I'm pretty sure we all want NaruSaku to happen so that way most of us can go on Youtube and rub it in the NH and SS fans faces

 

Even if NS is endgame I will continue to ship NS for a while I will still be here because the anime is not over and it might end probably next year

 

Nah I don't think it will be rushed but Kishi better extend those pages on that last 5 chapters to like 40 or 50 whatever

That I'll be ok with it. In fact I will love it. but I don't know if it's possible, let's crossed our finger:P .

I do hope that the ending isn't rushed. And the pairing would be resolved in the end. 

 

But I feel kinda sad that I no longer have anything to look forward too every Wednesday or Thursday after the manga is finished.

 

Problem is the whole manga feels rushed since Obito was originally defeated, it took over three years to get the war to the stage of Obito's defeat and in this past 12 months, we've had Madara rise to the top, and kill both Naruto and Sasuke, and then them getting their power up, fight Madara only for it to turn on it's head and we find ourselves with a new both only for her to be defeated quite suddenly, and now we have Naruto vs Sasuke the final battle that we know won't even last five full chapters, just feels rushed.

 

I can't shake the feeling Kishi cut out allot of content related to Madara, Kaguya and even maybe the Sage's brother to end the manga before the movie aired in Cinema.

It wouldn't be surprising. Kishi has often needed to cut corners with fights in his manga because of editorial pressure. Because of them, we were deprived of a rare opportunity to watch Tsunade fight in a one versus one battle. Hidan also became a one-trick pony as a result. The neglect of their panel time in combat is probably what contributed to the fans' notion that they're the weakest of their respective groups (the Sannin and Akatsuki).

Well, even if this extra chapter is "only" to promote the movie, maybe it will be used to make the connection.

Or maybe this extra chapter will be the actual plot Kishi decided for the movie.

Yep.It's possible that this extra chap is for the movie.

The extra chapter is probably a setup for the movie buuuut considering the movie looks like it takes place two years after the manga, the content of the manga could be relevant to the end, it could bridge the gap in between the current and the future, so it could shed light on any relationships that have blossomed and probably why Naruto is not in the village. Though it is surprising the manga did not end a week later and just made it to 700, or maybe it's all deliberate, ending it on 699, chapter 700 is the actual movie, where he becomes Hokage.
