Since you've never answered this question by email, I figured I'd ask you here, Desaix. In the next chapter, will you be going into detail about the Hanabi/Ran relationship and how it came to pass? Hanabi doesn't strike me as the type to mess around with girls, so it would be interesting to see how Ran convinced her. PLEASE??!!

Glad to hear that Desaix! From what you told me last year, you sere pretty doubtful as to when you'll even have an answer, so this is good news indeed. I rather liked what you showed me of the story, though i am still sorry not to have told you what i though about the latest chapter... tell me if you want some info, but from what i understood it s a bit late :ppp

At this point, I'm actually a little further back than I thought I was in getting my book published. I need to complete an outline of the future books in the series before they give me an actual contract offer, and that'll take a little time as my outlines are not quite the sorts of things they'll understand. ('Remember discussion with sister-in-law on cats' won't exactly tell anyone but me what that element of the story is about, for example) It is looking good, however... and I'll update further as time permits.

Later? But it's been 9 months since your last update, and the relationship has been going on for a while (in the story). When you think of it, this is the perfect chapter for an explanation. Naruto is going to see Hiashi and both girls will be there. It's perfect! You can put it in as a scene where Hanabi looks back at how Ran persuaded her to become her lover.

PLEASE, this has been killing me (sad, I know, but I am a little obsessive/compulsive here). I love relationships like Hanabi/Ran not just because it's a lesbian relationship, but because Hanabi is one of the last people (especially the way you wrote her and the other being Hinata) who you think would get involved with a girl.

Help me. Please! I'm desperate.

Well, Uzumakinaruko, while I too want to know how Hanabi and Umiko got together, I agree with Desaix that it shouldn't happen in the next chapter. It will already be hard enough for Hanabi, she doesn't need to distract herself with flashbacks. She can't risk showing anything that might be used against her, and when you remember, your eyes usually tend to either glaze over, or go to the persons or things you're thinking of. She has too much self-control to let that happen. On the other hand, should either of them be kidnapped or hurt, it would be a good occasion to reminisce. Worry tends to make you think more than you usually do. And you can't worry more than when your precious people are in danger.
Either way, Desaix, whether or not you decide to reveal it, I will look forward to whatever you come up with.

If ever there was to be a flashback on the way, that would be something like Hanabi and Hiashi's last meeting, or the last time all four Hyuuga who are the most concerned by the civil war got together (namely Hiashi, Hinata, Hanabi and 'Hyuuga-sama'... whatever her real name is. I don't think there will be one, though.

This fic just has Too much Potential and is easily one of the best if not the very best Naruto Fics out there to be forgotten so easily.
