You know what's funny? That this chapter shows more clearly that Sakura was really looking in Naruto's direction 

 

I think I've already reached my limit of expecting from Kishi. So I was just curious about you.

All these years it was him implying some kind of development or another and then disappointing us. This repetition has made me tired. It's like when a boy cries wolf for three times, you don't trust him anymore. I wish I still had it in me to expect from Kishi.

Haha, I know what you mean... I don't know how to explain my brain works in terms of these things... but mainly all the things I predicted that are gonna be happening, they did at one point or another. Maybe it was earlier or later, that depends. But if they fit in a certain way (which I don't know how to explain atm) in the storyline, they are gonna happen... 
Idk, the thing is... I know these things like the palm of my hand... I watch new tv shows and I can say to you from the very beginning what's gonna happen without seeing it ever before... that's how I know Kishi is gonna put them in there... The only part I can't see as stable is the time, but they do happen one way or another, in the end.
I really don't know how to explain.

I'd say I don't trust Kishi more than I trust these...how to call them? Behind the scenes works... the literary procedures?
It's hard to explain how my brain works most of the times, I really do have that difficulty. I just have information in my head and I combine them and that's how I get the plot of a story before even reading it...idk...

Out of curiosity. What will you do if Kishi continues the bromance and Sakura continues to stay on the background saying either "Naruto" "Sasuke-kun" in replay? It is a 'what if' question.

Be relieved, at least it's not happening with Hinata too like some endings suggested, Sakura and Hinata on the background while Naruto and Sasuke fights.

 

My reaction on this chapter is that, as much as i dont want to say this, i think Sasuke for once is on the right side, wtf those bijuus going to seclude themselves once again just to be captured on the future while Orochimaru is still alive, things going to return to those even once while the feudal lords still have their privileges.
Naruto's ideal wont bring peace realistically and is impossible to reach that, Sasuke sealing the bijuu's (weapons) prevents anyone from ressurrecting Kaguya, and killing off the kages breaks off the current system and starting a revolution where may be the people will have the power to decide as opposed to only Jounins/Kages/Feudal Lords.

No matter if Naruto becames Kage, he will need the approval of the feudal lord and will have to continue begging him for money to sustain the village.

Since there's no wars and peace is achieved, therefore there would be no missions rank A or S to perform, that will pay money.

 

THe shinobi system can only maintain itself though wars, so in my opinion Sasuke is on the right side.

 

Sasuke becomes somewhat a realistic and Naruto is an idealistic.

I don't think that will happen to sakura. Because she's not part of the duality, but she's part of the trinity.
Even if somehow she manage to join the fight, she only get hurt or stab.
The only way for her to participate in their battle by having mokuton release which I don't think would happen.

anyways.. very interesting chapter. I really didn't expect them to rush right into it. with sasuke being more on the realistic side nobody's going to follow him on this path of "revolution" whereas if it was with naruto they would. i think it's going to turn out there being a one world order (ILLUMINATE CUNFIRM'D) but seriously he's gained the support from all 5 of the kage's and the ninja's within each 5 nations respectively if there was to be real peace that's the only logical thing i could think of. 

on a side note; but what if sasuke actually beats naruto like previously? most likely wouldn't happen but it'd make it alot more interesting how things would play out.

 

and why does sakura keep holding onto kakashi?? like WTF? LOL? when i first saw it i think it was last chapter? i was like um..? but still..? ok xD.. maybe it just feels that way because i waited a whole week for the chapter YEP a whole week 

edit; this actually makes me think if there is some sort of one village-one world order type thing where there's peace would they still be teaching ninjutsu to young academy students? and if not.. would there come a point in time where ninjutsu is completely forgotten about? that would make for a very interesting sequel.

See what I mean? I don't think Kishi is gonna leave Sakura out. There are too many plot points he'll miss if he does it that way.

 

@rocci: i know she's part of the trinity.. that's why I said about the neo sannin showdown... it will probably go like this: first sannin showdown after which the two of them. if kishi does it this way, he resolves all the plot points...

I don't think so... This is Sannin Showdown 2.0... I said it it's gonna happen, I called it! I just didn't knew exactly how... But I damn called it and it HAPPENS! Sakura won't stay out of the fight...

I just hope you're right, I want you to be right, because I want a real sannin fight with Team7.

There are three major subplots that ties in with this battle that has Sakura as half of the participant: her promise to Naruto and her status as a neo Sannin, not to mention... her support for Naruto's dream. You know what happened with the old ones... I knew this was coming and then the Hokage deal came down and at that point I knew Kishi was gonna have a Neo Sannin Showdown. The end will probably a happy ending one but the battle will take place. And Sakura is gonna participate! Kishi has been holding her back for too long and now it hit her where it might hurt even MORE than Naruto, aka Tsunade.

Sasuke declared he's gonna kill Tsunade... Not Naruto (only) but Tsunade... This is a major wake-up call for her and it's done nicely, without having to trash her through the romantic subplot... Kishi hit good with this one. He hit in the only person that helped Sakura to be what it is today, that gave her the power she has today, the power she used in order to save his ass, the power granted to her via her master, the Hokage. And Sakura is the fifth Hokage's disciple and has claimed her status as such.

You're very right, now that I can think about the chapter calmly, I see it too. But I doubt everyone in the fandom will see it. Everyone will only talk about pairings lol. ^^'

Man, it's done so brilliantly! If it would've been just a NaruSasu battle from which she would somehow had to chose it would've been hard because she's that damn caring type of girl and even though she might not love him romantically, Sakura would've still be not at ease if she had to chose between the two, because she knows how much Sasuke means to Naruto and the care she has for Naruto, well, we all know the level. That's why it was conflicting the last time and things didn't go well.

Yes I think like you about that. People what Sakura to hate Sasuke, but I don't think neither Sakura neither Naruto would hate Sasuke.

But this time, Sasuke hit his lowest point and betrayal... He dared to attack Tsunade which has nothing to do in a way with their complicated romantic-wanna-be-triangle, but she has a big implication in terms of Sakura's character outside the romantic subplot we've seen her. Aka her relationship with Tsunade and status as a medic. And then there's on the other side what Tsunade means to Naruto.

I'm still surprised with it to be honest. I had never expected Kishimoto to put a NaruSasu fight right here and right now. Also, I thought Sasuke was a little softened. I was wrong, he's still the same egoistic and mad spoiled child, and he's still in a rush to make things as only he wants. I'm also really surprised that nobody will be out of IT until the end of the NaruSasu fight ! Hagoromo just stated it. Both powers are needed to release IT. I'm happy about it, but I'd never thought Kishimoto would do that. Really.

Naruto might ask Sakura to stay out of this because he knows how much Tsunade means to Sakura, but he's gonna get headbutted again. Sakura won't stay out. This is her master... The same way Naruto had been implicated in the finding of the code left behind by his master, which was a battle itself (we all know what came after!), the same way Sakura is gonna claim her place as the righteous student.

I'm not sure Naruto would ask her to stay out of it. But it's a strong possibility. I mean, back then, when Sakura came to fight alongside him and Sasuke, Naruto accepted because of her determination. It was also a team7 moment, so it was needed for her to be here. This time, it's more a 1/1 fight, so it's possible that Naruto would want to say to her to stay out of it. But I just can't see Sakura looking at them without even saying anything. So I tend to side with your opinion. I tend to think that Sakura will not stay out of it, even if Naruto ask her to.

If this would have been as I said, just a NaruSasu combo of threats that didn't went more than just between them, Sakura might've stayed out like she said she would... But Sasuke hit too low... she is still in shock now, but she'll get in the battle. There are too many subplots that get resolved with this battle and the implications of all parties - aka her. Kakashi also, but we're talking just Sakura here.

So, in conclusion, I hope she'll join in. At least by words.

what if.. in the most climax moment the outcome of the whole fight will depend on Sakura? whom to help or whom to heal first? 

 

that would be extra precious, cause in the beginning of the series she would definitely rush to Sasukeh, but now her feelings have changed..

and of course there would be tons of hesitation and stress from her side, poor Sakura-chan

I actually don't want Sakura to get involved in this fight, I don't want ANYBODY to get involved in this fight.

 

It has to be Naruto vs Sasuke. This supposedly epic fight has been bigged up so much over the course of the manga that I don't want other characters interfering. Let Naruto and Sasuke go at each other at full throttle. We know what those two are capable of. Bromance flashbacks and TnJ are inevitable BUT still This fight has the potential to rival any of the DragonBall series greatest fights.

 

I hope the Naruto-Sasuke fight turns out to be as good as its been predicted throughout the manga- EPIC.
