I strongly believe that rikudou's bro was actually a sister. And maybe Hagoromo sealed her in the moon alongside the other half part of the Juubi. Maybe is she the famous princess from the moon, not kaguya?

 

Did you already read the raw version? How does Hagoromo's explanation go in it?

 

Did he use a gender neutral term when talking about his sibling? And most important, how did he explain the sealing of the Juubi? Did the Sage siblings sealed a part of the Juubi instead each of them?

well, Hagoromo used the word 兄弟 "Kyoudai" which is a neutral term. in this case, "sibling" is correct. The gender of his sibling is unknown (or purposely left vague from Kishi?).

Regarding the juubi's sealing... he said

"In order to make atonement for the sin of our mother, we siblings...fought against the incarnation of the Shinju, who was the Juubi... and sealed it into ourselves."

I just wonder why the sibling aspect wasn't mentioned in the history. It doesn't sound like he/she did anything wrong. Unless he/she did. But no mention as of yet. The chaos began with Indra disagreeing with Ashura. So why is that left out?

I think more important than knowing the gender of the Sage sibling is to know what on earth happened to the other half of the Juubi that was sealed inside said sibling.

 

That's too big of a plot point for it not to be addressed in the future.

not to be sure, but seeing the images of the two infants in the raw and then you make zoom on the left one, it seems that he has some feminine lines but it's maybe just a my impression lol

 

sure that kyoudai you can refer to a brother but it's still a little vague her... I thought also that he was talking about a brother but there's still uncertainty.

Something I've been wondering for a while now that I thought would be explained after all these years.

What was Sasuke planning on doing after he beat Itachi? Clearly running into Tobi and joining Akatsuki was not part of his plan, though we do know he would most likely have been caught and returned to Konoha had Obito and Zetsu not interfered.

Kishi never intended for Sasuke to return to Konoha, he wanted him to know the truth of Itachi. Sasuke doesn't belong to Konoha he still hates the village for what Itachi wen through and he will hate it forever. I see him traveling the world with Taka and probably been a spy for the Hokage who will obviously be Naruto.

What was the point of the Sage having a sibling? There was literally no mention of anyone else extraordinary in the legends, surely there would have been especially since Naruto and Sasuke ended up being reincarnations of Sage's sons and not himself and his brother.

You know, I do wonder if Naruto will share this info to Sakura/Obito. They know the later half of the beginning in which people used chakra for battles and force to bring peace. This is why Naruto thought he created ninjutsu, rather than ninshuu. Sakura wouldn't ask that, but ask the serious portion, so in this case, Naruto would ask from the beginning. That said I do wonder though. He doesn't have to say every details, but I could see him talking about peace and balance.

 

This is Naruto we are talking about, he'll say something 'I made a promise to an old man, I will stop this cycle of hatred' or something vague like he did when he leant the Bijuus names, or his father within the seal.

 

Well, I do wonder why Madara did obtain the eyes in the first place. I really think we have to wait for more chapters to get all answers. It almost feel like Madara is Indra since he was able to gain the eyes. That or maybe Indra is in all of them, especially the cursed mind of Uchiha. I guess Naruto's kind went extinct so now, Naruto is the only one left. Hm...

 

Madara got the Rinnigan because he infused Senju's chakra within him and was close to death, (we'll get a better idea whenever we get the Madara flashback, because we WILL get a flashback). I think Madara was Indra, not is, I posted this before, I believe that Hashirima and Madara were the previous incarnation of the brothers, and once they died were reborn as Naruto and Sasuke, Sasuke was born short after Madara died so it actuall makes sense and who knows maybe the soul of Ashura chose to be reborn only if his older was reborn, that's why he's a few months older, also he chose Naruto as no Senjus were being born, and chose the closest relation instead, and maybe that is the key to breaking the cycle of hatred, the fued not being between Senju and Uchiha, so neither is bound by history.

I originally thought it was sister, and reread it and saw brother, though Mangastream does say Siblings not brother, They do have long hair, (but then again so does Madara and Hashirama) My original thought was that the other sibling went onto create the Uzumaki Clan, they decided not to get between the fueds between their nephews and chose a more spiritual path away from civilisation, and work on defensive Fuin Jutsu's instead or maybe they chose to be the guardians of the Ten Tails body....Actually just had a thought, what if that was why they were destroyed, Madara read the history on the tombs, found out the Uzumaki's protecting the seal that held the ten tails body and used the war to get the Clan destroyed and gain control of the body. We have no idea how Madara managed to get the Ten tails did he simply summon it? Also why did he choose a Uzumaki to implant his eyes into?  I wouldn't be surprised at all if there is more to the Uzumaki than being distantly related to the Senju...though if that is the case it will mean we'll have to wait till Madara's flashback to find out.

 

Either way it certainly sounds like it will make for an interest fanfic.

This is where the mystery lies in. Now we only guessing on Indra though we can assume it's Sasuke. As for Naruto, why would that be the case? I know he's the next sage, but why did Ashura went to Naruto out of all people? I mean it's not like avatar, since it explained how the next avatar choice works. So again, why Naruto? For that matter, why not well Minato? In fact, feel free to jump anyone who knows a thing about reincarnation works, but since it's Ashura, does it mean it can only go to a male body? If not, why not Kushina? And Naruto was born already before her death? So yeah...I'm like losing circuit here.

I think I know who the final villain will be, at first I thought it was Madara then I thought it was gonna be Sasuke but now I think its pretty clear whose been pulling the strings this whole time

I think each generation both Indra and Ashura chose a member of their own clan to resurrect as, however somewhere along the line all Senju seem to have died and maybe Ashura chose not to be resurrected until he had to, so after he died as Hashirima he saw no need to resurrect as Madara (Indra) was too old to be a threat, (plus Senju were dying because Tsunade couldn't see past Dan) he chose Naruto because he was closest blood relative he had that was born soon after Indra's resurrection....or maybe because his mother was the host of the nine tails, and saw potential in achieving his dream of world peace through him. We may never know, heck for all we know this was all forseen and Hashirama got married to Mito knowing she'd choose Kushina as her successor and she'd give birth to Naruto...but then we are entering Bleach and Aizon territory and we don't want to go there.

 

Kushina or any other Uzumaki would not have made sense as they were living in a remote island away from the conflict, It wouldn't really make sense to be reincarnated into someone who wasn't going to be involved in any crazy plan Madara would have created.

surely by the end Naruto would be hokage so that he finally fulfilled his dreams, but if he creates world peace with ninshuu that would render the title of a kage as well as ninjas in general overall useless if there's no more fighting no more missions then there are no more ninjas, which makes sense for a conclusive ending but then Naruto wouldn't have the hokage title.

 

It seems its either be hokage in a world of ninjas

 

or

 

create world peace and no longer have ninjas

 

either one of these could happen imo it could really go either way.
