What...you wanted to see the rape? I'm glad they focused on Theon
Besides Alfie Allen's acting is amazing
Alfie Allen has really taken this show by storm. I'm amazed at how great he is.

Yes, he's an incredible actor
If they follow Theon's arc from the books this season is going to be great for him too

From what I read in wiki, in the book Sansa is more like political player(cersei, female Tyler) than warrior(arya, briene, and sand snakes) or ruler/commander(Danny and theon sister).
I just think that book Sansa =/= Show Sansa

She is not there yet but she is a lot more smart and knowledgeable than before
Besides only one of the Sand snakes is a warrior in the books

Two points:
1: After watching it in isolation again, the fight between Jamie, Bronn, and the Sand Snakes is really bad.
2: Where the heck is the Kingsguard that accompanied Myrcella?

1: It is
2: erased from the plot, like Arianne

I weep for poor Arianne. I recently re-read the Dorne stuff, and it grew on me a lot.

I am so done with GOT. Its becomes like Naruto. Good at start, awful now.
+ they ruined my fav character( Sansa). Thank you Dumb and Dumber.
I will finish reading books. I don't care when ( if ever) The winds of winter gets out.
They killed my passion in reading ASOIAF.
I am sad and disappointed. I never think that they do this to Sansa. it is not even her story in the books, it is Jeyne Poole story.
But i didn't think Moneymoto would ruin Sakura too. Women empowerment....yeah right.
PS:
SS (Sand Snakes) sux.

Well, the rape scene was expected since Sansa went to the north to marry Ramsay. I will reserve further comments to after her story develops more but keep in mind...
>I think the point of the scene, and the episode, for Sansa, is that she's strong enough to take losing her virginity to some psychopath. Winterfell is her home and they can't scare her, remember?
>I think it's pretty amusing that everyone sees this scene where Sansa lets Ramsay kitten her and immediately consider her weak and a victim for it. Trying to fight it would be the weak thing to do. Who's going to save her from Ramsay, in that moment? She also just agreed to marry the kittening guy, obviously he was going to consummate the wedding.

If you are taking about Martin's blog, I'm not sure it's necessarily a defense, especially if you take it alongside other comments he has made about peopling interpreting his work. Basically, I take his general silence more than his recent post since he really can't slam the show.
I doubt he would "slam it"
the series made him far richer than his books ever could
he just said books =/= shows and went on with it

I'm really tired of this "The books are the books, and the show's the show" attitude, which basically sums up what he wrote on that blog. It doesn't cut it.

I agree. It's just a shame because I think he's regretting some of his decisions to give the show folk so much freedom but he can't say anything about it. I just hope that translates to more writing for WoW so he can guarantee it's out before next season.

I can't believe there is even a debate on whether scenes like that are OK. It should just be 'no', then everyone should nod their head ~ end of story.
