Um...

Am I the only one thinking as of now, "Um, how Sasuke supposed to top this? Should I even care? I don't kow but this Naruto (and others) vs. Obito is much interesting and not to mention, the next BM moment could be the powerful one as hinted by Juubi itself.

Or in Orochimaru's case, absorbing Sasuke, and injecting Hashirama's DNA on himself. The rinnegan is the pathway to learn every jutsu, and even revive the death. Kind of what Orochimaru wanted from the start.
 
 
But I believe there is more to it than just fusing 2 strands together. Madara learned the ironic way as he only awaken the rinnegan near the end of his life...when he was unable to fully use it.

Hence the reasoning behind my responce to the other poster. Kishimoto never provided much exposition as to the specifics behind the Rinnegan's emergence in a Sharingan. The extent of our understanding for the doujutsu is that they are biologically related to Rikudou Sennin and that various evolutionary transformations can be attained under specific circumstances relating to the psychological predilection that all Uchiha have or through artificial implementation. Everything else like the nature behind Madara's Rinnegan awakening so late into his life is unknown.

Guess I should say one thing, the rinne tensei may not have been used up, Naruto said the hand seal was different from when he saw Nagato use it so Obito most likely used a different sealing jutsu on himself to become the jinchurki so because he thought he would become the jinchurki, he could keep Madara from getting revived and keep the rinne tensei for himself but as we know Madara has a backup plan of his own. Obito figured he would be justified in using the ten tails powers as the jinchurki rather than Madara especially after this stunt. But as we knew something was bound to go wrong with the ten tails sealing and as we see, the power may be too much for Obito as his intelligence may have gone back a lot replaced by nothing but pure rage like when Naruto went 4 and 6-8 tails ramage mode. So there may still be a rinne tensei lying around but Obito is not going to use it anytime soon and Madara cannot gain control to force Obito to use it again, in fact he may have just become the prime target but Madara is the wild card now, no telling what he is going to pull up. Obito is going to be a lot like Aizen from Bleach now for sheer power and also I feel like he is a bit of that small arracnar wonderweiss, he was a very powerful and dangerous weapon but had hardly any intelligence, I feel thats what Obito has just become, unless he adapts to the power and manages to resurface over the immense power within him, he may not be getting his personality back soon. It may take something powerful like memories of Rin to bring it up, I mean as Mito Uzumaki said, the only thing to keep the tailed beasts power in check was love. This is why Naruto, Kushina, Gaara, Bee, and we could assume Yugito (as the cloud village did value her) succeeded where the others had fallen, they had sources of love to keep them happy, Naruto it was his parents always there but mostly the friends he made and village he wanted to protect, Kushina due to Minato and Mito, Gaara for his entire village after changing due to Naruto, Bee for Ay and eventually the other villagers, and we could assume Yugito faced the same stuff as Bee. But for Obito, he is a loose canon, a life based on misery is not good to house the most powerful tailed beast of all, its like mixing gasoline and gunpower, its going to be very flammable and explosive. Not good at all. Though this does mean that its possible for the rinne tensei to be lying around, at this point maybe it will be used maybe it won't and will just vanish when Obito dies. Depends on how things turn out but for now, consider the rinne tensei on the side, maybe it will be used if Obito gains his mentality again or it goes down the drain when he croaks.

As for Juubi/Obito... Let me paste you a thing. It was kinda foreshadowed in the anime, in a filler episode.

 

I found this really interesting thread on other Naruto forum about Tobi and thought I should share with you.
This guys is so observant, lol.

During one of the filler arcs, Tobi stopped at a Dango shop with Deidara, and said this.

“Ichibi, Nibi, Sanbi, boku wa Tobi!” while referring to the tailed beasts.

It translates to: “Ichibi, Nibi, Sanbi, and I’m Tobi!”

Tobi’s plan for world domination is to revive the Juubi, or “Ten-Tailed Beast”.

But he also said that he was trying to achieve a complete form of his own.

Here’s the neat part:
When counting from one to ten in Japanese, it goes:
Ichi, Ni, San, Yon, Go, Roku, Shichi, Hachi, Kyuu, Juu.

When counting objects, it goes differently:
Hitotsu, Futatsu, Mittsu, Yottsu, Itsusu, Muttsu, Nanatsu, Yatsu, Kokonotsu, To.

The tailed beasts get their names by combining the character for the number of tails they have with the character for“bi”.

That means that Tobi’s statement to Deidara can actually be translated as:
“One-Tailed, Two-Tailed, Three-Tailed, and I’m Ten-Tailed!”

I've always thought that the endgame would revolve around Naruto somehow losing the kyuubi.

I don't know but that will be weak to have Naruto weakened in order to have Sasuke to be equal. That's sad for Sasuke if you ask me.

Perhaps it's this fourth unspecified ocular jutsu that Madara was referring to. Come to think of it, he hasn't revealed what his two MS  jutsu were. I find it odd that Kishi has yet to address these specific plot points. It's possible that Itachi may have been referring to the tengu warrior that Madara used, but then it shouldn't be classified as an entirely new jutsu, just a final evolutionary step for Susanoo. 

 

Any opinions or theories?

 

What if the new technique is required to preform the moons eye plan, and Madara just didn't tell Obito, this could be the reason Madara is so calm now that Obito has become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, he knows that Obito can't cast Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Could be but he will be like that guy from Soul Eater, who's like godly like but far away, or how that guy from Busou Renkin who was too top tier. In other words, best to obtain him before he goes loose and perhaps cause total destruction, never able to find him. Madara must take action now because Obito is now god and he can go insane at any moments. You know the old saying, the master dies by the hand of a student.

Well my theory is far from complete ^^ but it seems to me that Sasuke may play the role of both the snake and tengu. Is there possible redemption for Sasuke, and how? Although Sasuke summons snakes he goes a log with a group team Hawk. Tengu takes the form if predator birds. I refrain from saying much more on this topic for now ^^

My apologies if this does not make sense at the moment or have any relevance to the chapter, but I will explain so later when I have more time!

If there is any other ability for the sharingan then it should bear the name of a shinto god or some other deity.

 

Tsukuyomi, Susano, Amaterasu, Izanami, Izanagi, Kagutsuchi.

Maybe Hachiman the god of war.

About Sasuke gaining the ultimate level of his eye, it can be from both Madara or Orochimaru... or any other way. It simply just have to make him able somehow to get the Rinnegan cause those two can give it to him, and he can have it also by passing with a near death situation or something emotional. Kishi can simply pick any option and give Sasuke the Rinnegan, may it be from anything that he'll explain it how.

I see it more like Obito is targeting all of them, but Naruto will be on par with him sometime after and possibly others helping him.

The Juubi has taken interest in Naruto before, I guess he sees the Sage in him or something.

 

Now that the Juubi's body is more effective(human form), he can walk around instead of standing there spamming bijuu bombs like an idiot.

 

Maybe it will also start talking? I've been waiting for that a while now.

Yeah it seems like he's just going to go straight through everyone towards him. Though I am hoping Gaara and the other Kage show up to try and slow him down a bit. I miss Gaara XD.
