If they don't want to tick off their fans, they better do something before moving on to the new region.
They are trap if the Amour doesn't become or sort of becomes canon they will lose the shipper with some hate or if they do something with the amour still the writers will lose shippers but in a happy way or simple they don't care after all they have the children and players.

Indeed the tumblr amour fandom is right is indirect kiss and Pokemon is not a shojo notice it or the writers didn't notice, but the fandom yes.
