Won't it be a swerve to actually have Naruto and Sasuke succeed to do it in the next chapter and then Hokages finally arrived and pretty much told, "Yeah, we won." Sounds like DBGT...

Do you think N vs S will still happen? Given the way the things are happening, I think Naruto and Sasuke will both work towards the betterment of the world. Whatever happens Sasuke cares for Naruto and we cannot deny that. Even the way Sasuke interacts with Naruto, it doesn't seem like he is co-operating with him just because he is the only one along with him who can defeat Kaguya. It more of....does seem like team work. But that is only limited to Naruto.

Besides, Sasuke's plan is still hidden, so that's a guaranteed heel turn. Otherwise, what was the point of it and for that matter, why waste our time. So yes, I'm certain that it will happen.

That said I get the feeling Hamura died by her hands or rather Juubi, so Hagoromo did his final seal attack, judging by the last chapter panel, and ended Kaguya's reign. I do think Hamura did something drastic that led Hagoromo to finish it off.

I'm honestly surprised people are shocked that there is no pure evil in this story.

You can't have complete understanding and compassion for your enemies - one of the overarching themes in the manga - if you deem your enemies to be pure evil.

i agree with u that there will be a fight .and sasuke now is nice to naruto and only naruto untill they finish the war . and sasukes true goal will be known .and they will fight ..and yes pride is a dangerous sin satins sin was pride. hamura either he sacrfised him self to help  hagoromo  sealing kaguya or after sealing kaguya he turned bad and haguromo killed him.

wow, I wasn't expecting to see Kaguya cry. It was kind of touching honestly. And I'm glad we finally got to see what Hamura looked like, I wonder if he'll have more relevance... I hope so tbh, cause if it's not it was pointless to give Hagoromo a brother.

Some of the chapter confused me a little bit. We found out how Madara survived... And the "who was REALLY the mastermind behind everything?" thing keeps shifting further and further back... First Obito, then Madara, now Zetsu... sigh. I wonder what the stone tablet originally said, I'm really curious.

How exactly did Naruto manage to break from Black Zetsu's grasp tho. Oh, and "that" technique. Now things are about to go down. Some kind of combination attack/jutsu between Naruto and Sasuke I'm guessing... I hope the Hokage show up some time soon, if they do at all.

So was the black Zetsu Hamaru or a third son, or a bi-product of the sealing? I got the impression it was a third son, so once again we don't get the story of the other brother, This for me atleast makes Sasuke look even worst than the Uchiha's in the past, the rest were manipulated by the immortal Zetsu, Sasuke was just tempted with words of others.

 

Atleast we finally got to see the other brother, and I think it pretty much confirms that the Hyuuga are indeed decendants of the other brother, he has the same pretty long hair and the eyes, and his relevance seems to be about as important as the Hyuuga in this story as well..lol Though I still think the Uzumaki came from the other brother as well. even the MS and MP translations seem to be slightly different, like page  15. One mentions Tobimaru hiding the corpse, the other says the black Zetsu.

Also last page Naruto had to mention 'That Jutsu' Now I don't know if that Jutsu is That Jutsu that gets mentioned in the past or a new jutsu that the sage taught them?

Which somewhat tells you the reason why we are starting off with just Naruto and Sasuke, so later on, there won't be any "brakes." Unless she somehow also have a daughter and a teacher, so when trying to take Sakura and Kakashi, she will repeat the same.

It seems like it also suggested that perhaps maybe Hamura died with no one to carry on. In other words, Hagoromo made it to carry the name under his sons, Hamura didn't. I mean why not chase after his child, Zetsu? Unless Hagoromo got the it factor that spawn children with great feat. So, I'm curious on how this all goes.

Oh he lost more than his sword this chapter. Kind of his clan's dignity...since it seems they were all pawns of Zetsu.
