People don't want Obito to change because it's interesting having someone not conform to Naruto's ideas after a talk-no-jutsu. The only person who hasn't thus far is Sasuke, but he's destined someday to turn good in someway.

SasuKarin is dead. No matter what pairing it is, Sasuke is not boyfriend material. Karin outright stated that she was done with Sasuke. If she were to go back to Sasuke (whether it be next chapter or at the very end of the story or anywhere in between) after what he's done to her, it would greatly detriment her character. Making SasuKarin canon would be bad writing in itself just to make some half-assed point about forgiveness that will never make Sasuke be seen as a good person no matter how hard Kishi tries to shoehorn this point down the fandom's throats. Some people just don't deserve forgiveness, especially bland fictional douche-bags with over-inflated egos (i.e. Sasuke).

Yes but tell me what karin can do?
suigetsu, juugo and karin orbitate around sasuke no matter what you think it wont change what karin will do she will go back to sasuke, because she's a side character, the same applies to hinata that her only resolution is naruto this and naruto that, there are few characters that are genuine, naruto, kakashi, gai, sakura, and a few that you know, sakura still have lingering feelings for sasuke but she orbitate around it?, no , she's more complex she dont "need" sasuke, but karin need sasuke.

it's not bad writing, kishi should dispose them already but thanks to his editors he has forced to let them still on the story, there's no development for them.

It's an question of perspective, remember how woman were burned in stakes an hundred years ago framed of witchery and everyone thought it was the most normal thing in the world? I think, Obito is not entirely baseless, the ninja world is such an horrible place, maybe protecting it is not that worth it.

Lets hope you don't drop the Manga after he gets TNJ, real villains does not get TNJ: Gato, Oro, Madara, are real villains, villains that have to do bad think to survive or to bring peace on their on way always, always end up being TNJ by Naruto and Tobi is just another victim.
The reason why many were asking for him to be Izuma or Kagomi is because they wanted a true villain not someone with a sad story.

The TNJ was already hinted when Shikaku told him about not being able to change Tobi with word and Naruto telling Kakashi that he will listing to his story latter.

Chances for a battle until the end is Madara's arrival.

What sad past does Obito have? Rin died. So what? You have to remember that this is the same Tobi we've known all these chapters. He knows his plan. He wants to complete it and doesn't give a damn what anyone else thinks. That's how Obito is. If he suddenly turns good then i'm choking a b*tch.

True, but after all was said and done, I would think they'd recover the body at least or something.

Which now that I think about it, left room for something like Tobito to happen. I mean, what if he was actually alive under those rocks, suffering and all and they never came back to check on him or anything.

you can say thats not good enough.....but thats not fair.....when someones "world" gets destroyed whether its family like sasuke or a master like naruto, everyone handles it differently. just because someone like naruto was able to get through it doesnt make it any less painful. different reactions.

though i still have a hunch thats not the only reason for obito

I hope no girl is near you on that day, since Naruto will TNJ Tobi and show him a better way to peace just like how he did with Nagato, I have a big feelings that the original plan is Mandara's and Tobi is just a Tool.

You guys! What if because Obito's sharingan was activated when he gave his eye to Kakashi, he has been able to watch Kakashi's whole life from that eye and that's how he knows tons of stuff including that Rin died despite being absent!
