Did you ever think that Naruto would last this long?
- Actually I never imagined it, I actually thought it might be canned after the 10th week. That's actually a regular occurence at Jump, after episode 10, 'THE END'.

Did the editors of Shonen Jump want you to continue NARUTO?
- Well I'd be lying if there wasn't some pressure from mangement. But I had a pretty clear idea how I wanted to the series to end, but I put my foot down and said "this is when I want it to end, this is it"

You said you had the Naruto ENDING perfectly visualized in 2006. Did you end the Manga how you wanted to back then?
- Actually it was all in my end. I had envisioned that Naruto and Sasuke would make the sign of recoliniation in the Valley of the End.

You've been working on a lot of stuff; Naruto Gaiden, Boruto Movie, etc., how is your work load?
- So um, yeah life got a little bit easier when I finished drawing Naruto. It might not be obvious to the fan's, but literally as I was drawing the last chapter, I was told I was going to write the script for the Boruto Movie. It was just recetly that I finally got time to relax and spend time with my family. After the scree play.


Other than Naruto, who is your favorite character of the series?

After listening to all this, I cant stop laughing that i may have a heart-attack (not joking).

You see where i underlined. That's it ladies and gentle. He indirectly admitted  that NS was the end game and that was so post to happen. The final sentence is  tries to back pedal with him making a phony statement that he boot his foot down to justified the ending in a positive light. Oh no, this guy has no idea that he still puts his foot in his mouth for 11 months and has yet to come out and he's a hypocrite. He knew exactly he deliberately destroy his work and characters and could never give nice speech about the endgame pairings and its character. Tell this guy go back to his little rock island and just disappeared off the face of the earth.

I think what he mean with the ending is naruto vs sasuke.

Anyway Jiraiya is a dead scumbag. : p Dude never visited his orphan godson in 12 years, I mean at least Sirius had an excuse. And he spied on naked women as an adult and told child Konan to give him a chance when she turns 18. After the ending I look back at it and realized what was terrible about the whole thing and realized it was nothing new, just worse than before.

Based on how well the Boruto movie did and the people who went to his panel, I`d say he has a guaranteed audience for his sci fi manga

Hard to say if it's the exact amount. He most likely going to get the effect of "your first work is better." Not everyone can get lucky with second work after their milestone one.

Well man such is who Naruto is now do you think people who still like this kitten care nope they care for one thing Hinata get it in bed that is all the care about. I don't think the work will be as big as naruto, in the sense that it will sell more than 800 k like naruto.
But his work will have guarantee audience/reader that will buy whatever product he make.
I think he will be fine.
