I like Hisoka's character, though I personally don't think he's handsome, lol. He looks too much like a clown and clowns freak me out.

 

Oh, I wasn't referring to Hisoka's clown appearance (though that gives him that iconic character). W/out his costume makeup, he looks pretty handsome... You'll see There will come a scene that will leave you drooling as a girl

What do you think of the current Kurapika though?

As for me..

Obviously, he went through a lot. Working underground might have made him a bit corrupted? The way he's hinting that even those who were deadbent on never giving him the Kurta eyes later on gave in is scary... He still cares about his friends of course, but I feel like he tries to keep them at a distance.

Oh, and as of chapter 349, Kurapika is 20 yrs old now O_o When he was first introduced, he was just 17. Time passes, lol.

Yep, he definitely made...quite a turn (which mainly due to his current "job")  compared to how he was in the beginning

 

It was a turn in a good way, I think since it makes his character more interesting for me at least, the fact that he still cares from his friends deep down makes him better than the wannabe Kurapika that is Sasuke  ...

His story in the beginning was the more interesting of the lot that's why he became my favourite HxH character, though Gon and Killua's plotlines surprised me in different ways and made me like them too

 

He has 20 though O.o...how the hell did I not notice that?

Hisoka is one of my favorites XD Such a sly and clever (and handsome) troll, lol. But you pretty much know nothing about his past, and that may remain that way b/c another character has stated that Hisoka never looks back into the past.

In case you're wondering if he's pedo... Probably. Fact is, age and gender don't matter in his eyes as long as his opponent is strong- if that condition is fulfilled, he gets excited

 

Well, you'll see why Ging sucks as a Dad ^_^

I love Hisoka's character. He's the villain that randomly shows up wherever he likes to spice things up XD He's smart and mischievous. He's one of my and and my brother's favorite villains.

Yeah, he sucks as a Dad. And it's just the way he is. He refuses to take responsibilities as a father and is more concerned with his wandering around as an archaeologiest.

While I'm scared to see how much he has changed b/c it pains my heart seeing my favorites turning "evil", this truly does make him a more interesting character. When I started HxH, I thought Killua was supposed to take up the role of the revenge boy- turns out that was actually Kurapika. 

Yeah, he's 20 now. During the chapters from 340-349, a lot of time has passed. You forget how extensive and meticulous preparation this three-month journey really needs. The Chairman Election was around August (two years have passed since the start of HxH), the Hunter Exam next year in January (where Kurapika kicked out all the traitors with his dowsing chain), and the voyage is set for August. So an entire year has passed O-o (So Gon and Killua are 15 now).

Maybe a timeskip is coming up one day, who knows.

How do you feel about the Dark Continent? I feel like this might be yet the best Arc HxH will have. All those long-ass explanations in the latest ten chapters to build up the arc are so intense. Leorio and Kurapika will be the MC, and that makes me incredibly hype. And in addition to that, we've got those other awesome characters that will also be the focus of this story: Ging, Pariston, Beyond, and the 4th Prince of Kakin. My body is ready for whenever HxH comes back >_<

 

EDIT: I've mentioned this a while back, but no one has answered. What if, Kurapika accidently (Or purposely) kills Kalluto in the Zodiacs. That might create some interesting setup b/w Kurapika and Killua who has so far more or less ignored his youngest sibling.

About Kurapika: The voice actress is also the one who voice Celty Sturluson from Durarara ;) Miyuki Sawashiro is one of my favorites.

I don't think he will turn outright evil, but I do think he will reach the point where he will be on the mindset of "sacrificing everything for his goal " unfortunately, just hope he eventually develops out of it in the future

 

Yep, HxH is always so hazy with these timeskips I actually dismiss most of them

Anyway Dark continent arc? I was excited for it actually, but with all these hiatus my excitement has died down a lot, I hope it can surpass the Chimera Ant arc which is the best until now IMO 

 

About the possibility you presented...yes, that could happen  and it'd definitely raise tensions within the main group it might be a smart thing or a dumb thing to do depending on the way Togashi handles things
