Oooh.... That's too bad. My sympathies. But yeah I'm slowing down a bit my self cause I've got an exam tomorrow. And I say 90% but there is actually quite a ways to go in the story.

HEHEHEHEHE......... I don't know about anyone here, but I finished Milla's story. I started with her story first but there is still something for me to do before I move to Jude's story.

Shouldn't have found out that the Japanese VA for Milla was Miyuki Sawashiro. Now I really wished there was dual audio.

Yeah, I ALWAYS wish for dual audio on tales games, not that the english voice actors are bad, but because the voices sometimes are way out of proportion. Example, Luke and Emil's eng VAs portrayed them as too whiny and childish, which while is what they are like for a good chunk of the game they don't have to sound like such babies.   And others actually sound like 2-3 times their age, for example Tear.

picked up Tales of Legendia in my local video game shop, they also had a copy of Tales of the Abyss, for PS2. my question is it worth picking up assuming it is still there when I return if I own the 3DSversion?

What!!!??? Are you Kidding Me!!?? I was looking all over for that (Abyss)!!!!  never found a copy!!!! buy it buy it buy it!!!! It's an a valuable video game antique!!! Never to be found again (at a game shop). Just buy it, and you can play it with your son.

For those that don't know yet Tales of Xillia 2 NA release date is August 19 22nd on Europe. As expected I knew the game is going to be release the same month as the first Xillia.

I am pissed my store only got one copy for a guy that pre-ordered not gonna waste my time there again so I will download it instead

 

downloaded it today and started it up my vita was running out of power so stopped at first savepoint, I know what I will be playing on the bus to work tomorrow

great game so far a nice change of pace from the darkness that is Xillia 2 not that I don't love that game just the story is very dark.

Yeah me too. I mean Xilia 2 had alot of tragedy it it and I do love those elements when done properly but it's a bit depressing at times too. Hearts is great but I find the situation at the beginning a little depressing.

I got Tales of Heart and I Really like it because of the Stat system .

We still have to wait till next Friday to get the game here in the UK. Though I am worried I will never play it, was considering gettingthe VitaTV just to play this, bt that might be overkill for one game, plus I will hav e more than enough this month. Both PS+ and XBL live expire over the next two weeks, Halo came out this week, Hearts and GTAV next week and KH 2.5 in a few weeks time. plus I'm hoping to pick up Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2.

 

Games are like freaking buses, you wages for one to come along and then a whole conga line turns up at the same time.

My Backlog is stacking up as well. lol. Destiny, COD AW, AC Unity and Rogue, now this one.. then more games incoming.at least TOHr , is supposedly 20 Hours long , so it should be an easy finish.

 

Why not get a Vita instead for the longer run?

Destiny is the reason only reason I never got around to finishing Xillia 2, My copy of Xillia 2 got sucked into the postal vortex for a week, and when I did get it Destiny came out soon after, and that somehow tookup all my time.

 

Destiny is like those mobile phone games that you don't seem to enjoy but you can't stop playing them. I haven't played a CoD or AC game for years, I got tired of Cod at MW2 and AC I find myself getting bored really quickly. I also want to play Infamous Second Son, the Last of Us, and dead rising 3...Oh and I completely forgot the new Pokemon game and I want to get a Wii U for Mario Kart and SSB.

 

Hearts-r might be only 20 hours long for most people but I'm the type of person who plays so slowly that after 40 hours of game time in Xillia 2 I am not even half way through the main campaign.

 

Oh I already own a Vita, I got it to play persona 4 (a game I have yet to play.) but I really don't like the controls on the handheld, (My and PS controls have had a long love hate relationship, Sony want me to love their controllers, I simply hate them all.from the first DS controller, to the Vita and DS4 controls.)  and staring at the small screen for too long gives me blurry vision, it would mean I would struggle reading text on the screen, after as little as 30 minutes of gameplay, that would not make for a productive day, that's why I thought about getting a Vita TV, I could play on the big screen and not strain my eyes too much.

 

Edit: Is that signature from the new anime that's airing? I know it's originally based off a VN game, she's the one that keeps on attacking the protagonists with a stanley knife right? Is the anime worth watching, I've downloaded the episodes so far but have this feeling of dream that it's going to be one of those bad ending animes.

Hah! I dont like destiny that much too, but damn its addicting. lol I might get Xillia 2 after Hearts. its my first Tales of Series game, and i think i'd like more.

 

And Defs should play P4, you can always download it in ps3 if you want to . but the vita version is the latest one. and i do understand the struggle with handheld. i still pref big screen, heck my 3DS is collecting dust in my cupboard. ;p 

 

and Yes.  my Sig is from GRIASIA No Kajitsu, if you're after a pairing, anime is not for you as it touch base with all the girls problems without much romance to make way for the 2nd one, Griasia No Meikyuu. 

 

but if youre after the storyline and comedy . defs should watch it :)
