As I said before, I don't really think we can try to fit this into manga canon. I'm pretty sure the Akatsuki with Tobi isn't exactly real either way.

I don't see why Sakura would act different to Naruto because she confessed. He had her panties on him, she would act the same way in canon as well. Also yeah, that was my point earlier that it would be pretty pathetic for her to still see Sasuke that way after all that happened but hey....that's the way it is I guess. Also Naruto himself pretty much confirmed this takes place after the Team 7 Reunion based on how he said how much Sasuke changed.

The village was in perfect condition during Blood Prison which took place right after the Pain arc when it should still be in horrible condition.

Let me put it this way, if you're a big DB fan like myself you will know what I'm talking about. Remember Super Android 13! Goku was really sick when Makihero die and after he woke up he and Gojan start their training so the movie takes place after Gohan defeated Cell, Gohan was a Super Saiyan 2 and in the movie he was a weak link.
Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan, again Gohan was the strongest he should be able to use is super saiyan powers in his 2nd form and give Broly a good fight, but in that movie Goku was the strongest by far.

What I'm saying that the event will take place after the summit, but the world will be altered, it will not be like the event we are already known from the Manga, too many things contradicted it, plus the movie clearly shows that Sakura will be all gaga over Sasuke, 1- She knows Naruto loves her. 2 She knows Sasuke try to kill her, Kishi loves all his creations, isn't that more of a display of an character destruction traits he will be doing to her character. Why will he do that? You see loving Sasuke is one thing, but ignoring the person that has done everything passeble to see you happy and finding out that he suffers because he loves you, when you also offer to love him back is not nice at all.
That's why I feel that the summit happen but the event in the summit didn't. It makes more sense to me this way.
The way you picture the event doesn't help her character at all, it will only happen if Kishi really hates Sakura and he want's to show her in the worse pathetic way by not taking away her personality and leaving the fangirl that over look at everything just for the sake of her Sasuke-kun.

Why would Kishi do that to her character? Does he has a personal grudge with her character? Was Kishi rejected by a girl and wanted to use Sakura to take revenge on her? Non of this makes any sense and if Kishi does the movie the way you are implying it will show that he hates her something I really doubt. Again it clearly happens after the summit but many of the events could be altered.

Despite the fact that we get very little Sakura in this chapter - let alone any NS moments - I still enjoyed it (though I would've liked to see more of Sakura). And although I could've gone without Naruto thinking of Sasuke yet again, I was glad to see all the K11 interact again. I really do love the lighthearted moments, where they act like normal teenagers (at least somewhat). Also, love Naruto's "So did I win or lose in the end...!?" xD He kills me, along with Shino's whole "White-maru"thing. Gotta love those guys.

Hinata did look kinda pretty in this chapter, but in the parts Sakura was shown, she was, too (except the last ones, I guess) Poor Sakura. You don't have to be jealous of Hinata! You're gorgeous already (as evidenced by Naruto, Lee, Inari, Jiraiya, Love Letter nin, and even Konohamaru - his "not bad" comment to Naruto)! She's one of the few girls in the series who's actually been called pretty (and other variations), so that has to mean something. And I don't know about Sakura, but I'd much rather have a pretty face (and a slim, yet curvy figure, like she does) than huge boobs. P: But still, it was nice to see her try and get Hinata to relax. Maybe now Sakura haters will realise she IS a good person.

I just love how Naruto defended Lee. <3 So kind. And Sakura didn't jump to conclusions, like I'm sure some people would have expected her to. She's really matured, hasn't she? And it just goes to show how similar her and Naruto really are.

As for the covers, I wouldn't worry about them. I'm sure we all would've preferred if Sakura didn't swoon over Sasuke (even if it is AU), but it's to be expected, right? She used to completely fangirl over him. Besides, I have faith she'll choose Naruto in the end regardless. Now, if Naruto would have let Hinata be all over him, then we'd have reason to worry - but nope, he's obviously very uncomfortable (maybe even a little disgusted?). And yeah, I noticed the blue-pink and orange-purple letters on the covers, instead of the usual orange-pink - but as people have mentioned before me, it's most likely a red herring.

Ooh, and I agree with those who say "they thought this is what they wanted, but they soon figure out they prefer their normal lives."

This whole chapter has just got me more excited to see the actual movie. I think others should feel the same.

Will there be more chapters? I thought it would be once in a week , cuz in the end, it looked like a cliffhanger. And the title was "chapter 1".
