bah, this is the moment i've been trying to work towards with Takeshi, and it's also the reason i've been cussing Takeshi out lately.

“Why, Takeshi-sensei?”

Takeshi stood there, Sakura lay before him, bleeding, her legs broken, a kunai lodged in her left arm, blood pooling around her like a macabre show of pain. Naruto panted heavily, his eyes shifting between his apparently demented sensei… and the woman he had found to be his true love. The woman he had betrayed, yelled at, hurt… all because of the man who stood before him now.

“Why did you kill Sasuke? Why did you do this to me and Sakura-chan? Why did you lie to us, manipulate us, WHY!?”

He looked back up, his eyes turning a crimson red, matching the colorless black of Takeshi’s eyes. Takeshi shrugged, the red blood slipping slowly from his black blade. As he sat on the corpse of one of the chuunin. One of the freshly killed chuunin.

“Because, my dear student, I must teach you why loving a woman is a mistake. You never know when some maniac might, I don’t know, come along and kill her?”

And at this moment, the black blade flashed through the air at Sakura-chan.

And all hell broke loose in that single moment.

“Hey sensei.”

Naruto stood there, his kage-robes swirling in the wind, his hat hanging limply at his side, clutched in his fingers like a lifeline.

“I don’t know if you’ve found your brothers yet, or if you’ve made your peace with Sasuke yet.”

Naruto pulled out a picture that had been taken of him and his sensei, the sword his sensei had forged for him clutched in his hands as he slung his arm around Takeshi’s shoulder, Takeshi merely grinning at the camera. It was one of Naruto’s few treasures of the past. The frame was solid steel, to save itself from short and stubby fingers in the night.

Naruto bent down, planting the picture in the dirt of the grave. There were no tears, it had happened five years ago, after all.

“I hope you’ve made peace with yourself, and I just want you to know that I forgive you. I forgive you for everything, sensei.”

Okay, there were tears. Little drops of moisture were running down his face, but he paid them no heed.

“Sensei. I wanted you to know. I thought about what you said.”

Naruto stood, his sensei commanded respect when he was teaching, and Naruto would show him that respect, even in death.

“I thought about what you said, about women, and love. I suppose you are right, that my love for Sakura-chan could weaken me, and possibly end me- ”

Naruto looked like he was about to go on, but a young voice cut through the solemn air.

“I FOUND DADDY!!”

Naruto half-turned around, smiling down at the blond-haired bundle of joy that was his first-born son. The little boy somehow wormed his way around the robes to bury himself in the warmth of his father’s leg. The cold wind wasn’t as inviting as his father, after all.

Naruto bent down, picking his son up and lifting himself up to sit on Naruto’s shoulders. He could smell Sakura walking happily up the hill after her son, he could hear her humming a happy tune. Everything seemed perfect. There was nothing wrong with his world.

He turned back to the grave, and buried the black blade deep into the ground.

“- But that’s a risk I’m willing to take.”

Although, i would have liked an explanation of why Sakura left Naruto in the first place lol.

But it doesnt matter i guess, a fitting end to this series of drabbles it seems

yeah, here's a plot explanation of the entire thing...

1. Takeshi tricks naruto (Prolly with genjutsu) into thinking he saw Sasuke and Sakura goin at it.
2. Naruto goes to Takeshi for comfort (Diamon ring scene)
3. Takeshi removes Sasuke from the picture, so Naruto can't verify what he saw from anyone but Sakura
4. Takeshi plants seeds of doubt In Naruto's mind, begins turning Naruto as Crazy as he is.
5. Sakura goes on mission not too far from Konoha
6. Naruto finds that Takeshi was lying to him, and that he's been tricked.
7. first confrontation, Takeshi flees for Sakura
8. Second Confrontation, the one with all hell breaking loose
9. Takeshi commits suicide in a moment of clarity to stop himself from killing Naruto
10. Epilogue

yeah, now you all see why i hate Takeshi

Nice job Kitsu-chan, although I keep wanting Sakura to smack the hell out of Naruto until he stops being so self-loathing. And of course she can kiss it/him and make it better afterwards.

Compy-kun: There, and everything makes sense now. You see, this is good stuff! My only wish was that you'd let us there was an arc coming we'd understand there was a reason for all that stuff in the earlier drabbles to happen, and not just because you like putting Naruto through hell and back.

He was laughing.

He couldn’t stop himself.

He tried, he really, really tried. He did!

No, don’t roll your eyes.

His student, HIS STUDENT had come in, no, PRANCED in, skipping merrily, twirling around. His little eleven year-old deadly student had PRANCED!! PRANCED!! In, singing, laughing, simply twitching with delight, his blond hair spinning round and round with the boy as he danced around the room.

Finally, at last his student had collapsed on the bed, and sighed happily.

‘I’ve met an angel, sensei… a beautiful, pink haired angel… and I’m in love!’

Naturally, Naruto was none too happy about the fact that his sensei was still laughing.

On the ground.

Rolling around, trying to catch a breath between great big guffaws.

Why, if Naruto didn’t know better, he’d assume his teacher didn’t believe in love at first sight!

Notice i haven't named Takeshi, so if you want Takeshi to be dead, say so.

Please note that if he's dead, then this new character will retain his contempt for the emotion of love

due to lack of responses, i have decided to re-write Takeshi... again

“Takashi-sensei! Takashi-sensei!”

The twelve-year old boy ran up the steps to the home owned by his sensei. The Infamous Takeshi. The Black Blade. The greatest swordsman in the village. Naruto rushed up the steps, his sandals clanking against the cobbled stones in a manner that the blond-haired boy found pleasing. Of course he found it pleasing! He’d passed the test!

Naruto burst through the door, swinging his new headband around in the air like a victory banner.

“Takeshi-sensei! I got it! I passed! I passed!”

a groaning sound came from the kitchen. Naruto rushed in to find his sensei laying on the ground, surrounded by sake bottles and pocky boxes. His sensei tried to sit up, only to tip right back over onto the ground. Naruto quickly began motivating his sensei with swift kicks to the gut.

Takeshi groaned, slowly lifting himself up, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

“Wazzhapninthazzo ‘mportan??”

Naruto gave his sensei another kick

“Wazzz hapnin thaz zo ‘mportan?”

Naruto gave another kick, this time to the ribs.

“What’s happenin that’s so important?”

Success!!

“I PASSED THE EXAM!!”

Takeshi fell back down, clutching his aching head in pain as the yell bounced around in his hungover head.

Today, was going to be a very long day.
