She didnt receive kyuubi's chakra, she was the only one that didnt receive this at least makes her special on a certain point of view from Kishimoto.

I agree Sakura will be doing something later. But people are saying its going to be too late coming and likely not reach expectations since its been put off so far

You don't put off a main character this long without the story and character suffering. The writing is bad.

As for Sakura being missing? Obvious omission is obvious, that's all I can say. I'm inclined to believe that her shocked expression during #615 was not because of Hinata's speech, but because in that moment she was informed of Tsunade's injuries as well as the other Kage -- probably through Katsuyu. I think Sakura is no longer on the current battlefield, and it would appear that Sai isn't either.

I don't know how likely that is — probably not very — but it would be amazing if Sakura went off to help the Kage. I still think her expression in 615 was cause of Hinata, cause it seems too unlikely to be anything else, but she could possibly be with Tsunade and had Sai take her there, since he's got the ink bird and was missing, too.

About Hinata's relocation of Naruto's shoulder.... Kishimoto purposely drew reader attention to it. Why? Naruto's shoulder repair could have been left out or dealt with later; it's not as if Naruto wouldn't have gone on despite the pain. But Kishimoto bothers to draw that moment, and shows Hinata -- who is known not to be a healer -- using an improper technique (a Muggle technique, if you will) to do it. Why? My immediate impression was that the entire reason for showing it at all was Kishimoto making a point: Sakura isn't there to do it. She's NOT THERE. There's no other reason, and nothing else makes sense.

Notice what occupies his brain stem? I want to believe that whoever made this cartoon knows their neuroanatomy. Naruto's heart beats, and his lungs draw breath, and he is a conscious part of the living world because of his brain stem -- in this case, Sakura.

True Sakura first and NS later. I know waiting sucks but we just have to be patient and it will come when we least expect it. I don't know what will happen but kishi drew Sakura on the color spread last chapter, he obviously did not forget about her.



I would say so. It would be NS if it were Sakura would it not? Especially because I don't see any reason for his shoulder to be brought up again. It's not so much it was a major NH moment just the fact that Kishi keeps going with the Hinata stuff and in ways Sakura could have easily shined. If all the rookies are supposed to shine why have Hinata again?

I agree Sakura will have a huge moment. The main worry is that it will have to do with Sasuke. I'm not panicking. We all miss Sakura.

It's not about pairings at this point, not about nh ns or ss, it's about Sakura and how much she has been neglected. He trolled her in the kage summit arc badly and made her come back on her own words, it wasn't anymore about we will do it together it was "i will believe in Naruto and go back to the kitchen", since then he completely forgot about her and then he brought her back to show her love for Sasuke a man who would take her life without second toughts and who still wants to kill her her parents her friends and destroy her village this is a horrible way to write one of your main characters no matter how you slice it. Now that everyone's time to shine has come what do we get ? Sakura in the background while the weakest and most unconfident character takes her place and is now a fountain of wisdow, she even knows how to heal Naruto without him asking for it (yes Hinata is able to read toughts and knows how to replace dislocated shoulders) and taking Sakura's role along with it amazing writing isn't it ? Now as much as this Hinata nonsense is forced down our throats this is not the worse, the worse is that this nonsense comes at the expense of the main characters mainly Sakura and Naruto for obvious reasons. I think one member named weltall said it best : to make one character shine kishi has to make the others characters appear worse than they really are this is bad. The whole alliance is attacking as one man apart from Sakura of couse because lolz who cares about her ? She has only been a main character for the majority of the manga now it's Hinata's role pffff.
You can't even imagine how disapointed I am by kishi right now i tried to give him some credit but now I simply can't i won't execpt anything from him and i wouldn't even be surprised if nh and ss happen even if it means off panelling Naruto's feelings and give a side character her wish over his protagonist's feelings and desires.

I can't even. The chapter itself was actually good, but this just altogether completely ruined it for me. I'm once again in rage-mode ... I thought I wouldn't be like this again for a while so soon after 615. It's such an insignificant thing ... but Hinata frickin' took Sakura's role. 615 was absolutely horrible, Hinata was the heroine. She was the heroine right there. Now she frickin popped his dislocated shoulder back into place. Was that the point of it in the first place? So Hinata can be epically great beyond compare? When you have perfectly functioning medical ninja around who promised to herself she and Naruto would do everything together? Kishimoto, wtf, wtf, wtf, wtf.

I'm so pissed off and disappointed. I never expected Sakura to do anything in this chapter, but I at least expected one frickin panel of her in the damn chapter. But no, Kishimoto doesn't even give a kitten enough to do that. Sakura just vanished off the face of the earth and no one cares. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING KISH?!". God, he's such a hypocrite. He supposedly says in an interview that Sakura is the heroine and he'll make her more heroine like, but then lets Hinata overshadow her multiple times in just a few chapters. I'm actually starting to believe the interview that said Kishimoto thought Hinata would be a better heroine was the non-biased one. He's doing the opposite of backing up his words.

I don't understand. Kishimoto says he's terrible at writing heroines. Firstly, what kind of excuse is that? Developing a heroine isn't any more difficult than writing a hero. You just have to actually focus on them. Secondly, then why is Hinata suddenly our Shining Star? You're doing a wonderful job with her so far, a side character. But you neglect Sakura, your actual heroine. Fail, Kishimoto. Once again, you've proven your terrible writing. Your manga's heroine does nothing anymore. No wonder so many hate her.

This isn't even about NaruHina. I'm still not even worried that it'll become canon. This is about Kishimoto forgetting his heroine and doing it with no actual excuses anymore. I'm so sick of Hinata right now, I hate her. Yeah, at this moment I HATE her. I'm so angry at this moment, I'm disgusted with Hinata. I can't stand anymore of her unbearable focus and stealing the heroine roles. It's Sakura's rightful place, not her's. Too bad both Kishimoto and Hinata don't give a damn.

I know/hope Sakura will have her shining moment. However, my disgust with Kishimoto is returning again full-force. I'm not rage-quitting, but if this Hinata focus drags on much longer, I swear to god I will take a several week break so I don't have to stomach all of it anymore. It's getting way too bad now ...

Sorry, Chucky-kun. I know I'm overreacting a little. I'm just so mad! Logically, I know Sakura's not there and there's a definite reason for it, but it's all this Hinata attention that's getting to me. Not NH, Hinata. 615 was still a definite heroine moment and I've just been so Sakura deprived lately, Hinata constantly popping and doing heroine-like roles is bothering me. I truly can't deal with any of this any longer. Not nearly as bad as 615, thank god. It's just where the hell is Sakura? I wanna see her do something now, to shut the haters up. Shippings doesn't matter that much right now, Sakura does.

Well, the part of his frontal lobe that knows he isn't is bigger than the part that wonders if he is, lol. Either way, reasoning of the frontal lobe is trumped by the instinct of the brain stem.

Seriously where the kitten is Sakura? she wasn't even this panel Not to even see her in one panel is odd, I'm starting to think maybe she did get sent to Kakashi's dimension, with the plan that they attack Obito so he goes to the other dimension and get a super chakra enhanced punch from Sakura. That would be a pretty awesome plan actually. she's probably physically the third strongest Shinobi, after Lee and Guy, maybe even the strongest so it's possible.

Actually this was a really cool chapter with the way that for the first time we've seen Kishi show Naruto a capability because of his bloodline, for the first he showed us an amazing abilty only possible because he is a Uzumaki and it's not something the Uchiha could do...(though this is Kishi he'll probably show the Uchiha do something even better) /he took Karins' ability of giving her chakra to heal and recharge others using her chakra and took it to a whole new level.

Honestly, I'm pretty much giving up all hope on her. It's not about NS anymore, it's about Sakura as a character. I still can't believe an author would go through such lengths to spit on his own character. I'm also honestly not taking the "something big is gonna happen for her!! just be patient!!" excuse seriously anymore. When?? when will it happen?? it's like some of those OP fans that keep saying "Oda has a big plan!! just be patient!!". This is why I quit OP and am pretty much close to quitting this manga if Kishi doesn't do anything to fix it.

But that said, your theory is plausible. Let's just wait and see. Although it would be awesome if it were true, I would rather have Kakashi face Obito alone without any help. I'm pretty sure Kakashi can cancel Obito's phasing completely right now. With Kurama's chakra, he probably doesn't have to worry about nearly killing himself from chakra depletion.

Lastly, about Kurama's comments, I think this is exactly what Minato meant for the seal's function to be like. We know that Naruto's seal was meant to mix his chakra with Kurama's chakra naturally. The reason why he specifically designed it that way was likely for an event like this. The keyword is when Kurama said only Naruto can link Kurama's chakra. The "link" here is likely the seal itself that naturally mixes their chakra together. Even though by virtue of being Uzumaki he can freely pass out chakra to anyone, he still needs the seal as a link. The seal's purpose is for this reason only. I'm guessing Kushina could also do this as well, but my guess is that Kushina's seal is nowhere near as good as Naruto's seal. This is why Minato was considered a great genius.

Now, either Minato has become an utter Gary Stu or the time travel theory is true.

It's hardly about pairings about this point, it's about Kishi neglecting his main character, Sakura, for so long. She's obviously the heroine, she was confirmed heroine just last week, but he's just too slow to show that.

He needs to do things in a timely manner, I'm sorry but everything is just going too slowly. People lose interest and lose track of what's happening after so long.

I am expecting Sakura to drop kick/punch Juubi now that it's out of Obito's and Madara's control, but I just don't think Kishi is very good at character management now a days.

Seriously, I was starting to HATE her healing abilities. Tsunade is a top notch medic, but we still get to see her throw down. We still know she is capable of handling herself in a fight. I get that she needs to stay out of the fight for strategic purposes, but come the hell on. Desperate times call for desperate measures, if you have someone who cant send bodies flying with one punch SHE NEEDS TO BE FIGHTING.

FREAKIN' AGREE. I know at least one medic character in a shonen manga and actually kicks ass 10x better than Tsunade & Sakura combined. Oh, and the kicker?? she's actually only 4-5 years younger than Sakura herself!! Kishi needs some lessons from a certain mangaka about this.

Sakura is suffering from his writing but he doesn't care since he's keeping for later, since her time to shine is not coming yet he has to make her as non existent as possible, seriously is Kishi an idiot ?

i really liked this chapter... lee was so cool!! im so glad that kishi gave him the honors to actually land a hit as awesome as that kick to lee... neji has been redeemed, his death wont go to waste and kudos to naruto for finally surpassing minato and kushina...!!

and as for hinata? ... why are we freaking out over her? ... we just saw her hand... we couldnt even see her face! we shouldnt be threatened by every little thing she does!
in fact, i think we've gotten soft... just think about the hinata fan base who had to deal with sakura and be reminded time and time again that sakuras the main heroine not hinata throughout the entire series.... think from theyre point of view, they barely had any hinata and had expected just as many great things from her to get chapter 615.... theyve been surviving and going strong throughout the series when they had nothing... we have so much and now that we're going through a sakura-dry spell, we're panicking....

so i say we suck it up and wait patiently... i for one had expected no sakura in this chapter and i even said it on deviantart... its been just two chapters since the plan was set in motion and we just had a heroine-moment from hinata so kishi wouldnt have brought in more girl action especially in a shonen manga.... besides, as someone mentioned earlier, id prefer no sakura then sakura being squeezed in to small panels, at least it shows that kishi isnt grouping her together with all the other side characters....

so the characters that got to shine are: neji, hinata, shikamaru, ino, chouji and now lee...

i doubt kiba, shino and ten ten will have any significant moments, nothing has been hinted towards them so that leaves sai and sakura...

i really really hope that sakura goes to heal the kages with sai, maybe then she'll get some sort of power up... specifically the mitotic byakugou jutsu tsunade used in her fight with madara because she said that anyone who masters that is allowed to break the other rules of a medic nin....

Well considering this is sasuke were talking about (someone who has had countless girls after them yet shows no interest) and orochimaru, id say its safer to assume they are going to a boys dorm

I must admit, it is rather uneasy to see some go down. It's like I said, don't get hype, rather reserve yourself. Expect small things only to earn bigger. I can't really comment the whole battle until it ends and I hope soon so we can finally rest and not freak out so much. I hope Sasuke doesn't stall time because now it's not the time. It seems like time travel at the same speed for both Naruto and Sasuke, so if we focused too much on Sasuke, the battle can get off-panel, which it will be dumb.

The writing is bad since Madara got introduced, i'll wait until this arc is over if i'll quit or not.
