I think Kishi isn't realizing what he's doing. He can't write Sakura fitting in the team seven fight, so he gives her one moment apart from Naruto and Sasuke, and let her shout how useful or strong or team player she is. The words are supposed to cover up for the lack of actions.

This post, Why? If Sakura doesn't get any moment, its frustrating and people complain. But now she got a moment and people still find ways to complain. On one hand you are happy that Sakura is the epitome of normal and you don't want her to get powers pulled out of nowhere. On the other hand you also want her to do something incredible that can match Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi's asspulled powers. How can both happen? *sighs*

Kishi doesn't realize that he's making the weakest dog bark the most.

 

I was thinking that after Kakashi getting a power up that Sakura was going to be next so that all of Team 7 could take on Kaguya with equal force, but I suppose I was wrong. It seems Sakura's big relevance to the fight just boils down to her surprise punch, and although I liked that she also got involved it's still pretty lacking.

 

It does seem Kaguya is about to get sealed, but I have the feeling something could go wrong and that the fight is not over. Otherwise it feels pointless to have the edo-Hokages having a talk with Hagoromo. Maybe if the fight keeps on Sakura could have another role, but I won't hold my breath for it.

You're oversimplifying my opinion. It's as if, if I don't say my favorite color is black, then I must like the color white.

No bloodlines, no super natural energy, no bijuus, no sudden stupid power ups, no BS Hagos power up. Sakura was able to land a punch that made Kaguya bleed. Something even Sasuke wasn't able to do.

She did that to Kaguya with just her own power. Which is great. It shows how great Sakura really is. Sakura is basically the only current person on a battlefield who can be considered a human. She doesn't need those stupid BS power ups to be relevant! :D:D

Training?

All the powers (except for Chidori) he used in this chapter he obtained from an asspull that made no sense. Add to that he has demonstrated a surprising amount of proficiency for powers he has never used before.

But he has used the Kamui before and trained to use that better. He had the Kamui even before as a child, but never learned to use it right off the bat and proclaim himself a master of. All his other abilities he has learned he trained to use them more effectively. After the run in with Itachi, he confessed that he needed to use his abilities better and so he trained to do faster hand seals and use the Kamui in that time.

You look at one thing and decide to judge their entire character off all of that. Hell, even I am not that narrow minded with Sasuke and I hate the guy. So you easily forgot that two year training Kakashi did to use faster hand signs, use his Sharingan better, and unlock the mangekyo that he always had possessed. Hell, I remember him even commenting on how when he first used the Kamui that he had to work on his aim a bit better.

Yeah, the Susanoo was an asspull, but the Kamui he has been using for a while and he learned how to use that effectively with training and experience.

Shall we call Naruto's Rasengan an asspull now?

She just needs three other people with them to catch Kaguya's attention long enough to land a punch. I am glad to see her take the initiative (that part was good), but otherwise I'm far less impressed that others.I think you and sushi are correct. This isn't the leap forward people are treating it as, it's ancillary stuff in a desperate bid to have her do something because he can't consistent work her. Her bid to save Naruto and help Obito were more impressive. This is superior to nothing, but that's it.

 
Yes, exactly. I didn't post here when the chapter came out because there was so much temperature difference between me and the members. I was downright disappointed, everyone else was happy.

Kakashi not only fought head on with Kaguya, he made a strategy to defeat her. Even making a strategy was much more impressive than what Sakura did. Acting as a puppet, do her one trick pony attack from the start of part two, wait for the demigods Naruto and Sasuke to send Kaguya flying to Sakura's way, and punch. Just a punch. Where is the development in this? It was obviously a forced spotlight to make the readers know that this is "team seven teamwork". A teamwork where one member stays in the background waiting for the one in a million opportunity to land a single punch and then go back to standing, commenting, and cheering again.

Seriously?! That was the most appropriate comparision you could think of?! So Sakura is dog and she is weak as well huh?

This is what she said- '' We're both women. I'm here too. Don't make light of me '' . Isn't she a woman and isn't she a member of team Seven too?  What exactly is the problem if she shows some confidence? Did you want her to stutter and doubt her abilities like Hinata? 

And she deserves to have a bit of arrogance. She has done a lot in this fight. Certainly more than Sasuke. And yet Sasuke mouths off and he says stuff with an arrogance he doesn't deserve to have.

I thought Sakura saying "I'm here too" was because Kaguya wasn't paying attention to her, so in her head she was saying not to forget about her. Hence why she said what she said next

Right! So Sakura adding a 'too' to her 'I'm here too'  is a thing of huge significance and confirms her status as a 'weak dog'. And Kishimoto just hates Sakura and makes his wording on purpose just to emphasize that Sakura is third wheel. 

 

English grammar and wording!!!!! Man, I might have to take some more English classes because I didn't know that particular sentence could only have that exact meaning that you claim.
