What do you mean exactly? Are you referring to the UBW and Heaven's feel route? I only know that fate/zero was first a light novel series before it was adapted into an anime.

Nope. The fate route, the UBW route, the Heaven's Feel Route all together make the visual novel Fate/Stay Night, a game you can play on your computer. They were never released separately as light novels.

You know the difference b/w light novels and visual novels, right? A light novel is basically a physical novel. A visual novel is a sort of like a game in which you can decide what happens next. Are you sure you want to play the visual novel game? It literally takes HOURS to play it... I forgot how to download it, but just go to youtube and look up something like"How to download Fate Stay Night". But honestly, I'd just watch the anime from 2006 if I were you. It is stupid and terribly animated at certain parts, but it gives you a pretty good summary/gist of what is going on. You could then just read the summary of the fate/route from the visual novel on wiki.

Good luck with that XD The game is from 2004, so don't expect anything mind blowing XD I followed the game a bit on youtube b/c some people recorded themselves while they were playing the game. Oh, me, too! I'm on spring break right now, but ugh, I'll be busy studying T-T How many episodes of UBW have you seen so far? Fate/Zero btw is a lot more mature and darker, and Kiritsugu (the guy who adopted Shiro) is the main character in there. A very well-written anti-hero in my eyes.

It looks like there's well over 50 hours that you'd have to play through, just for the fate route alone XD

If you wanna play it two days straight w/out sleeping, and eating, and whatever your body requires to function you should be able to get through the Fate Route The best thing is: With each route, the time required to finish a route gets longer and longer (at least that's what I've heard.)

There aren't any light novels from what I know of...it's either play the visual novel or read the wiki, it will have alot of details of each route and what the characters do if you don't wanna watch the anime of 2006

Lol no...I saw it a very long time ago when youtube didn't delete stuffs back then, I don't remember much since its old xD I could try to find it for you

Saber doesn't get to shine too much in here in my opinion, but the route is still good. I think you'll respect her even more when you start to realize who she was back then in the past and why she acts the way she does...
