We all have waited for this fight since the beginning but now many fans don't give a kitten and they want this nightmare(it's a nightmare to me XD) to end.

Come on now, there's only THREE chapters of this manga remaining. Why not appreciate it and enjoy the few remaining chapters instead of getting sad and disappointed?

Count me in  Kishi did more then enough to ruin not just this fight but the manga as whole I can't even tell anymore what is the message that he sends bc of how ridiculous everything seems especially in the "bonds" department with everyone being so stuck on Sasuke and the whole story revolving around him , at this point I just all this mess to end for good

I believe this will be the climax after these attacks clash.  Same as Rasengan and Chidori in the previous VotE fight.  I liked the part where Naruto said that "I too want to beat you, but not the you right now."  Of course, Naruto isn't happy with the way the person he set as a goal and thought of as a brother turned out.  Sasuke serves as the foil to him holding the principles he's very well against.  I'm sure he imagined a different kind of battle with him back in their Genin days, which is being tarnished by this fight now.  Well, it's nothing surprising,, since all their encounters so far have been like that.

Seeing that panel of sakura looking concerned for Naruto when Sasuke was about to punch his face reminds me of how upset I was at SP for altering it in the anime...remember she was cheering WITH Ino in the anime? No wonder people think she is just a Sasuke fangirl...at least in the anime at times....now SP makes up for its mistakes in other ways..thankfully....but it still annoys me when they change canon panels....

I've being telling you guys that Sasuke is a moron. Now here's the proof, yet again.

Anyway I can guarantee you that Naruto's line towards Sasuke. the "I.../I'm" is "I love you/I'm in love with you" that's how the battle win end.

Lol I was referring more to the point that they weren't bland. Itachi was seemingly wise, and the fact that he didn't hate Konoha despite what he had to do always intrigued me. To me, Obito's pain was the most palpable, and I really felt for the guy. I thought he was complex, and I liked that I could feel his anguish. Sounds strange, but oh well XD

 

Plus, both of them were able to admit that they were failures, something that Jiraiya, Nagato, and Minato did, and I liked that they were humble about it and weren't afraid to admit it. Sasuke would never do that.

Both of them knocking each other out with Rasengan/Chidori  is the only plausible ending I can see

I cant imagine TnJ successfully working and both of them going back to Kakashi and Sakura as if the fight never happened

So typical Naruto battle, only because the manga ends in another three weeks, the battle is rushed even morem and the battle is taking place in giant form instead of human size. The artwork for the battle is some of the best I've seen from Kishi though.

 

Once again Sasuke gets an unconvincing power level, did Kishi not read his own manga? Sasuke was not that impressive in his battle with Kaguya, infact I'd say he came in last, Naruto was the most effective, Kakashi second right at the end, Obito was third with him dimension hopping, saving Kakashi's life, and letting him borrow his power, then Sakura for saving Sasuke and dealing the final blow. Sasuke had to e rescued and his Rinnigan was useless. I don't understand if Kishi is telling us that Sasuke deliberately held back or he actually thinks that battle showed us enough to explain Sasukes current power levels?

 

I do wonder how Kishi plans to turn Sasuke around in just three chapters, it doesn't look like he's even come close to listening to Naruto let alone be convinced by him, and with three more chapters it doesn't leave him much time for a convincing Talk no Jutsu...unless all three chapters will go towards the battle and no pages will be left for the conclusion, so no seeing everyone coming out of the Jutsu, or scene with Sakura and Kakashi, hopefully the last chapter will be a double chapter so 40 page long or something.

 

I find it hard to get my mind around the fact that in 60 pages the manga will officially be over.

There was only one touching moment in this chapter. And it was about Naruto's loneliness. It made me think that Sasuke doesn't know what true loneliness means.

i just read the chapter and my first impression why the kitten is it called ''the battle of love''? ...

ok so now sasuke...i realy have no clue how kishi is going to redeem sasuke in 3 chapters ...kishi just digs the kittenhole deeper and deeper,just like with madara's case..also why the need to rush everything and give his fans the ultimate dissrespect by ending his 14 years old manga in such an unsatisfying way?just for the sake of ending it at 700?somebody wake me up when this sasunaru drama fight is over

Well hopefully that is the end of Sasuke's limelight (and his arrogance). Naruto has his answers now we wait for how he responds in ending this feud. Tbh I expected and hoped it would come to fruition this chapter in the manner of TnJ but instead it centred around you know who.

 

Like others mentioned, it'd be nice for this fight to revert to the basic principles of ninja art standardized in part 1 and the earlier days of shippuden. It's still a possibility with this clash that concluded the chapter being their all-in depleting most of their chakra reserves. As a means, it may force them to resort to a more preservative approach if both can muster up the energy to get up from the blast.

 

Although, for what it is, the fighting is actually enjoyable.

 

That statement about shadow clone tho. In addition, not only may it symbolise Naruto's weakness, it also supports his and Itachi's view in "you can't do everything alone" or something along those lines. He's always needed his shadow clones against most, if not, all of his opponents and leverage them to create an opening and subsequently beat them. Although, that's a given. The loneliness touch is a much more powerful outlook. 

 

All things considered, Sasuke's still a spoiled-child who needs a lesson from the one and only.

I think they called it a battle of love because it has to do with Naruto's Promise Of A Lifetime....which of course means Sakura has to do with this...this isn't just about the boys, Naruto remembers his promise to her....
