun to read...and considering the lack of quality fics out there can't be too choosy, and Sasuke is the main victim so I can handle that.

Also it seems that FF.net is back and eroslackermicha has started posting the sequel to Blonds have more fun.

I Agree with you in this, the point is that when I read MOST of fanfics I don't even consider them as straight from canon. They are independent stories which have their backround in the manga called Naruto, what saves the problem of some of the greatest books because even if the fic starts from the middle of the canon story you don't need to be told backrounds.
And I don't mind some bashing in these stories for any character, as long as they don't bash Naruto..
