as much as I wish it was dead, their isn't enough hard evidence to confirm it. But talking in the sense of the manga, unless Sasuke or Sakura die the threat is still possible; speaking fanwise, as long as the pairing interest them they'll never stop.

Ok, judging from the new chapter that's put out. With Sasuke's total lack of hesitation to kill Sakura or anyone else for that matter...

What else can SasuSaku people say really?

This basiclly uppercuts Sasusaku in the jaw.

I think Sasuke rejected everybodies attention because he didn't want bonds again. Like he said to Naruto in the Valley of the End, when bonds break, it hurts, or something close to that :x.

I do agree that he is selfish and arrogant though. He left the village because he was jealous of Naruto's growth.

As for SasuSaku, I consider it a crack pairing biggrin.gif.

And about the NaruSaku bro-sis relationship? I'm sorry but sisters don't blush at their brothers (of course there are instances when they do, but it's more of a blushing out of embarrasment, unless of course theres another reason, but lets not go there smile.gif ).

Err, yes, let's not.
However, I can see the brother thing kind of between Naruto and Sasuke.

If NaruSaku does take place, some SasuSaku would probably be like, "where the heck did that come from! Kishi-sensei pulled a DBZ on us."
From the flight deck before takeoff: I'm only gonna say this once: You have to turn off your laptop, iPod, Game Boy, CD player, BlackBerry, blueberry, strawberry, cherry, and Halle Berry -- yes, you have to turn her off, too! You have to turn off anything that isn't keeping you alive.

He's implying the SasuSaku shippers would think that NaruSaku happening would be a complete surprise, similar to the whole Bulma/Vegeta thing. However, there are subtle hints throughout the series that Sakura felt a little "something" for Naruto.

Only because they didn't have the foresight to see it in the first place. I saw it as being quite possible since chapter 3.

Luckily its Kishi who holds contorl and its Sakura's feelings we're talking about. She can either chose Sasuke or Naruto. Hopefully it'll be Naruto!!!!!!!

Most likely it'll be Naruto.

As for the Bulma/Vegeta thing; since I heard that DBZ was suppose to truly end after the Frieza saga, Bulma and Yamcha were most likely to get together, Vegeta was suppose to go crazy, and...ya smile.gif

If Sai saying that she is "gentle" with Naruto isn't enough proof that Sakura doesn't have some sort of feelings for him, then I don't know what is.

LOL, it's not enough proof for NaruSaku naysayers. "O, Sai and Yamato have only known her for a week..." lol. Don't those ridiculous rebuttals just crack you up? And if we get the notion that NaruSaku is somehow validated by that, oh, then we're just "desperate", LMAO. We're "reading too much into it". Yet some of those same people bank on Sasuke having "deep, hidden feelings" for Sakura solely because he said "thank you" and a couple facial expressions . Some laud 181 as the moment that made SasuSaku canon, yet it would be a breakup scene, if not for the fact that they were never together laugh.gif.

Naruto's the one with Sakura, not Sasuke. Yet, NaruSaku has no chance of happening . Rationality and canon don't work on people who are delusional.

That's why I don't really like to argue online because you really have no idea who you're talking; for all we know it could be just some 15 year-old pothead.

It's strange because what I've seen quite a few used to use the surprising spontaneity of the DBZ pairings argument as support for SasuSaku and especially NaruHina(ex: NaruHina=Goku/Chichi SasuSaku=Bulma/Vegeta) and there are those like you said who use the DBZ comparison in a negative connatation in regards to NaruSaku. It gets confusing at times, just like there are those who use "opposites attract" in regards to NaruHina, then turn around and say how Naruto and Hinata have so much in common.

Okay, I'm no in-depth DBZ watcher but how is Chichi like Hinata? =O Like... I could never see Hinata having a temper/fight with Naruto. I see how she's sweet like Chichi (others are sweet too) but that's all I see. o.o Am I missing something?

No, no.

The DBZ comparisson isn't so much as Chichi and Hinata are a like. Its because Goku and Chichi, got together kinda out of the blue. Chichi was a character that appeared in the first season of Dragonball and we didn't hear from till years later in when everyone was older and suddenly she gets Goku. Its basically saying the paring that had no really backing, that just came out of the blue and became canon.

Me personally, I think Bulma should have hooked up with Gokou, but that's just my opinion.

Dragonball didn't really put too much effort into any romance, so it's not appropriate to use DB romance to compare other anime romances.

Oh, so they take the parallels of how a main character got with a minor female character, and the rival/nemesis got with the female lead. sleep.gif That's pathetic. Bulma/Vegeta wasn't planned at all. It was a random occurence in order to explain Trunks. It was originally Bulma/Yamcha. DB was originally supposed to end at DB, then various points in DBZ, (after Frieza, after Cell, after Buu). And the reason the pairing turned outthe way they did in DB is because of it's loose base on the legend 'Saiyuki' or 'Journey to the West'. Sanzou doesn't end up with Son Goku, which is why Goku doesn't end up with Bulma.

Unless Sasu/Saku was completely random (which it's not), it's not a parallel to Vegeta/Bulma. And Chichi boldly pronounces that she wants to marry Goku soon after they met. And Goku says ok. This clearly hasn't happened (and I doubt ever will) with Naru/Hina.
